The Bz component underwent mainly weak deviations through about 01/0900 UTC, before it became mainly, weak south-directed. The phi angle was negative until nearly 01/1000 UTC, when it switched into a positive sector. The phi angle became variable by 01/1530 UTC, suggestive of HCS proximity. Solar wind speed measurements were somewhat uncertain due to the very low density environment, however, it appeared that speed ranged primarily from 475-525 km/s.

There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 25% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.
