Pluto is currently in retrograde, with 156 days left. Hang in there!

Solar activity was very low. Regions 2760 (S07W31, Cro/beta) was stable and absent of significant flare activity. Region 2762 (N23W61, Axx/alpha) produced a B1 flare at 30/1217 UTC. Newly numbered Region 2763 (N32E16, Bxo/beta) was stable and inactive. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.

The solar kp index is unsettled, with retrograde effects slightly enhanced. The solar wind speed is currently normal.

There is currently only one planet in retrograde.

Don’t expect that transformative events just kind of slow down and things mellow during this retrograde cycle, because it does not work that way. Pluto’s going backwards alright, right down into your shadow. It’s a good time to unpack some baggage lest you start projection vomiting it everywhere.

Solar wind parameters reflected nominal conditions. Wind speed values were at or below 300 km/s. Total field remained below 5 nT while Bz did not drop lower than -2 nT throughout the reporting period. Phi angle was negative.

There is a 10% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
