Solar activity continued at low levels this period as C-class flares were observed from multiple regions on the disk. The largest flare of the period, a C4.1/Sf flare at 24/2214 UTC, originated from Region 3405 (N09W61, Hsx/alpha). Region 3413 (N10E46, Eki/beta) remained a single spot group as the additional trailer spots dissipated during the past 24 hours. It was, however, the most magnetically complex spot group, and continued to develop trailer and intermediate spots. Region 3415 (S09E49, Dko/beta) was the largest group on the disk, yet only produced B- and C-class flares. The remaining numbered sunspot regions were unremarkable. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is high, making retrograde effects significantly increased!

The solar wind environment reflected a mostly background regime through midday. Just after 24/1200 UTC, total field strength began to increase, going from around 5 nT to just under 10 nT. Bz was generally north to near-neutral before deflecting southward to ~7 nT and becoming variable between +/- 8 nT. Wind speeds averaged near 410 km/s before increasing to around 450 km/s, and eventually peaking near 525 km/s. The phi angle remained in a mostly negative orientation until just after 24/1700 UTC. These enhancements are likely attributed to a CIR ahead of the onset of a positive polarity CH HSS.

There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 5% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Sagittarius

Alright, star gazers! Grab your telescopes, your astrolabe if you’re feeling extra vintage, and prepare yourself for a cosmic giggle because the Moon - yes, our lovely, cheese-like celestial neighbor - has decided to bunk up with Sagittarius. Now, if you didn't know, the distance from us to the moon is a whopping 378909.005822039km. That's exactly the same as stacking 94,727,251.4555 bananas. I mean, who wouldn't want a banana tower reaching all the way to the moon? Just imagine the monkey astronauts! Buckle up, folks, because when the Moon is canoodling with Sagittarius, things are about to get adventurous, expansive, and a tad bit philosophical. If you find yourself suddenly craving exotic food or pondering why socks keep disappearing in the washing machine, well, you know who to blame. But fret not, my dear Astro-enthusiasts. This is a time of expansion and growth. It’s like science class mixed with a dash of Indiana Jones. You might even feel an urge to delve into quantum physics, invent a new language or perhaps debate the plausibility of Schrödinger's cat existing in a parallel universe where it’s both a mega pop star and the president. So, strap on your astro-boots, my friends! It's time to leap towards the unknown, chase after curiosity, and maybe even catch a few star-dusted dreams. Remember, in the grand cosmic joke, we're the punchline that keeps the universe chuckling. So let’s enjoy the ride, and don’t forget to wave at the moon. It's closer than you think!

Mercury

Mercury in Virgo: The Precisionist's Paradise

Hold on to your pocket protectors, star gazers! Mercury has made a cosmic leap into Virgo, and it's like Sheldon Cooper just walked into a Star Trek convention - he's right at home and loving every minute. This is a period where our minds become as sharp as a Vulcan's ears, and our speech? Let's just say you'll be cutting through the clutter like a lightsaber through butter.

Why waste time sugar-coating words when you could be nibbling on the juicy facts instead? Virgo is the Marie Kondo of the zodiac, joyfully tossing out unnecessary details and keeping only what sparks intellectual joy. As Mercury moonwalks its way through Virgo (Yes, it's in retrograde, but doesn't everything seem to be these days?), our knack for analyzing information could make Sherlock Holmes blush.

Productivity is about to hit warp speed, and while it might feel as thrilling as watching paint dry in real-time, the potential progress is akin to upgrading from dial-up to broadband - huge! Kiss those dead-end ideas and circular conversations goodbye. It's all about laser focus on details and useful information now.

But, like a poorly executed science experiment, there can be side effects. Beware of morphing into a hyper-critical Hulk. Sure, discernment is a superpower, but with Mercury in Virgo, we may find faults faster than a quantum computer solves equations. We may even start nitpicking ourselves or unintentionally insult others with our brutal honesty. It's time to channel your inner diplomat and remember that tact is as vital as fact. Yes, even if it means resisting the urge to point out that your friend's Star Wars trivia is from the non-canon extended universe.

Remember folks, Mercury may be 102813824.859054238km away, but that doesn't mean it can't stir up some serious cosmic vibes. So, strap in, power up your mental shields, and prepare to embark on an interstellar journey of precision, productivity, and maybe a little too much perfectionism. Beam us up, Mercury!

Venus

Venus is in Leo

Venus is retrograde at 14 Leo 06' 50", moving backwards at 0.38 degrees per day, and is 46057533km away and receding.

Venus Is In Leo

Ladies, Gentlemen, and Interstellar Entities, fasten your asteroid belts because it's time for a cosmic roller coaster ride! Venus, our lovely lady of love, is currently throwing a fabulous party in the fiery sign of Leo. Now, I know your first question might be, "How can Venus throw a party if she's 46,035,107.455860920km away?" Well, my dear stargazers, that's where the magic of astrology comes in! When Venus struts her stuff in Leo, we all feel a little more... theatrical. It's like we've been cast as the lead in a romantic space opera, with a script full of dramatic monologues about love and longing. We're not just talking "I adore you" here, folks, we're talking "I would traverse the galaxy and grapple with a black hole for you!" kind of adoration. So, if you've been holding back on expressing your feelings, now is the time to let your heart roar. But, beware, my cosmic comrades! Venus in Leo doesn't do "low key". She's all about the glitz, glamour, and grand gestures. If you're not ready for the limelight, you might find yourself in a bit of a celestial conundrum. We're talking heady declarations of love one minute and melodramatic tantrums the next. It's like a supernova explosion of emotions! Now, let's talk about money. While Venus is in Leo, your bank account might start to resemble a black hole. You see, Leo loves luxury. They're the cosmic equivalent of a magpie, drawn to all things shiny and spectacular. So, don't be surprised if you find yourself spending a bit more on frocks and frills, or buying lavish gifts for your loved ones. But remember, just like a star can't shine without a bit of fusion, generosity can bring more joy than self-indulgence. So, folks, while Venus is in Leo, let's embrace the drama, splurge a little, and remember to express our love like a supernova explosion. After all, as the great Vulcan saying goes, "Infinite diversity in infinite combinations." Love boldly, love loudly, and most importantly, love theatrically.

Mars

Mars is in Virgo

Mars is prograde at 28 Vir 32' 02", moving at 0.64 degrees per day, and is 369233811km away and receding.

Mars Is In Virgo

Greetings, cosmic comrades! This is your favorite stargazing scientist, here with some interstellar intel that's hotter than a supernova. I'd like to wax poetic about the celestial disco currently happening up in our cosmic backyard. You see, Mars - yes, that Mars, the one named after the Roman god of war and not the chocolate bar - is currently hanging out in Virgo. Now, typically Mars is all about "just doing it" (no, not in the Nike slogan sense, but more like the Shia LaBeouf yelling sense). However, with Virgo in the mix, it's not just about doing it, it's about doing it efficiently. Think of it less like a frantic dash through a battlefield and more like a well-oiled Rube Goldberg machine. While Mars is vacationing in Virgo, we'll all find ourselves with a sudden knack for productivity. It's like we've collectively chugged an extra-large cup of cosmic coffee. We'll be trimming the fat from our work habits faster than you can say "efficiency." But it's not all work and no play, dear stargazers. Virgo also rules the 6th House of Health and Self-Improvement, which means you might feel an urge to put down the junk food and pick up a dumbbell. Yes, even you couch potatoes out there! And the best part? Thanks to Mars in Virgo's love for routine, these healthy habits are likely to stick around even when Mars has moved on. However, as with all things in life and the cosmos, there's a downside. Mars in Virgo has a tendency to make us a tad... critical. It's like suddenly everyone's turned into Simon Cowell. We may find ourselves nitpicking and getting riled up over minor inefficiencies. We might even turn this critical gaze inward, becoming overly self-critical. But, fear not! A little patience and self-love will help us navigate these cosmic waters. So, instead of worrying about what others are doing wrong, let's use this energy to focus on detail-oriented tasks. Budget balancing, future planning, job hunting, learning a new trade - now's the time to get it done. And remember, there's no better time for taking care of personal business or starting a project than when Mars is in Virgo. So strap in, stargazers. It's time to ride this cosmic wave of efficiency and channel your inner Marie Kondo. Let's do this

Jupiter

Jupiter is in Taurus

Jupiter is prograde at 15 Tau 24' 21", moving at 0.03 degrees per day, and is 685642184km away and approaching.

Jupiter Is In Taurus

Well, well, well, stargazers, prepare for some cosmic chuckles as Jupiter pirouettes into Taurus like a graceful hippie ballerina with an unexpected affinity for quantum physics. Jupiter, the big daddy of wisdom and deep thoughts, is currently hanging out in Taurus, the zodiac’s most laid-back, 'Netflix and chill' sign. Now, this might sound like a real sci-fi meet-cute, but it's actually a cosmic wake up call. This celestial combo is whispering, "Hey, you! Yeah, you with the existential dread and the unfulfilled dreams! The answers you're seeking aren't hiding in some far-off galaxy. They're chillin' in your own cerebral cortex." While Jupiter is in Taurus, it's like a supercharged motivational speaker, pushing us to make those wild dreams a reality. We'll find ourselves energized to make practical, achievable to-do lists. And not just any to-do lists, but the kind that would make a Vulcan nod in approval. You'll feel a sense of purpose, ticking off items one by one, as you stride towards your end goal like Neil Armstrong taking his first step on the moon. Now, let's talk about the elephant, or rather, the bull in the room. Taurus is notorious for indulging in life's pleasures, and when Jupiter, the planet of expansion, waltzes in, we may find ourselves confusing wants with needs. It's like suddenly deciding you need a personal robot butler because washing dishes is SO last century. So, be warned my fellow space cadets, it's essential to keep our impulses in check during this transit, lest we find ourselves trying to justify the purchase of a gold-plated hoverboard. But it's not all cosmic cautionary tales. With Jupiter's penchant for good luck, and Taurus being synonymous with wealth, this could be your chance to hit the cosmic jackpot. So, while you're busy making those practical plans, why not throw in a little financial growth strategy? Who knows, you might just end up laughing all the way to the intergalactic bank. So buckle up, stargazers. With Jupiter in Taurus, we're in for a ride that's sure to be both enlightening and entertaining. Just remember to keep your feet on the ground, even as your head's in the stars. Stay groovy!

Saturn

Saturn is in Pisces

Saturn is retrograde at 03 Pis 59' 34", moving backwards at 0.08 degrees per day, and is 1311039418km away and approaching.

Saturn Is In Pisces

Greetings, fellow space travelers! Prepare your nerdy hearts and minds for some galactic guidance because guess what? Saturn is in Pisces and boy, do we have some stardust to sift through! Now, I know you may be thinking, "Saturn in Pisces? That's like mixing peanut butter with pickles!" But remember, my friends, even the Doctor loves a good paradox. And let me tell you, this cosmic combo is about as paradoxical as the TARDIS being bigger on the inside. So buckle up, because we're about to take a trip to the deep end of the cosmos. Saturn, or as I like to call it, the Cosmic Taskmaster, is currently doing the backstroke in the dreamy waters of Pisces, and it's more than 1.3 billion kilometers away (trust me, I did the math!). This is the perfect time to dust off those far-out dreams of yours. Yes, I'm talking about that novel you've been wanting to write or that quirky little business you've been dreaming of starting. Grab a notepad folks, because we're about to get a celestial coaching session for the ages. Now, don't let Saturn's stern reputation spook you. Sure, he might feel like that strict dad who insists on cleaning your room when all you want to do is blast off to another galaxy. But remember, underneath that icy exterior, he's just trying to help you turn those nebulous dreams into reality. So open the door, lend him your ear, and be prepared to take notes. His advice may be more insightful than you'd like to admit. Saturn's journey through Pisces may also stir up some cosmic insomnia. If you find yourself tossing and turning, remember, there's no need for panic. This is the universe's way of reminding you to cultivate inner peace. Meditate, take a moonlit stroll, or maybe even take a nap (but keep that dream journal handy!). And don't forget to get a full night's sleep - even Time Lords need their rest. So, dear stargazers, embrace this celestial mashup and make the most of what Saturn in Pisces has to offer. After all, as the Doctor would say, "The universe is big. It's vast and complicated and ridiculous. And sometimes—very rarely—impossible things just happen and we call them miracles." Now, isn't that just the most poetic horoscope you've ever heard?

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is prograde at 23 Tau 04' 09", moving at 0 degrees per day, and is 2910340591km away and approaching.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Greetings from the cosmic front lines, my interstellar amigos! We've got Uranus, that unpredictable old chap, sidling up in Taurus, and it's about to make things as exciting as a quantum physics convention on a Friday night. Taurus, you know, is that friend who always orders the same thing at the restaurant. Chicken fried rice, no surprises, thank you very much. But Uranus is like that zany waiter who says, "Today, we're going to try the Rambutan Flambe." Suddenly there's a flaming fruit on your table, and you're wondering what in Einstein's name is going on. But hold onto your spectacles, folks! This isn't just a celestial circus act. While Taurus is busy counting pennies and tucking them away in their piggy banks, Uranus is about to flip the entire financial system like a late-night infomercial pancake maker. We're talking about radical changes that would make even Stephen Hawking's head spin. New currencies, banking revamps, and even stock market shenanigans could be on the horizon. On a personal level, it's high time we gave our money matters a good spring cleaning. Debt, taxes, credit card interest, rent - these are the black holes that swallow our hard-earned cash. Uranus, in its infinite wisdom, is here to liberate us from this fiscal dungeon. So, buckle up, my friends! It's going to be a ride as thrilling as a Star Trek marathon. But remember, as every good Trekkie knows, resistance is futile. This cosmic shakeup may seem as daunting as a calculus exam, but I assure you, it's going to land us in a better place, somewhere as stable and secure as Bill Nye's lab coat pocket. And remember, as we surf this cosmic wave, the changes we embrace now will stick around longer than that embarrassing high school yearbook photo. So let's boldly go where no man, woman, or Taurus has gone before!

Neptune

Neptune is in Pisces

Neptune is retrograde at 26 Pis 56' 24", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 4336647760km away and approaching.

Neptune Is In Pisces

Well, buckle up your astrological seatbelts, space cadets! We are warping straight into a Neptunian retrograde in Pisces that is about as subtle as a Klingon at a Vulcan poetry reading. Neptune, the mystical planet often mistaken to be just a giant blue marble, has decided to throw a cosmic pool party in the deep-sea of Pisces. Now, this is not your typical "bring a six-pack and a floatie" kind of shindig. Oh no. This is a deep dive into the oceanic depths of our emotional intelligence, where even an Aquatic Lifeform Analysis program couldn't predict what we might discover. This cosmic cocktail of Neptune's universal unity punch mixed with Piscean emotional intuition is like the universe offering us a pair of those cool x-ray specs from the back of comic books, except these actually work. They allow us to see past the petty squabbles about who used the last of the coffee in the replicator, or why Ensign Kim keeps playing that same tune on his clarinet. The cosmic fog lifts, revealing a golden path to unity and acceptance. This planetary party invites each of us to ask ourselves, "What can I bring to the universal potluck?" Maybe you've got an amazing recipe for deconstructed Klingon gagh, or maybe you're just really good at doing the dishes afterwards. Whatever it is, the universe wants you to bring it to the table. Now is the perfect time to boldly go where you haven't gone before - whether that's exploring new spiritual avenues, setting up a shrine to the Sacred Orb of Prophecy in your quarters, or simply sharing your unique gifts with the rest of the crew. Remember, the guiding light of Neptune in Pisces is with you, like a trusty tricorder on an away mission, making sure you don't stumble over any unexpected alien lifeforms. So, gear up space adventurers, because the Neptunian retrograde in Pisces is one cosmic rollercoaster that promises to be funny, enlightening, and possibly a little bit wet. But hey, isn't that just the nature of exploring the final frontier?

Pluto

Pluto is in Capricorn

Pluto is retrograde at 28 Cap 22' 14", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 5084687128km away and receding.

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Greetings, celestial navigators! Now, brace yourselves because we're about to embark on an intergalactic journey to the most misunderstood ice dwarf: Pluto. Yes, folks, despite being demoted from planet status - which we all know was a major cosmic scandal - Pluto still holds a lot of sway in astrological circles. As it happens, our tiny friend is currently vacationing in Capricorn, approximately 5,084,653,289.449485779 kilometers away. Don't worry, you won't need to gas up the spaceship. I've calculated the distance, so you don't have to. You can thank me later. Now, Pluto and Capricorn together are like that over-achieving cousin we all have. You know, the one who climbed Mount Everest, wrote a best-selling novel, and invented a new type of eco-friendly man bun all before breakfast? They're both laser-focused on success and power like a Trekkie at a Star Trek convention. And let's not forget that Pluto is currently in retrograde, meaning it's moonwalking its way through Capricorn. However, while our power couple is busy taking over the world, they have the tendency to forget about little things like compassion and tolerance. So, while they're rocking the cosmic boat, beware of turning into an idea tyrant. Remember, folks, diversity is the spice of life, and no one likes a one-flavor universe. Pluto's main mission, aside from proving it's still relevant, is to encourage us to ditch our negative patterns. Kind of like spring cleaning, but for the soul. This isn't just about dusting off your emotional bookshelves though; we're talking constructive destruction here. It's time to Marie Kondo your life - if it doesn't spark joy, thank it for its service and send it packing. So, dear stargazers, remember to be deliberate in what you destroy as you create. And remember to stay humble, or else you might find yourself demoted like our friend Pluto. Happy star-gazing and keep those telescopes pointed upwards!

The Sun

Sun Opposite Saturn

You may become involved in conflicts between your need for self-expression and your duties to others. The key is to find a balance. You may tend to be selfish today and many problems can be alleviated by thinking of others first. A feeling of loneliness may come upon you today, but it's probably just that, a feeling. It's not the true state of things. Do your duty, meet your obligations, then you have every right to start thinking of yourself. Those people born under a challenging aspect between the Sun and Saturn face a fair number of challenges in their lives, especially in the first half of life, in which their attempts to express their will are thwarted. There can be a persistent feeling that they don’t get what they want more often than other people around them. They can feel unlucky. Attempts to control their environment, and sometimes others, may be frequent. These people fear their own feelings of inadequacy! They want to be considered accomplished and important people, and when they face obstacles, they don’t always want to believe that they are their own worst enemy. They long to be considered important in the eyes of the world, yet they harbor fear of success at the same time. They take failures and minor setbacks to heart, and some practically beat themselves up over them. Self-awareness to the point of real self-consciousness is characteristic of Sun-Saturn challenging aspects. The truth is, nobody holds a microscope over them, except for themselves. A little setback or a faux pas needn’t be analyzed to death. Fingers needn’t be pointed. No, they didn’t make a spectacle of themselves when they made a mistake. They need to stop worrying about always being right, or appearing suave and accomplished. When they ease the pressure they put on themselves, they find that they don’t face as many brick walls. It is very much about what they feel they deserve. Deep down inside, if they let themselves truly believe that they deserve happiness and peace of mind, they will find it.When Saturn is closely connected to a personal planet, there is usually an effect of censoring going on with whatever is ruled by the planet it joins by aspect. For example, with the Moon, which rules emotions, the natives feel the need to censor their emotions and feelings, scanning them for what is thought to be frivolous. With Saturn and the Sun, there is much self-censoring going on. “I shouldn’t..” is a common censoring mechanism with these people. They feel they shouldn’t want too much. When they express egotism of any form, some part of them feels guilty. As the Sun rules our conscious mind, it does enough censoring on its own. It is the “adult” within us. Saturn, on the other hand, is more like the “parent” within us. We need parents to guide us when we are children, and to some degree as adults, but for the most part, we don’t need to be censored indefinitely–something that seems to be the case with Saturn-Sun hard aspects, except that the censoring and parenting is coming from within.Ideally, these people eventually learn that the standards they set for themselves are too high, and that may be the reason they seem to hit brick walls. They recognize that many of the restrictions they face in life are often self-created, born of a defeatist attitude. They should be aware of the tendency to choose the hardest paths to travel and/or to deny themselves some of life’s pleasures. Working on recognizing and managing these tendencies will help them to avoid the pitfalls of this combination. These people have a sarcastic sense of humor, a keen intelligence, and the ability to apply caution and strategy. The vitality may suffer, and troubles with the bones, teeth, and circulation may surface. Some Famous People with Sun in Hard Aspect to Saturn: Squares – Harry Belafonte, Wynonna Judd (Sun square Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto), Salvador Dali, Marilyn Manson, Oprah Winfrey, Salvador Dali, Virginia Woolf, Ben Stiller, Alec Guiness. Oppositions – Jim Morrison, Charlie Sheen, Kurt Russell.

Mercury

Mercury Trine Uranus

Your thinking today is ingenious, original, clever, sharp, and magnetic. Electricity is in your head and probably the rest of your body. You are full of nervous energy, but it is the type that can help you accomplish more. New and exciting opportunities may come about today through travel, conversations with others, or through new reading material. Go exploring. You are open to new ideas, and come up with your own fair share of unique perspectives yourself. You have a technical bent and might take special interest in computers, technology, and science. Your intuition is very strong and mostly leads you in the right direction. You have a friendly, tolerant, and unprejudiced manner. You avoid making unfair judgments, being hypocritical, or stereotyping. You are very truthful and abhor modes of thinking that are biased and narrow. You are resourceful, witty, and quick to grasp and understand new subjects. Your thinking is often quite naturally outside of the box and very quick, and it can be baffling to you when you observe others who don’t get to the same conclusions as you in half the time. Still, you require much space and freedom to do your own thinking, and you don’t take kindly to anyone trying to force-feed you information or opinions. You are at your mental best and most cooperative when you have had the chance to find your own inspiration, and you easily feel hypocritical if you don’t–a feeling that doesn’t sit well with you one bit.The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mercury and Uranus have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Some Famous People with Mercury in Harmonious Aspect to Uranus: Sextiles – Lawrence Welk, John Steinbeck, Donald Sutherland, Erik Satie, Martin Sheen; Trines – Sheena Easton, Farrah Fawcett, Tracey Ullman, Marilyn Manson

Venus

Venus Square Jupiter

You will probably overindulge yourself today, with regrets later. This is true both with eating and spending. A distinct laziness may overcome you and you will want to be pampered. Self-discipline is needed in order to avoid trouble now or later. Others may think you are too spoiled. Don't procrastinate. These people are big-hearted and warm, with open hearts and a tendency to want to give a lot to the people they love. They can have some problems with following through on their promises, however–not because of any ill intent, but because they sometimes overestimate their personal capabilities, and want to do more, and give more, than is actually possible. At distinct times in their lives, they have a tendency to live beyond their means. They need to be cautious about the tendency to feel overly-optimistic or overly protected. Borrowing from their future and overdoing their indulgence in pleasures is a marked tendency. While people with the conjunction, sextile, or trine between Venus and Jupiter express their bigheartedness, tolerance, generosity, and magnanimity in a generally constant and natural manner, these same expressions for those people with the square, opposition, and quincunx between these planets tend to be problematic at times. Their need for growth, good humor, and fun in their relationships is marked, as is their disdain for insincerity. However, they may attract just those kinds of people simply because they are looking so hard for these traits that they assign them onto undeserving people!Moderation is the most important, and perhaps challenging, lesson in these people’s lives.Interpretation sample from the Your Spiritual Path report — Your sense of form and harmony extend into the important relationships of your life. You seek a strong philosophical connection to match the physical passion. Faithfulness is a key factor if your relationship is to support your spiritual growth, and trust has to work both ways in the partnership. Some Famous People with the Venus in Hard Aspect to Jupiter: Squares – Jason Alexander, Pearl Buck, Julia Child, Joe Cocker, Sean Connery, Alice Cooper, Billy Corgan, e.e. Cummings, John Denver, Michael J. Fox, Andy Gibb, Linda Goodman, Jim Jones, Jessica Lange, David Lynch, Dolly Parton, Tom Paxton, Robert Redford, Lynn Redgrave, Oral Roberts, Maria Shriver, Britney Spears, Tina Turner, Jon Voight, Betty White; Oppositions – Drew Carey, Billy Ray Cyprus, Victor Hugo, Quincy Jones, Tom Selleck, Cat Stevens.

Mars

Mars Opposite Neptune

Your relationships with people today may involve the quality of deception. Either you are not being honest with them or they are not being honest with you. Be careful of people who come to you with hard luck stories and ask for your help. They may really need your help or they may just be trying to scam you. Use discrimination. Not everyone who asks for help deserves your help. It may be better to let them help themselves. Knowing the difference is one of the most difficult things to learn. Certainly do nothing today that isn't entirely above board or you will pay for it dearly later on. Honesty is the best policy. Misunderstandings can occur so mirror back to others what you understand them to have said and see if they agree with your interpretation. You may feel more sensitive today than usual. Don't feel bad if your ego feels bruised. Things may not be as they appear. This is a challenging position, as you have difficulty trusting in your ability to go after things that you want in a direct manner. It may also be that you have difficulty pinpointing what it is that you want, or that part of you doesn’t feel you deserve it due to a basic lack of self-confidence. You fear rejection as well as criticism, and often use roundabout means to go after what you want.Your imagination is so powerful that it can be hard to trust your instincts. You easily imagine things going wrong, just as you easily fantasize about good things! Your desire nature is strong yet also very suggestible. You’re attracted to mysteries and intrigue. Sexual experimentation is likely, as you are forever addicted to sensuality and unusual or perhaps even what many would consider perverted sexual scenarios. However, your sensual appetite might be much like a bottomless pit, and you could find yourself forever in a state of wanting more, tiring of regular sexual scenarios quickly, and endlessly searching for the next sensation. If an addiction to fantasy is present, you can find yourself constantly chasing a new and more complicated fantasy. It is only when you get into touch with your heart and discover your true desires that you realize that sensations are merely sensations–not deeply satisfying or fulfilling.Fears of sexual inadequacy can be great with this position, and you may either deny yourself as a result, or overcompensate, seeking out experiences in which you are pretty much assured positive feedback. Some of you will experience both of these extremes in your lifetime. I have a client with this position who has a “trophy” wife, and she often denies him, and even belittles him, on a sexual level. He accepts this but “gets her back” behind her back, having serial affairs with women who are not considered as attractive for whatever reason and with whom he attempts to reclaim his power. One of the interesting things about this position is that if you are involved in immoral activities, guilt has a way of cropping up in unusual ways, and could lead you on a self-destructive path–and you might even know that you’re heading that way, yet you compulsively follow that path. Part of you might want to get caught! You might, for example, know in your mind that doing something is risky, yet you compulsively do it anyhow, perhaps even finding the challenge invigorating.Although you can be very creative at keeping your motives and personal agenda hidden–in fact, many of you seem on the surface of things to be quite gentle and yielding–you might eventually become resentful if you feel the need to resort to sneakiness in order to get what you want out of life. This is one of the things that has struck me as the most common characteristics of Mars-Neptune people. It’s not that they don’t get angry or show that anger. However, many will give in to another’s desires more often than not, yet become resentful of that person who seems to have control over them. Some will give up their power to a partner, for example, often taking the role as the one who gives in or gives up things in order to make the other happy. However, resentment for this builds, and while people with harmonious Mars-Neptune aspects more easily yield to others without anger for doing so, those with hard Mars-Neptune aspects are more likely to feel stepped upon, and to retaliate in covert ways. If you do feel resentment for giving up your power to someone else, learn to avoid giving it up unless you truly understand that you are doing it for yourself, and not for someone else. Resentments have a way of building and distorting themselves into ugly matter if you don’t deal with them properly and directly. You are often passive-aggressive in your approach to others, and this can cause a lot of problems in your life. You are usually found chasing a dream… or a fantasy. The former is probably the better path.Somehow, others are bound to eventually sense that you are not to be trusted, and this is often for good reason! You may not like to admit this to yourself, as you may have built excuses for your deceptive or sneaky behavior. However, adopting a more direct and assertive approach to life is something that you should be working towards. You will need to get over your feelings of guilt when you do adopt this approach. Learning to take responsibility for your actions, and to avoid blaming others for failures, is important. At your worst, you can be disorganized in your approach to life, easily procrastinating and lacking follow-through when you do begin a task. Some of the most important lessons you need to learn in life are self-control, self-assertion, and trust in yourself. At your best, you are a creative person with a powerful imagination and great stores of compassion. Some Famous People with the Mars in Hard Aspect to Neptune: Squares – Ben Affleck, James Barber, Erma Bombeck, Jimmy Buffet, Barbara Bush, Sandra Dee, Melissa Etheridge, Eddie Fisher, Jodie Foster, Conan O’Brien, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Andy Warhol, Sharon Tate. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
