The Sun

A few mid-level C-class flares kept solar activity at low levels. The strongest event of the period was a C4.3 flare at 21/0753 UTC from an area just beyond the SE limb. Region 3404 (S11W33, Cao/beta) and newly numbered Region 3414 (S09E32, Cro/beta) both exhibited slight growth during the period, but were mostly inactive. Region 3403 (N26W75, Cso/beta) did manage to produce a C3.1 flare at 21/1238 UTC as it approached the western limb, but the majority of the flare activity was from the region just beyond the SE limb. The remaining numbered regions on the visible disk were mostly stable. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

The solar kp index is unsettled, with retrograde effects slightly enhanced. The solar wind speed is high, making retrograde effects significantly increased!

Solar wind parameters suggested the sustained, yet gradual declining influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Total magnetic field strength slowly decreased from 7 nT to 4 nT, Bz was at +/- 4 nT, and solar wind speeds decreased from a peak near 680 km/s to end the period around 540 km/s. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in the negative sector.

There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 5% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Scorpio

Great Scott! The moon has taken up residence in Scorpio, my dear celestial travelers! Now, the lunar distance from Earth is approximately 394,729.262766942 kilometers, give or take a cosmic millimeter. Don't ask me to convert that to miles, as I left my slide rule in my other time machine! Now, the Moon in Scorpio isn't just an astronomical event; it's a profound metaphysical phenomenon! It's like when my DeLorean hit 88mph, only instead of flux capacitors and jigawatts, we're dealing with emotions and intuition. Whoa, this is heavy! Deep, intense Scorpio doesn't do things by halves. There's no "kind of" or "maybe" with this sign. It's all or nothing, baby! It's like the difference between a hoverboard and a skateboard - both can get you there, but one does it with a lot more style and pizzazz. So, what does this mean for you? Well, brace yourself for some intense emotional revelations. You may find yourself compelled to dig into the mysteries of your own psyche, like a time-travelling archaeologist unearthing the secrets of the past. Don't be surprised if you discover a plutonium-powered engine of desire or a hidden vault of deep-seated fears. Remember, it's okay. It's all part of the journey. But hey, don't get too caught up in your emotional flux capacitor. Remember the future isn't written yet! No one's fate is set in stone, not even Marty McFly's. Use this lunar energy to confront your fears, embrace your desires, and shape your own timeline. Remember, the Moon in Scorpio isn't about causing a temporal paradox or altering the space-time continuum. It's about exploring the great unknown - and that, my friends, starts within you. So, buckle up, fire up those emotional engines, and let's see where this lunar journey takes us. We don't need roads...or do we? Until next time, happy cosmic voyaging!

Mercury is in Virgo

Mercury Is In Virgo

Alright, my celestial stargazers, let's get down to brass tacks, or should I say Mercury in Virgo. Now, you might be thinking, "Isn't Mercury that tiny rock that's forever doing the cha-cha around the sun?" Well, yes, my observant little human, but it's also our cosmic communication hotline, and right now, it's in Virgo. So what does that mean for us? I'm glad you asked!

Let's put it this way: if Mercury were a computer, it'd be one of those super-duper quantum ones, and Virgo is like the ultimate software update. It's time to defrag our minds, people! No more stammering, stuttering, or talking around in circles like a Dalek with a faulty navigation system. With Mercury in Virgo, it's all about precision, efficiency, and getting straight to the point. No more dilly-dallying! We're slicing through the fluff like a lightsaber through butter.

And productivity? Oh boy, we're talking productivity levels that would make even a Cyberman jealous. It's not going to be all rainbows and unicorns though. But, hey, who needs those when you've got a chance to make real progress? Just remember not to turn into a nitpicky little Sontaran. Yes, details matter, but don't let the quest for perfection turn you into a grumbling Grinch. Remember, it's all about balance.

So there you have it, my cosmic voyagers! Mercury in Virgo: The universe's way of saying, 'Buckle up, buttercup, it's time to get things done.' And remember, keep your sonic screwdrivers handy, you never know when you might need them!

Venus in Leo: The Force Awakens...in Your Love Life

Alright, folks, fasten your seatbelts! We're about to take a wild ride on the Millennium Falcon of Love as Venus shifts into Leo, the zodiac's spotlight-loving drama queen. Just like Han Solo, we're ready to announce our love to the galaxy...and let's hope we get a better response than Princess Leia's infamous "I know."

With Venus in Leo, we don't want to be just another rebel in the crowd; we want to be the Chewbacca to your Han Solo, the two moons of Tatooine to your Luke Skywalker – essentially, we crave to be adored. This is a time for grand Jedi gestures and risky lightsaber duels of passion. And if you're playing it safe like R2-D2, you might just beep and boop your way to solitude.

But beware, my fellow space travelers! Love isn't a calm intergalactic journey when Venus is in Leo. Like a cantina full of bounty hunters, it can turn dramatic real quick. If we aren't getting the admiration we feel we deserve, we might turn into a Sith Lord on a rampage. Remember, even in a galaxy far, far away, there's no "I" in "we." So, focus less on ruling the galaxy alone, and more on forming your own Rebellion of Love.

Now, let's talk Galactic Credits. With Venus in Leo, money becomes a means to an end, and that end is feeling like a billion-dollar Jedi. Leo craves the extravagant, so don't be surprised if you find yourself splurging on some shiny new droids or a fancy new lightsaber. But remember, true satisfaction comes from generosity. After all, who was happier – Scrooge McDuck or Santa Claus?

In conclusion, Venus in Leo is like a Star Wars movie marathon – colorful, thrilling, and a little bit chaotic. It can re-energize your relationships and remind you that life without fun is like a Wookiee without his roars. May the force be with you, always!

Mars Is In Virgo

Alright, stargazers and cosmic voyagers, fasten your seatbelts and adjust your pocket protectors! The red planet, Mars - no, not the candy bar, I'm talking about the celestial body - has decided to take a vacation in Virgo. And before you ask, no, this isn't an Airbnb situation. You see, Mars, our feisty little brother in the solar system, is the planet of action, of "get up and go." It's the espresso shot in your cosmic latte, if you will. Now, when Mars saunters into the realm of Virgo, the precise, organized and somewhat neurotic sign, things get interesting - like trying to build IKEA furniture without the instructions kind of interesting. Mars in Virgo is like a hyper-efficient personal assistant with a slight caffeine addiction. It's all about trimming down those unnecessary tasks and streamlining your life until it runs as smoothly as a freshly oiled bicycle chain. So, if you've been procrastinating on that Marie Kondo-inspired decluttering, now is the time to seize the day! But wait, there's more! Virgo also happens to be the health nut of the zodiac, so don't be surprised if you feel a sudden urge to swap those potato chips for a kale smoothie, or if your gym membership card sees more action than your Netflix subscription. And with Mars in Virgo's love for routines, these healthy habits might just stick around! However, beware! Just as you might get a tad irritable when your Wi-Fi is slow, Mars in Virgo can get a bit critical when things aren't as efficient as they could be. Patience may wear thin and you could find yourself nitpicking over the smallest details. Remember, nobody likes a grumpy gus, so try to cut yourself, and others, some slack. So, instead of getting caught up in what isn't perfect, use this cosmic energy to focus on tasks that need your attention. Balance your budget, plan your future, learn a new trade, or even start job hunting. Mars in Virgo wants you to be productive, so channel your inner nerd and get stuff done! Trust me, there's no better time to roll up your sleeves and dive into your personal projects than under the influence of Mars in Virgo. Let's make the most of this celestial alignment, folks!

Jupiter Is In Taurus

Alright ladies, gentlemen, and intergalactic beings, listen up! Jupiter, that gas-giant party animal, has parked its cosmic RV in the backyard of Taurus, and boy, does it have some stories to share! Jupiter, the celestial equivalent of a really wise old owl, is currently chilling out in Taurus, the zodiac's most stubbornly laid-back sign. It's like Yoda decided to take a vacation in the Shire - expect a lot less "do or do not" and a lot more "second breakfast." You see, when these two get together, it's less about seeking answers in the depths of the cosmos, and more about finding them in your favorite armchair. In other words, the spiritual wisdom you've been hunting for across the galaxy? Yeah, it's been sitting in your pocket the whole time, probably next to your half-eaten granola bar. Jupiter in Taurus isn't just a cosmic meet-and-greet, it's a golden ticket to making moves towards your dreams. It's kind of like having a life coach with the power of a planet and the determination of a bull. You'll feel the urge to make to-do lists longer than the Nile, and you'll have the perseverance to check off each item, one by one, until you realize your goal. Trust me, it's a "slow and steady wins the race" kind of vibe, but with a lot more cosmic energy. And speaking of energy, did I mention prosperity? With Jupiter being the zodiac's own lucky rabbit's foot, and Taurus famous for its love of bling, this could be your chance to strike it rich. So, it might be a good time to dust off those old lottery tickets or finally get around to inventing that time machine. But hold up, don't go spending all your future millions just yet. Taurus, after all, has a bit of a reputation for overindulgence – it's the zodiac sign most likely to order dessert before dinner. So, with Jupiter in town, there's a risk you might mistake your needs for wants. Remember, patience is key during this transit. Or as my grandma used to say, "don't put all your cosmic eggs in one basket." So, there you have it, folks! Jupiter in Taurus: a time of wisdom, prosperity, and potential over-indulgence. Sounds like a regular Tuesday, right? But with a bit more stardust.

Saturn in Pisces: Geek Edition

Alright space cadets, buckle up because we are going on a cosmic journey. Our interstellar destination? Saturn in Pisces. Now, before you start envisioning fish-shaped rings around the gas giant, let me clarify. The "Saturn in Pisces" thing is metaphorical, not literal. It's not like Saturn got bored and decided to go skinny dipping in the Piscean sea.

Now, the big news: Saturn, our taskmaster-in-chief, has checked into the ethereal hotel Pisces, and it's not here for a casual vacation. No, sir! It's more like that strict principal from your childhood who could make your knees shake with just one look. It's here to make us work on our dreams, and oh boy, is it going to be a rollercoaster ride!

Imagine Saturn as a cosmic life coach, pushing you to finally write that book or start that business you've always dreamed of. It's like your own personal Yoda, only with less green and more rings. It's time to dust off those daydreams, my friends, and convert them into achievable goals. Just remember, Rome wasn't built in a day, neither is any dream worth its salt. So, keep that notepad ready, because the brainstorm is about to get stormier.

But remember, folks, Saturn in Pisces is not all sunshine and rainbows. There will be moments when you feel like a deer caught in headlights, especially when Saturn starts poking at your cherished dreams. But don't worry, this planetary dad isn't here to ruin your party, but to turn it into a success. The trick? Open the door, offer him a cosmic coffee, and listen. You might end up learning more than you expected.

Also, with Saturn hovering in Pisces, the realm of sleep and dreams, you might experience some weird dreams, insomnia, or even sudden urges to become a monk. Don't panic, it's just Saturn doing its thing. Try some deep breathing, go for a nature walk, or meditate. And yes, keep a dream journal ready. Who knows, your next big idea might come while you're counting sheep.

So, gear up, fellow stargazers. It's time to embrace the Saturn in Pisces transit and dive deep into the cosmic ocean of possibilities. Remember,

Beep-boop-beep! (Translation: Listen up, star gazers!) Now, I don't usually do this, but I'm about to drop some cosmic knowledge on you that's hotter than a lightsaber. Get ready, because Uranus is in Taurus and it's like a Wookiee in a china shop - things are about to get... interesting. Taurus, you bull-headed beauty, you're all about stability and resisting change like a Jedi resists the dark side. But guess what? Uranus didn't get the memo. It's spinning into your sign like a rogue droid and it's all about big, sudden changes. Think about it as swapping your old, reliable X-Wing for the Millennium Falcon. Scary? Maybe. Exciting? Definitely! Usually, you're the Wall Street of the zodiac - money is your thing. But with Uranus parking its extraterrestrial backside in your sign, we're talking about financial revolution, baby. Galactic credits, Bitcoin, or maybe even trading in Ewok pelts - who knows what could happen?! On a personal level, Uranus is about to do a Death Star number on your financial chains. Debt, taxes, interest, rent - they're all in the line of fire. You might feel as trapped as Han Solo in carbonite, but this is your chance to thaw out and break free. The Force is strong with this one. Uranus is here to liberate you from financial tyranny, whether you like it or not. Resistance is futile. And before you start quoting Yoda at me, remember this: the changes you make now could lead to greater stability than even the Force can provide. So strap in, Taurus. It's time for liftoff. May the force (and Uranus) be with you! Beep-boop-beep!

Neptune In Pisces (Exterminate the Ego Edition)

All right, my star-gazing compadres, gather 'round. Our buddy Neptune has decided to throw a cosmic pool party in Pisces and you're all invited! Now, before you start packing your swimwear and sunscreen, remember that this is an astrological event, not a literal one. Seriously, folks, Neptune's a bit chilly this time of year...and every time of year. It is 4.34 billion kilometers away after all.

So what does this mean for us? Well, imagine if the Daleks from Doctor Who suddenly had an existential crisis and got into meditation instead of extermination. That's basically Neptune in Pisces - it's all about obliterating those petty differences and egoistical behaviors that divide us. Are you the last Time Lord or a humble Dalek? Doesn’t matter, all are one in the eyes of the cosmos!

This celestial event puts a spotlight on our collective progress and healing. Basically, it's like Neptune's flinging cosmic glitter everywhere and saying, "Look, you beautiful stardust beings! You've all got gifts and dreams. Now stop squabbling and use them to make the universe a better place."

Now is the perfect time to do something spiritual - maybe take a class in astral projection, or turn your living room into a shrine for the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Why not? Neptune in Pisces encourages us to explore our emotional intelligence and then share our discoveries, and it doesn't discriminate against pasta deities.

Just remember, folks, Neptune is currently doing the retrograde boogie, so don't be surprised if things get a little fuzzy around the edges. But fear not! This is just Neptune's way of reminding us that even in the vastness of space, we’re all connected. So, let’s get out there and make the cosmos proud...or at least slightly less puzzled by our actions.

Pluto In Capricorn: The Cosmic Engineer's Report

Alright, folks! Grab your telescopes, star charts, and maybe a snack because we've got some interstellar power plays on our hands! Pluto, our favorite 'I'm-a-planet-no-I'm-not-wait-yes-I-am' celestial body, has sauntered into Capricorn. And let me tell you, it's like watching a cosmic chess game where the pieces are made of space rocks and gravity is the only rule.

Now, let's get one thing straight: Pluto and Capricorn are both overachievers. They're the type of cosmic bodies that would turn up to a party together, wearing matching power suits, and immediately start networking. They're all about success, power, and getting the job done, even if it's 5 billion kilometers away.

But here's the rub, my fellow stargazers: During this transit, they might accidentally toss our compassion into a black hole. Oops! You see, these two don't have time for your feelings or anyone else's; they're too busy demanding results. So, don't be surprised if you find yourself being a bit... intolerant of ideas that aren't your own. It's not you, it's the cosmos!

It's not all doom and gloom, though. You see, Pluto is also our cosmic garbage truck. It's here to help us clean house and jettison our negative patterns that have overstayed their welcome. However, this does involve some, ahem, 'constructive destruction.' So, as you're tossing out old habits and patterns like yesterday's space junk, be deliberate about what you destroy. Remember, one person's cosmic debris could be another's space treasure!

So, now you know what to expect from the cosmic dance between Pluto and Capricorn. Buckle up, stay aware, and keep your snacks handy. This could be a bumpy ride!

Your thinking today is ingenious, original, clever, sharp, and magnetic. Electricity is in your head and probably the rest of your body. You are full of nervous energy, but it is the type that can help you accomplish more. New and exciting opportunities may come about today through travel, conversations with others, or through new reading material. Go exploring. You are open to new ideas, and come up with your own fair share of unique perspectives yourself. You have a technical bent and might take special interest in computers, technology, and science. Your intuition is very strong and mostly leads you in the right direction. You have a friendly, tolerant, and unprejudiced manner. You avoid making unfair judgments, being hypocritical, or stereotyping. You are very truthful and abhor modes of thinking that are biased and narrow. You are resourceful, witty, and quick to grasp and understand new subjects. Your thinking is often quite naturally outside of the box and very quick, and it can be baffling to you when you observe others who don’t get to the same conclusions as you in half the time. Still, you require much space and freedom to do your own thinking, and you don’t take kindly to anyone trying to force-feed you information or opinions. You are at your mental best and most cooperative when you have had the chance to find your own inspiration, and you easily feel hypocritical if you don’t–a feeling that doesn’t sit well with you one bit.The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mercury and Uranus have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Some Famous People with Mercury in Harmonious Aspect to Uranus: Sextiles – Lawrence Welk, John Steinbeck, Donald Sutherland, Erik Satie, Martin Sheen; Trines – Sheena Easton, Farrah Fawcett, Tracey Ullman, Marilyn Manson

Venus

You will probably overindulge yourself today, with regrets later. This is true both with eating and spending. A distinct laziness may overcome you and you will want to be pampered. Self-discipline is needed in order to avoid trouble now or later. Others may think you are too spoiled. Don't procrastinate. These people are big-hearted and warm, with open hearts and a tendency to want to give a lot to the people they love. They can have some problems with following through on their promises, however–not because of any ill intent, but because they sometimes overestimate their personal capabilities, and want to do more, and give more, than is actually possible. At distinct times in their lives, they have a tendency to live beyond their means. They need to be cautious about the tendency to feel overly-optimistic or overly protected. Borrowing from their future and overdoing their indulgence in pleasures is a marked tendency. While people with the conjunction, sextile, or trine between Venus and Jupiter express their bigheartedness, tolerance, generosity, and magnanimity in a generally constant and natural manner, these same expressions for those people with the square, opposition, and quincunx between these planets tend to be problematic at times. Their need for growth, good humor, and fun in their relationships is marked, as is their disdain for insincerity. However, they may attract just those kinds of people simply because they are looking so hard for these traits that they assign them onto undeserving people!Moderation is the most important, and perhaps challenging, lesson in these people’s lives.Interpretation sample from the Your Spiritual Path report — Your sense of form and harmony extend into the important relationships of your life. You seek a strong philosophical connection to match the physical passion. Faithfulness is a key factor if your relationship is to support your spiritual growth, and trust has to work both ways in the partnership. Some Famous People with the Venus in Hard Aspect to Jupiter: Squares – Jason Alexander, Pearl Buck, Julia Child, Joe Cocker, Sean Connery, Alice Cooper, Billy Corgan, e.e. Your relationships with people today may involve the quality of deception. Either you are not being honest with them or they are not being honest with you. Be careful of people who come to you with hard luck stories and ask for your help. They may really need your help or they may just be trying to scam you. Use discrimination. Not everyone who asks for help deserves your help. It may be better to let them help themselves. Knowing the difference is one of the most difficult things to learn. Certainly do nothing today that isn't entirely above board or you will pay for it dearly later on. Honesty is the best policy. Misunderstandings can occur so mirror back to others what you understand them to have said and see if they agree with your interpretation. You may feel more sensitive today than usual. Don't feel bad if your ego feels bruised. Things may not be as they appear. This is a challenging position, as you have difficulty trusting in your ability to go after things that you want in a direct manner. It may also be that you have difficulty pinpointing what it is that you want, or that part of you doesn’t feel you deserve it due to a basic lack of self-confidence. You fear rejection as well as criticism, and often use roundabout means to go after what you want.Your imagination is so powerful that it can be hard to trust your instincts. You easily imagine things going wrong, just as you easily fantasize about good things! Your desire nature is strong yet also very suggestible. You’re attracted to mysteries and intrigue. Sexual experimentation is likely, as you are forever addicted to sensuality and unusual or perhaps even what many would consider perverted sexual scenarios. However, your sensual appetite might be much like a bottomless pit, and you could find yourself forever in a state of wanting more, tiring of regular sexual scenarios quickly, and endlessly searching for the next sensation. If an addiction to fantasy is present, you can find yourself constantly chasing a new and more complicated fantasy. It is only when you get into touch with your heart and discover your true desires that you realize that sensations are merely sensations–not deeply satisfying or fulfilling.Fears of sexual inadequacy can be great with this position, and you may either deny yourself as a result, or overcompensate, seeking out experiences in which you are pretty much assured positive feedback. Some of you will experience both of these extremes in your lifetime. I have a client with this position who has a “trophy” wife, and she often denies him, and even belittles him, on a sexual level. He accepts this but “gets her back” behind her back, having serial affairs with women who are not considered as attractive for whatever reason and with whom he attempts to reclaim his power. One of the interesting things about this position is that if you are involved in immoral activities, guilt has a way of cropping up in unusual ways, and could lead you on a self-destructive path–and you might even know that you’re heading that way, yet you compulsively follow that path. Part of you might want to get caught! You might, for example, know in your mind that doing something is risky, yet you compulsively do it anyhow, perhaps even finding the challenge invigorating.Although you can be very creative at keeping your motives and personal agenda hidden–in fact, many of you seem on the surface of things to be quite gentle and yielding–you might eventually become resentful if you feel the need to resort to sneakiness in order to get what you want out of life. This is one of the things that has struck me as the most common characteristics of Mars-Neptune people. It’s not that they don’t get angry or show that anger. However, many will give in to another’s desires more often than not, yet become resentful of that person who seems to have control over them. Some will give up their power to a partner, for example, often taking the role as the one who gives in or gives up things in order to make the other happy. However, resentment for this builds, and while people with harmonious Mars-Neptune aspects more easily yield to others without anger for doing so, those with hard Mars-Neptune aspects are more likely to feel stepped upon, and to retaliate in covert ways. If you do feel resentment for giving up your power to someone else, learn to avoid giving it up unless you truly understand that you are doing it for yourself, and not for someone else. Resentments have a way of building and distorting themselves into ugly matter if you don’t deal with them properly and directly. You are often passive-aggressive in your approach to others, and this can cause a lot of problems in your life. You are usually found chasing a dream… or a fantasy. The former is probably the better path.Somehow, others are bound to eventually sense that you are not to be trusted, and this is often for good reason! You may not like to admit this to yourself, as you may have built excuses for your deceptive or sneaky behavior. However, adopting a more direct and assertive approach to life is something that you should be working towards. You will need to get over your feelings of guilt when you do adopt this approach. Learning to take responsibility for your actions, and to avoid blaming others for failures, is important. At your worst, you can be disorganized in your approach to life, easily procrastinating and lacking follow-through when you do begin a task. Some of the most important lessons you need to learn in life are self-control, self-assertion, and trust in yourself. At your best, you are a creative person with a powerful imagination and great stores of compassion. Some Famous People with the Mars in Hard Aspect to Neptune: Squares – Ben Affleck, James Barber, Erma Bombeck, Jimmy Buffet, Barbara Bush, Sandra Dee, Melissa Etheridge, Eddie Fisher, Jodie Foster, Conan O’Brien, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Andy Warhol, Sharon Tate. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
