The Sun

Solar activity returned to low levels with no M-class flare activity observed. Region 3421 (N14W26, Dai/Beta) produced the vast majority of the flares, including the largest of the period; a C5.3/Sf flare at 06/1756 UTC. This region began to exhibit signs of decay as it lost some of its intermediate spots. Region 3423 (N16E36, Dao/beta) displayed growth in both leader and trailer spots, increasing in overall area as well. Region 3425 (N23E70, Cso/beta) was numbered this period as it began to rotate into view on the north east limb. The remaining active regions were fairly unremarkable.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

The solar wind environment reflected a mildly enhanced solar wind regime. Total field averaged between 1 nT and 7 nT, Bz was between +5 and -6 nT, and wind speeds reached a peak of just over 460 km/s. The Phi angle spent several hours in both positive and negative orientations, but ended the period in a negative position.

There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 25% chance of a minor event, a 5% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Gemini

Alright, my star-loving stormtroopers, buckle up! Your astrological commander is here with another interstellar bulletin. Now, don't go all 'C3PO-in-a-trash-compactor' on me, but the Moon has parked its celestial self in Gemini. Yes, you heard it right! That's not a Death Star, that's our beloved Moon! If you've ever wondered what it feels like to be a twin with yourself, well, this is your moment. The Moon is currently 392,201.824290853 km away (give or take a lightyear or two), nestled snuggly in Gemini's constellation. That's closer than Tatooine is to the nearest cantina, folks! Gemini's dual forces are going to have you feeling like you're stuck in a hyperspace jump. One minute you're Luke Skywalker, grappling with complex emotions and the next, you're chillin' like Han Solo, nonchalantly dodging asteroid fields. You might even find yourself suddenly fluent in over six million forms of communication... or, you know, just really good at trivia night. But remember, much like a Jedi Knight doesn't rush his padawan training, don't rush yourself through these alternating phases. Embrace the experience! This is the cosmic equivalent of switching between Luke and Leia on a Super Star Wars game console. But don't get too comfortable in your Jedi robes, folks. This moon phase is about as stable as a landspeeder with a flat tire. In the next 24 hours, the Moon will be hopping faster than an Ewok on Endor, moving into the realm of Cancer. So, whether you're feeling more like a scruffy-looking nerf herder or a wise old Jedi Master, remember to go with the flow of the Force. Or in this case, the space-time continuum. May the stars be with you, always!

Mercury

Mercury is in Virgo

Mercury Is In Virgo

Alrighty, folks! Strap in and buckle up because Mercury is doing a cosmic hokey pokey in Virgo, and boy, is it going to be a wild ride! It's like a science experiment gone wonderfully right. Mercury, that cheeky little planet known for communication, has decided to set up camp in Virgo, a sign renowned for its attention to detail, getting things done with laser-like precision, and an uncanny ability to cut the fluff. Now, I know what you're thinking: "But didn't Mercury just get its retrograde groove on?" Yes, indeed, it did! But don't worry, this isn't a cosmic catastrophe, it's more like Mercury having a bit of a rest. Retrograde is just astrologer-ese for Mercury pulling on its PJs, grabbing a bowl of popcorn, and settling in for some Netflix and chill. During this time, our brains are going to be sharper than a cactus in a balloon shop. We're going to be slicing through nonsense like a hot knife through butter, ditching the sugar-coating and getting straight to the point. It's like getting upgraded from a flip phone to the latest smartphone. Welcome to the future, folks! This is a fantastic time for productivity. Think of it as the cosmic equivalent of drinking a quadruple espresso - we're going to be zooming through tasks and making headway in areas that have been stuck in a rut. It's like having a personal productivity coach whispering in your ear, except this one's got a stellar pedigree! But, like too many cookies with your coffee, there's a potential downside. We might become hyper-critical, focusing so much on the nitty-gritty that we forget to appreciate the bigger picture. It's all well and good to aim for perfection, but remember that even the cosmos has a few wonky stars. So, during Mercury's stay in Virgo, let's aim for progress, not perfection. Remember to sprinkle a little stardust on your words before you let them fly. After all, even a truth bomb can have a soft landing! That's all from me, folks. Stay groovy and remember: the sky's not the limit when there are footprints on the moon!

Starcast Alert: Venus In Leo

Alright, space fans, lean in and listen up! We've got a celestial rave happening up there. Our Star of the Show? The lovely Venus, who's decided to shimmy into Leo's territory. Now, I don't know about you, but when Venus pulls up her party socks, things can get a little wild here on Earth. It's like a cosmic game of charades where we're all acting out our best telenovela scenes.

Expect your love life to go from 0 to 'Titanic movie ending' real quick. Leo, that fiery lion, ain't about subtlety. It's grand gestures galore! So, Hope you've got your binoculars handy because we're about to be shouting declarations of love from rooftops. Just make sure you're not on the wrong rooftop, folks, because jealousy can also sneak in as an uninvited guest.

And let me tell you, when Venus is in Leo, forget about being liked or appreciated - we're aiming for full-blown adoration status. It's like everyone's got their own fan club and if you're not center stage, well, let's just say the sidelines aren't where the party's at.

Now, bear in mind, Leo might be all about the fun and games, but it's also the King of Drama. So, if you're feeling a bit neglected, you might find yourself stirring up some interstellar storm just to grab the spotlight again. But remember, folks, this isn't a solo journey - it's a cosmic dance. Don't forget to bring your partner along.

What about the moolah, you ask? Well, while Venus is in Leo, money is like rocket fuel. It's about making you feel like you're on top of the Milky Way. And Leo, being the extravagant sign it is, loves a bit of glitz and glam. So, don't be surprised if your bank account takes a hit. But hey, what's a few extra zeroes when you're feeling like a zillion bucks, right?

So, buckle up, earthlings! Venus in Leo is here to add some technicolor to your life. Remember, a life without a dash of cosmic fun, is like Pluto without its heart-shaped glacier – simply unimaginable!

Mars Is In Libra

Alright, cosmic voyagers, get ready for some interstellar news: Mars has just set up camp in Libra's territory. And if you know anything about Mars, it's like that cousin who shows up uninvited to your parties, but somehow makes them even more fun. Now, this Mars guy is quite the go-getter, always pushing and shoving his way to achieve his goals. But Libra? Oh, Libra is the zen yoga instructor who gently guides you towards balance and peace. So, what happens when these two cross paths? Well, it's a bit like when Spock met Captain Kirk -- a clash of wills, but ultimately a fabulous team. You see, when Mars struts into Libra's chill lounge, we all start caring a whole lot more about our relationships. It’s like we suddenly found ourselves in an episode of ‘Friends’ and we’re all Ross trying to make it work with Rachel. We're not interested in picking fights or impulsively running into battles. Who needs that drama when we can have peace and love, right? Anger and arguments? Out the window! Mars is wearing Libra's rose-colored glasses, and let me tell you, they are quite flattering. But beware, my celestial comrades, this also means we're more likely to sweep our problems under the galactic rug. We'd rather pretend everything's as perfect as a supernova than face any dark matter. But here's the trick - use this time for diplomacy. Channel your inner Picard and tackle those difficult topics with grace and love. It's not about avoiding the black holes, it's about navigating them safely. Libra, being the cosmic judge Judy, will also push us to fight for justice. This is the time to stand up for what's right and maintain balance in the universe. Just think of yourself as a superhero in a cosmic comic book. One small warning though: Mars and Libra together might make you feel like a cat standing in front of two identical doors, unable to decide which one to go through. Mars wants action, Libra wants careful consideration. It's like trying to choose between Star Trek and Star Wars – impossible! But remember, whether you're making first contact or choosing which lightsaber color suits you, as long as you're acting with love, intention, and fairness, you're on the right path. So, buckle up, my fellow space explorers, for a journey of relationships, diplomacy and balance. Mars in Libra is here, and

Jupiter is in Taurus

Jupiter Is In Taurus

Well, my cosmic comrades, it seems that Jupiter has sauntered into the domain of Taurus, and trust me when I say, this is a bigger deal than the time Spock found out he had a half-brother. Jupiter in Taurus is kind of like when you take the brainy kid from your high school science club and put him in charge of the homecoming dance. Suddenly, all those complex theories about quantum mechanics are being used to organize the perfect balloon drop. So, what does this mean for you? Well, my dear space travelers, it's time to get grounded. Taurus is the zodiac’s most inert sign, which is just a fancy way of saying it's as stubborn as a mule in a mud pit. But don't fret. This isn't a bad thing. In fact, it's a chance to dig in your heels and make some serious progress on those pie-in-the-sky dreams you've been harboring. Think of Jupiter in Taurus as your personal life coach, the Yoda to your Luke Skywalker. It's the push you need to turn your dreams into reality, one to-do list at a time. And let's not forget the money factor. Jupiter is like the Bill Gates of the zodiac and Taurus is all about the Benjamins. So, if you've been dreaming about rolling in dough like Scrooge McDuck, now's the chance to review your financial standing and look for opportunities to grow your wealth. But beware, my dear cosmic explorers, with great power comes great responsibility. Taurus likes the finer things in life and has a hard time saying "no." So, while Jupiter might be encouraging you to expand, try to avoid going full-on Galactus and consuming everything in sight. So, buckle up space cadets! With Jupiter in Taurus, it's going to be one heck of a cosmic ride. Remember to stay grounded, focus on your goals, and above all, keep looking up!

Saturn in Pisces: The Cosmic Dad Visit You Didn't Ask For

Alright, folks. I've got some intergalactic news for you. Saturn, aka the Universe's strict dad, has decided to spend some time in the dreamy realm of Pisces. Now before you throw a cosmic tantrum about your privacy, let me tell you why this might not be as dreadful as it sounds.

Saturn is basically that old school teacher who used to make you sweat bullets during surprise tests, but ultimately shaped you into a responsible adult. When Saturn is in Pisces, it's like having a life coach with a celestial twist. Perfect time to dust off those dreams of becoming the next J.K. Rowling or Elon Musk (minus the Twitter drama) and actually make a blueprint for them.

Oh, and just a heads up. Saturn being in Pisces is not exactly a cosmic beach party. It's more like a surprise visit by the tax auditor. Saturn will question every little starry-eyed dream you have. But hey! Instead of putting up a "No Trespassing" sign, maybe try inviting Saturn in for a cup of cosmic tea. Trust me, his advice is like that bitter medicine you hated as a kid, but it works wonders.

Now, Pisces rules over dreams and sleep, so you might find yourself tossing and turning at night. Before you reach for that bottle of melatonin, remember this is a great time to cultivate inner calm. Meditate, take a walk with Mother Nature, breathe deeply, or even take a nap (but keep a dream journal!). Maybe even hit the hay a bit earlier than usual. Why? Because we need to give our minds a break from the 24/7 Netflix binge session.

So, my dear stargazers, remember, while Saturn in Pisces can feel a little like an unexpected pop quiz, it's really just a way to help us bring our dreams down to Earth. So, grab your telescope, your dream journal, and maybe some soothing chamomile tea. Let's ride this cosmic wave together.

Uranus's Big, Nerdy Adventure in Taurus

Alright, fellow star gazers! Grab your telescopes, your pocket protectors, and strap on those Birkenstocks because we're about to embark on a celestial rollercoaster ride. That's right, our buddy Uranus has decided to take a seven-year sabbatical in the cozy, comfort-loving sign of Taurus. For the record, that's approximately 2878671904.202411652km away from us (not that I'm counting). Oh, and did I mention it's doing this little jig in retrograde? Talk about shaking things up!

Poor Taurus, who loves its routines like a cat loves a cardboard box, is about to get a cosmic wake-up call. Imagine someone flipping your favourite recliner while you're still sitting in it - yeah, that kind of change. But trust me, as a seasoned astrologer and part-time chaos theorist, I can assure you that these changes are going to be like a software update: annoying at first but ultimately for the better.

Now, Taurus is the Warren Buffet of the zodiac, always having an eye for the money. So, with Uranus pulling the strings, prepare for some serious financial revolution. We're talking new forms of currency (Bitcoin, anyone?), potential banking overhauls, and maybe even a shake-up in the housing and stock markets. In other words, buckle up, Wall Street!

On the home front, Uranus in Taurus is like that hipster friend who convinces you to ditch your smartphone for a week or to go on a minimalist living experiment. It's all about breaking free from the chains of materialism. Debt, taxes, credit card interest, rent, mortgages - they're about as welcome as a skunk at a garden party. The goal here is to redefine our relationship with money and possessions. Think of it as a Marie Kondo-style tidying up, but for your wallet.

So, folks, despite our natural instinct to resist change (I see you, Taurus), let's remember that Uranus, our celestial liberator, is here to help us level up. Digging our heels in won't stop the tide - it'll just get our socks wet. Change is inevitable, and if navigated wisely, it can lead to greater stability. So, let's embrace it, shall we

Neptune Is In Pisces

Neptune's Piscean Party

Alright, star gazers, hold onto your telescopes because this Neptune-In-Pisces shindig is about to get real. You know, "real" as in "let's all levitate off the ground and merge with the cosmos kind of real". So, get your cosmic sunglasses on because Neptune's doing his mystical disco dance in Pisces, and it's turning up the volume on our empathic antennas.

Neptune's doing the backstroke in the Piscean ocean, giving us this weird X-ray vision where we see beyond the petty squabbles, beyond the "he said, she said", and straight into the heart of unity. It’s like Captain Kirk suddenly realizing that Tribbles are not a menace, but simply hairy stress balls from outer space. It’s illuminating!

This cosmic alignment is screaming at us in Klingon to look at how we can add our own unique spice to the universal soup. We've all got these amazing gifts (and I'm not just talking about the ability to recite the entire Star Trek series word-for-word…though that is impressive).

Now's the time, my celestial comrades, to take that alien yoga class you've been eyeing or set up a shrine to your favorite science fiction author. Neptune's swirling energy is like a cosmic espresso shot, giving us the confidence to share our quirky passions with the world. Just remember, folks, Neptune isn't just a distant gas giant; it’s our cosmic cheerleader, pom-poms and all.

So, grab your tricorders and let's boldly go where no man has gone before...into a universe united under the banner of Neptune in Pisces! Engage!

Pluto is in Capricorn

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Hello, Star Gazers and Cosmic Comedians! If you're feeling a little bit like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place, don't worry - it's just Pluto hanging out in Capricorn. That's right folks, the misunderstood planet-not-planet (still a touchy subject for some of us) is doing its thing in the sign of the celestial goat. Now, let's break this down in Sci-Fi terms. Imagine if Spock suddenly got promoted and had to run the entire Starship Enterprise. Efficiency? Check. Laser-focused on tasks? Double check. Tolerance for Bones' sarcastic banter? Hmm, not so much. That's sort of what we're dealing with here. Pluto and Capricorn together are like that super-smart friend who helps you solve complex equations but will not tolerate your cat videos during study time. They’re all about success, power and getting things done. And speaking of getting things done, Pluto is also encouraging us to Marie Kondo our lives. It's asking us to look at our patterns and behaviours and ask, "Do these spark joy? Or are they more like those old socks with holes I've been holding onto for sentimental reasons?" It's time for some cosmic spring cleaning, my friends. But remember, this isn't the Hulk smashing through walls. This is more like Doctor Who carefully rewiring the Tardis. Be deliberate in what you destroy as you create. So while Pluto is doing the cha-cha in retrograde, let's use this time to level up. Yes, it might be a bit like trying to solve a Rubik’s cube in zero gravity, but hey, who doesn't love a challenge? Remember, stars don't force, they invite. So, take the invitation, put on your favorite lab coat or tie-dye shirt, and let’s dance to the music of the cosmos. And when in doubt, always ask yourself: "What would Commander Jeffrey Sinclair do?"

The Sun

The Sun

Sun Square Moon

You must balance your emotions with your individuality. You may have difficulties today dealing with the opposite sex, authority figures or family members. Ego confrontations over emotional issues are likely to be the cause. Vitality may be low today, so keep stress to a minimum. Try to understand others' points of view before expressing your own. Get in touch with your true feelings. Emotional impulses may interfere with objective and good judgment. What people who were born with Sun square Moon in their natal charts want and what they need are in conflict. The Sun square Moon aspect is similar to the Sun opposition Moon aspect in this sense, but there are very notable differences. Whereas the struggle between wants and needs is mostly played out on the inside and through significant relationships with Sun opposition Moon people, Sun square Moon people tend to confront obstacles that come from the outside. In truth, the struggle is within, as it is a case of being “one’s own worst enemy”. There can be a tendency to attract challenging situations into the life as an unconscious attempt to recreate the tension of early childhood. As well, specific habits and attitudes can hamper their progress in life. These people generally have a need to achieve and accomplish something important, and they act out their internal struggle along the way. For whatever reason, these people didn’t feel needed or accepted. The clash between their parents or parent figures, if indeed there was one, made them feel unaccepted for who they were, and there can be a very real drive to prove themselves to the world (and/or to the parents). The parents may not have simply been opposite personalities, as is the case with Sun opposition Moon. It is more likely that their relationship was a continual struggle. Sun square Moon individuals internalized the tension in the cosmic air that they were born into, and felt out of place as a result. In some cases, they literally felt unwanted by one or both parents. Even if the parents didn’t clash, the early life was likely to have been over-stimulating and tense, causing the child to feel insecure. These people experience a struggle between their need for nurture and their need for independence. When they get the autonomy that they seem to crave, they feel unsupported by others. When they receive the support they crave, they feel smothered. This internal clash is most apparent in the relationships they form, especially in the first half of their lives when they may not be aware of these patterns. Confrontations and challenges are frequent–not just with romantic partners, but also on the job, with friends, and so forth. However, these people have a lot of drive and spunk. They are resilient creatures who have faced conflict and who have survived it. Although they face a struggle with fluctuating energy, they are motivated to accomplish something. Ideally, they learn through experience to accomplish something for themselves rather than to prove their worth to others. Some Famous People with Sun Square Moon: Geena Davis, Michael Douglas, Ricky Martin.People born with a Sun-Moon tension can spend much of their lives struggling to balance the principles of the Sun and the Moon within their personalities, and will bring this struggle to some degree into their relationships. The urge to form meaningful relationships is generally powerful, but relationships can be as much of a struggle to these natives as the inner conflict is to themselves. This inner conflict occurs with the square, opposition, and quincunx. The desire to find meaningful relationships is stronger than it is when the natal Sun and Moon form a sextile or trine, and early relationships in particular can be challenging until the stressful aspects are recognized as an inner tension.A stressful Sun-Moon aspect seems to imprint the native with the (often unconscious) expectation that relationships can very easily fail, and the natives will be especially aware of conflicts in partnership, taking them to heart. The upside of this natal conflict is found in this sensitivity itself! Those with a Sun-Moon opposition, in particular, are generally willing to work out problems in a relationship due to their acute awareness and sensitivity to the conflicts that arise in their partnerships. However, if they face a partner who denies the problems exist in the first place, as in the example above, they can easily become frustrated. This is because learning and growing through relationships is a basic urge – so basic that it is a need. These natives are learning about themselves through their relationships, and need partners who are willing to be a part of that process. Sun square Moon suggests an internal “war” between two equally powerful desires: the desire for emotional commitment and the desire for autonomy. The native can be quite defensive and even belligerent with others, and often over-sensitive, which can take its toll in personal relationships. Partners may complain that the native often seems to be spoiling for a fight, and relationships can be turbulent until the native learns to compromise.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.

Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
