The source for this activity was most likely a small, isolated, positive polarity CH HSS that is no longer visible in GOES SUVI 195A imagery. Total IMF strength was predominantly stronger than 5 nT and had peaks of 10 nT. The Bz component varied throughout the period, with some prolonged periods dominated by southward orientation. Solar wind speed increased and averaged about 550 km/s, with some peaks ~590 km/s. The phi angle was negative early, but deflected into a positive sector at 23/0545 UTC.
