 The Sun

The Sun In Scorpio

Life’s mysteries come into focus when the Sun moves into intense Scorpio. This Water sign is the detective of the zodiac, digging beneath the surface and uncovering hidden secrets about ourselves, others, and the world at large. This is a time when we’ll want to shine a light into the shadows so that we can transform one another with the truth.

Halloween, All Saints Day, and Day of the Dead all take place under the influence of the Scorpio Sun, and that’s no coincidence! The veil between our world and the realm of spirits (both visible and invisible) is said to grow thin during Scorpio season, heightening our ability to connect with those who have passed. This is why we’re especially drawn to all things spiritual and otherworldly while the Sun is in Scorpio.

Scorpio wants answers, and the only way to get to the bottom of things is to ask a lot of questions, keep your eyes and ears open, and investigate everything (and everyone) around you. If you’ve wanted to find out the truth about something, this is the time to do it!

The Waning Gibbous moon is currently 17.9 days old. The next new moon is at 11:58:05, 11 Jan 2024. The next full moon is at 17:54:43, 25 Jan 2024.

Alright, Scorpios! Gather up, my celestial scorpions! The Waning Gibbous moon is about as close to a full moon as my unfinished PhD thesis is to being acknowledged by the scientific community. That's a solid 17.9 days old, in case you're keeping track. Or if you're like me, and have a spreadsheet for everything. Now, under the influence of this phase, your intuitive powers are hitting higher than Spock's eyebrow during a Vulcan mind-meld. It's a good time to bring out those dusty tarot cards or maybe even try dowsing. Heck, you might even find that missing sock you've been mourning for weeks! But beware, oh arthropods of the cosmos! Your stinger is also shining brighter than a glow-in-the-dark Star Trek poster in a pitch-black room. Don't let your emotions go all 'Khan vs Kirk' on the people around you. Remember, not everyone can handle your intensity, just like not everyone understands why I still cry at the end of E.T. On the work front, expect a few unexpected neutron star explosions. But don't worry, it's nothing a Scorpio can't handle. Just remember to keep your phasers set to stun and not kill. In love, you're about to encounter a warp speed romance that will make Captain Picard's fling with Vash look like a kids' tea party. Just remember to keep your shields up until you've scanned for any possible Klingons. So, to sum it up, Scorpio, this phase of the moon is your own personal Holodeck. Use it wisely but don't forget to have some fun along the way. And if anyone questions your methods, just tell them that you're "doing a science". They'll never understand it anyway. #ScorpioSeason #WaningGibbous #StarTrekLife #DoingAScience
