The Sun

Solar activity was low. Region 3410 (S30W75, Axx/alpha) produced an impulsive C5.8/Sf flare at 19/0648 UTC. Two C-class flares from late on 18 Aug produced a pair of CME signatures that were both modeled as Earth misses. No other potentially Earth-directed CMEs were identified in available coronagraph imagery. All regions on the visible disk were either stable or in gradual decay.

The solar kp index is unsettled, with retrograde effects slightly enhanced. The solar wind speed is high, making retrograde effects significantly increased!

Solar wind parameters suggested the continued influence of a negative polarity CH HSS. Total magnetic field strength was mostly steady at 2-5 nT for the first half of the period and gradually increased to about 8 nT by the end of the period. Bz was mostly neutral to positive before showing a negative drop to -6 nT at periods end. Solar wind speeds ranged from ~430-520 km/s for the majority of the period. Phi angle was predominantly oriented in the negative sector.

There is a 15% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Libra

Greetings, star gazers! The moon, in its celestial wisdom, has decided to take a little vacation in Libra, and let me tell you, the cosmic energy is popping off like a supernova at a black hole party. But don't start panicking that the moon is roughly 401,778.210144039km away. It's not like it's going to the next galaxy for milk or anything. Now, Libra? She's all about balance, harmony, and making sure everyone's getting along. She's basically the universe's favorite kindergarten teacher. So, with the moon visiting, you might find your emotions swinging like a pendulum in Einstein's theory of relativity. One moment you're as happy as Schrodinger's cat before the box is opened, the next you're as down as Pluto when it was told it wasn't a planet anymore. Here's the trick though - this isn't a time to bury those mood swings under a pile of quantum physics textbooks. Embrace them! Ride them like a comet streaking across the night sky. Because there's wisdom in those wild swings, like the hidden beauty in the chaotic patterns of fractals. So, my dear celestial beings, while the moon hangs out in Libra's neck of the cosmos, remember to balance your inner nerd with your outer hippie. Let your emotions flow like the Milky Way, and remember, even though we're just tiny specks in an infinite universe, we're still pretty darn cool. Until next time, keep your telescopes handy and always ask the big questions, like why isn't pizza considered a planet? I mean, it's round, beloved by all, and let's face it, it's the center of many a late-night gathering. But alas, the mysteries of the universe continue...

Mercury In Virgo: A Dalek's Night Out

Do you hear that? No, it’s not the sound of the TARDIS materializing in your backyard. That’s Mercury, zooming into Virgo like a Dalek on a mission. Oh, and just a heads up, Mercury is currently a whopping 111936505.654289857km away. So, no worries about any immediate alien invasion.

Now, what does this mean for you? Well, let's break it down. With Mercury in Virgo, your mind becomes as sharp as a sonic screwdriver. Your speech? Precise as a Dalek's aim. There's no time for sugar-coating or waffling about Timey-Wimey stuff. We're cutting through the space-time continuum to get straight to the point.

Virgo, the celestial equivalent of a whizz-kid with a Rubik’s cube, has a knack for stripping out the unnecessary fluff. So, while Mercury is doing its thing in Virgo, your ability to analyse information quicker than K-9 could calculate Pi to a thousand decimal places, becomes your new superpower.

Productivity levels? Off the chart! We're talking Gallifreyan levels of progress. No more getting stuck in a temporal loop of dead-end ideas or conversations that feel like they're stuck in a time lock. Details and useful information become your best friends, making this a time of great forward movement. Or as a Dalek might put it, "Advance! Advance!"

But be warned, fellow Whovians. During this cosmic event, we can develop a Dalek-like focus on finding faults. Yes, it's all very well wanting to EXTERMINATE flaws, but we risk insulting others or even becoming our own worst critics. So take a leaf out of the Doctor's book and remember, tact is key. Even a Dalek knows how to say 'please'... well, in their own unique way.

So there you have it. Mercury in Virgo. Your time to shine brighter than the Medusa Cascade. Just remember to keep your sonic screwdriver handy and always be kind. Allons-y!

Venus Is In Leo

Alright, star gazers! Get ready to buckle up and turbo-boost your love life because Venus, our very own cosmic Cupid, has decided to park her celestial spaceship in Leo's territory. Now, let me tell you something about Leo -- the zodiac's drama queen and king, all rolled into one. When Venus, lord of love and luxury, enters Leo's dominion, we're not just talking whispering sweet nothings or holding hands at sunset. Oh no, my friends, we're talking full-blown, Shakespearean-style declarations of love. Picture Romeo under Juliet's balcony... but on a space station orbiting a distant star. That's the level of romantic extravaganza we're aiming for here. No more playing it cool, folks. While Venus is lounging around in Leo's cosmic living room, we need to step up our game. No one wants to feel like they're simply being tolerated. No sir, we want to be worshipped, adored, put on a pedestal! It's time to take that quantum leap of faith and make those grand gestures. If you're not ready to engage warp drive and shoot for the stars, you might just find yourself left floating in the asteroid belt of loneliness. But beware, fellow space travelers. With great power comes great... well, potential for interstellar melodramas. Leo, as king of the jungle, loves a good roar and isn't afraid to show its claws. If you're feeling neglected or unappreciated, there might be a temptation to start an argument just to remind everyone who's boss. Remember, we're navigating this universe as a team. If you're too focused on your own ego, you might end up solo navigating the cosmos. And let's talk about money. When Venus is in Leo, money is as valuable as dilithium crystals in your starship's engine. It's not just about hoarding wealth, it's about spreading it around like stardust on your cosmic journey. Leo loves the glitter and glamour, so feel free to splurge a little. But remember, the real satisfaction comes from generosity. Treating others to over-the-top gifts will make you happier than treating yourself -- think of it as the Prime Directive of Happiness. In the immortal words of Starfleet, "To boldly go where no man has gone before." Venus in Leo is a vibrant, colourful time. It's an opportunity to inject some fun into your relationships and remind yourself that a life devoid of a little excitement is

Mars Is In Virgo

When Feisty Mars Meets Meticulous Virgo

Buckle up stargazers, because Mars, the interstellar poster child of impulsiveness, is currently doing the cosmic tango with Virgo, the zodiac's resident neat-freak. Imagine if you will, a fiery, headstrong warrior trying to organize his sock drawer by color, material and level of cosmic dust absorption. Yes, that’s the kind of vibe we’re dealing with.

Mars in Virgo is like having your personal drill sergeant - with a PhD in efficiency studies - guiding you through life. Suddenly, you’re not just doing things, you’re doing them with clockwork precision, so much so, you might even start timing how long it takes you to brush your teeth and incessantly trying to beat your previous record.

And health, oh boy! You're going to be more committed to your well-being than an alien obsessed with human anatomy. Don't be surprised if you wake up one morning and decide to run a marathon. Or suddenly swap your regular pizza for a kale salad. (Hey, stranger things have happened in the universe!)

But beware, my celestial comrades, for this transit can turn us into fault-finding machines. You might find yourself critiquing everything from your partner's dishwashing skills to the way the neighbor's cat meows. Remember, folks, not everyone operates at Spock-level perfection. A bit of patience goes a long way in preventing intergalactic warfare.

So, instead of channelling your newfound energy into finding faults in every corner of the cosmos, why not focus on making your own galaxy a better place? Balance that budget, plan that trip to Alpha Centauri, learn Klingon or finally get around to assembling that IKEA flat-pack furniture that's been gathering dust. There’s no better time for such projects than Mars in Virgo!

Remember, my stars-struck friends, this cosmic combo is all about efficiency, self-improvement, and a dash of good humor. So, let's channel our inner Sheldon Cooper and boldly go where no Mars in Virgo has gone before!

Neo Meets the Bull: Jupiter in Taurus

Alright, folks. Grab your red pills and let's dive down the rabbit hole. Jupiter, our solar system's largest planet (and no, I don't mean your ex), is making its grand tour through Taurus, the zodiac's version of a luxurious, comfort-loving couch potato. It's like if The Big Lebowski met with Neil deGrasse Tyson for a cosmic chat.

First things first, let's remember that Jupiter is the Gandalf of planets - the good wizard stirring up wisdom and deep thought. And Taurus? Well, Taurus is more of the hobbit type, a creature of habit, happy to stay put and enjoy the finer things in life. But even Bilbo Baggins eventually left the Shire, right?

So, what happens when you mix the celestial Dumbledore with an astrological hobbit? Well, it's your opportunity to follow the white rabbit and tap into that inner wisdom that's been chilling out like an ignored Netflix subscription. It's time for a spiritual spring cleaning, folks!

Jupiter in Taurus is like having your personal life coach cheering you on from the sidelines as you make those dream boards and to-do lists a reality. It's about swapping your "one day" for "day one." And with Jupiter's "go big or go home" attitude combined with Taurus' stubborn determination, there's no stopping you now.

And here's the really fun part - Jupiter in Taurus can make it rain! Literally. This transit is like finding a lucky penny in the pocket of your favorite jeans, but on a much larger scale. Just remember, Taurus might love the good life, but it's not about greed. It's about prospering in all aspects of life, not just your bank account.

So as Jupiter moseys through Taurus, remember to take some time to appreciate the beauty around you, and maybe even indulge a little. After all, isn't life too short not to enjoy that second slice of pizza?

But be warned: Taurus has a tendency to overindulge and Jupiter can expand anything it touches. So, try not to confuse "treat yourself" with "eat the entire cake". Balance is key, people. Or as Neo would say, "There is no spoon... because I ate

Saturn Is In Pisces

When Saturn Pulls a Pisces

Alright, cosmic cats and kittens, brace yourselves because Saturn, the Grand Poobah of the cosmos, just pulled a Pisces! And it's retrograde, to boot! Now I know what you're thinking - "Holy Nebula, not another retrograde!" - but hear me out. This is an opportunity dressed up as a cosmic conundrum.

Saturn in Pisces is like your somewhat stern but well-meaning auntie who insists on cleaning up your room, whether you like it or not. It's all for our own good, she says, while we grumble and put "Stay Out" signs on the door. But here's the kicker - Auntie Saturn has a point. Those dreams of writing a book or opening a vegan-friendly, sustainably-sourced, fair-trade coffee shop? It's time to dust them off and turn them into reality.

This celestial pairing of Saturn, the cosmic taskmaster, and Pisces, the dreamy mystic, is all about putting some order into our kaleidoscope of dreams. It's time to get serious, folks, and by serious, I mean drafting a business plan, working out a budget, and researching loan options. Don't worry, you can still keep your flower crown on while doing it.

Now, the downside: Saturn in Pisces can feel a bit intrusive, like a celestial spotlight beaming directly into our daydreams. We might feel a tad restless, have more anxiety than a cat in a rocking chair store, or even suffer from sleep deprivation. But fret not, my starry-eyed friends, it's all part of the process.

Take this as a sign to prioritize inner peace. Meditate, take a leisurely stroll in the forest, practice deep breathing, or simply take a nap (but keep a dream journal handy!). You can even hit the hay earlier than usual to give your mind some extra downtime. This transit is all about tapping into the deep wisdom that can only come when we quiet our minds and listen. So let's lean into it and see what Auntie Saturn and Uncle Pisces have in store for us!

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus Is In Taurus

Greetings Earthlings! Buckle up, because Uranus is doing the cosmic tango with Taurus. Now, I know what you're thinking: "But my friendly neighborhood astrologer, Taurus is as fond of change as a cat is of baths!" And you know what? You're absolutely right. But guess what? Uranus didn't get the memo. It's all about shaking things up, like a cosmic salt shaker of surprise. So, Taurus, darling of stability and status quo, is going to have to learn some new dance steps. And let's face it, we might stumble, step on a few cosmic toes, maybe even rip our metaphorical space pants, but at the end of the dance, we'll realize it was worth it. Even if we have two left feet. Let’s talk about money. Taurus' favorite subject after fine wine and gourmet cheese. With Uranus in town, we're about to see some revolutionary changes in the fiscal arena. Imagine Bitcoin having a baby with Apple Pay and you're somewhere in the ballpark. Banks might as well be roller discos, and the stock market could turn into a round of bingo. So, hold onto your space wallets! On a personal level, this Uranus-Taurus mashup wants us to reevaluate our relationship with the green stuff. Debt, taxes, credit card interest, rent, mortgages - they're all about to get a cosmic audit. It's time to break free from that financial gravity pulling us down. And let's not forget about material possessions. Ever felt like you're drowning in a sea of stuff? Well, get ready for a lifeboat. This transit is all about simplifying and decluttering. Time to say sayonara to that collection of vintage Star Trek figurines (I know, it hurts). The bottom line is, change is happening, whether we want it or not. It's like a sneeze, you can't stop it. But you know what? The changes we make during this period can actually help bring us to a point of greater stability. And who knows, maybe we'll even find that we've got some pretty good moves on the cosmic dance floor. So, let's embrace the groove, and remember, Uranus has your back, even if it is almost 3 billion kilometers away.

Neptune Is In Pisces

Well, buckle up, star gazers, we're going on a cosmic jaunt! Our blue buddy Neptune has decided to take a little vacation in the dreamy waters of Pisces. Now remember, Neptune is one cool customer - always keeping its distance, around 4.3 billion kilometers from our tiny blue dot. And guess what? It's in retrograde! Uh-oh, right? Wrong! This isn't Mercury we're talking about! Now, let's get one thing straight, when Neptune swims in the infinite ocean of Pisces, it's like a foggy pair of spectacles suddenly getting a good old clean. You can see clearly now, the rain... er, petty differences are gone! Everything gleams with the gold of unity and the path to all-round goodness shines brighter than your grandpa's bald spot in the midday sun. It's a bit like being at a cosmic party where everyone is invited, and you're being asked: "Hey, how can you make this shindig better?" We've all got something to offer, whether it's your grandma's secret recipe for world peace or your uncanny ability to predict the next big hairstyle trend (mullets are coming back, I swear). What's more, this celestial event is the perfect time to dive into your spiritual side. Always wanted to try yoga? Go for it! Want to build a shrine to your favorite sci-fi show? Live long and prosper, my friends! But remember, Neptune in Pisces doesn't just want you to explore, it wants you to share. It's like that friend who insists on group karaoke even though they know you can't carry a tune. Except in this case, the tune is your spiritual awakening, and the karaoke bar is the world. So, my fellow stargazers, get out there and make your unique mark on the universe. After all, we're all made of star stuff!

Pluto in Capricorn: A Cosmic Comedy in Progress

Alright, celestial enthusiasts! Get your telescopes, star maps, and Saturday night fever ready because we're venturing into the cosmic disco of galaxies. Yes! It's Pluto, our underdog planet, shaking its groove thing in serious Capricorn. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Isn't Pluto a dwarf planet?" Well, my friends, in the grand waltz of the cosmos, size doesn't matter. It's all about how you use your gravitational pull!

Now, Pluto and Capricorn are like the power couple of the solar system, always striving for success and power... they're basically the Beyonce and Jay-Z of the galaxy. But with great power comes... well, you know, a tendency to forget the little people. Or in this case, the other planets' viewpoints. And let me tell you, Saturn is not happy about being ignored. It's throwing cosmic side-eye like it's going out of style!

During this transit, we may find ourselves tossing aside compassion like yesterday's horoscope. But remember folks, nobody likes a cosmic bully. So keep those interstellar ears open for ideas other than your own. You wouldn't want to miss an enlightening conversation with Uranus, now would you?

But here's where it gets really fun. Old man Pluto, bless his icy heart, wants us to break free from our negative patterns. Yikes! Sounds like a recipe for a cosmic meltdown. But fear not, my stargazing compadres. This is a chance for some good ol' fashioned constructive destruction (it's like spring cleaning, but with more existential dread).

So as Pluto boogies down in Capricorn, remember to be deliberate in what you destroy in your life. Because let's face it, nobody wants to accidentally incinerate their collection of Star Trek memorabilia during a bout of cosmic cleansing. Trust me, I've been there.

And there you have it, folks! Pluto in Capricorn: a cosmic comedy in progress. Tune in next time for more astronomical antics, and remember – keep your eyes on the stars and your feet on the ground. Unless you're an astronaut. Then do whatever floats your boat. Or spaceship.

The Sun

The Sun

Sun Square Uranus

Surprises may be in store for you today. These surprises may be disruptive and, if so, they are designed to help you grow. Look upon them as challenges and learning experiences. Problems today could come because of your eccentric behavior. Avoid bohemian tendencies and doing things just to be different. People are likely to take offense at your uniqueness. Don't draw unnecessary attention to yourself. Be alert today as impulsiveness may lead to accidents. Resist the urge to overthrow everything just for the sake of something new.The ego is quite large when the Sun is square or opposite Uranus. This is largely due to the fact that these people’s very identities ride on their sense of personal freedom. It can be quite a challenge to get them to do what they don’t want to do, simply because they see any attempts to push them in a certain direction as threatening their freedom. These are very dynamic individuals who question tradition and authority, yet, paradoxically, are quite set in their own ways. These people have a love-hate relationship with their own uniqueness. Much of the time they are very proud of their original personalities. Other times, they feel a bit left out for being “different”. Although they are humanitarian in many ways, they can be a little brusque when it comes to sentimentality or what they perceive to be excessive attachment to the past or to tradition. When the Sun and Uranus form a challenging aspect, there can be a lot of nervous energy and defensiveness. It can be difficult to hold a 9 to 5 job or to develop steady routines. They work best when they can manage their own schedules. They work in spurts. When they are hit with creative inspiration, they are capable of tremendous effort. However, they can be quite temperamental, and it is very hard for them to pour their hearts and souls into something that they don’t “feel” for at the moment. They don’t like superficiality or pretense, which is an admirable trait. However, their disdain for pretense can be problematic in a world where people are expected to perform whether they are inspired or not! I have a daughter who has the Sun in challenging aspect to Uranus, and there was quite an adjustment period when she entered first grade–a time when kids begin to truly experience structure. When the children in her gym class were told to dance, she simply stood there, immobile. When asked why she was not dancing, she replied, “But I don’t feel the dance inside of me, so how can I dance?” Sun-Uranus people don’t always feel like they “fit in” with the rules and structures of society. However, those that recognize the need to conform at least some of the time may be able to channel their high levels of intuition, inventiveness, and spiritedness into creative endeavors or important causes. They might find that they encounter much less resistance in day-to-day life this way. Some Famous People with Sun in Hard Aspect to Uranus: Squares – Alan Alda, Billy Crystal, Stephen King, O. Your thinking today is ingenious, original, clever, sharp, and magnetic. Electricity is in your head and probably the rest of your body. You are full of nervous energy, but it is the type that can help you accomplish more. New and exciting opportunities may come about today through travel, conversations with others, or through new reading material. Go exploring. You are open to new ideas, and come up with your own fair share of unique perspectives yourself. You have a technical bent and might take special interest in computers, technology, and science. Your intuition is very strong and mostly leads you in the right direction. You have a friendly, tolerant, and unprejudiced manner. You avoid making unfair judgments, being hypocritical, or stereotyping. You are very truthful and abhor modes of thinking that are biased and narrow. You are resourceful, witty, and quick to grasp and understand new subjects. Your thinking is often quite naturally outside of the box and very quick, and it can be baffling to you when you observe others who don’t get to the same conclusions as you in half the time. Still, you require much space and freedom to do your own thinking, and you don’t take kindly to anyone trying to force-feed you information or opinions. You are at your mental best and most cooperative when you have had the chance to find your own inspiration, and you easily feel hypocritical if you don’t–a feeling that doesn’t sit well with you one bit.The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mercury and Uranus have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Some Famous People with Mercury in Harmonious Aspect to Uranus: Sextiles – Lawrence Welk, John Steinbeck, Donald Sutherland, Erik Satie, Martin Sheen; Trines – Sheena Easton, Farrah Fawcett, Tracey Ullman, Marilyn Manson

You will probably overindulge yourself today, with regrets later. This is true both with eating and spending. A distinct laziness may overcome you and you will want to be pampered. Self-discipline is needed in order to avoid trouble now or later. Others may think you are too spoiled. Don't procrastinate. These people are big-hearted and warm, with open hearts and a tendency to want to give a lot to the people they love. They can have some problems with following through on their promises, however–not because of any ill intent, but because they sometimes overestimate their personal capabilities, and want to do more, and give more, than is actually possible. At distinct times in their lives, they have a tendency to live beyond their means. They need to be cautious about the tendency to feel overly-optimistic or overly protected. Borrowing from their future and overdoing their indulgence in pleasures is a marked tendency. While people with the conjunction, sextile, or trine between Venus and Jupiter express their bigheartedness, tolerance, generosity, and magnanimity in a generally constant and natural manner, these same expressions for those people with the square, opposition, and quincunx between these planets tend to be problematic at times. Their need for growth, good humor, and fun in their relationships is marked, as is their disdain for insincerity. However, they may attract just those kinds of people simply because they are looking so hard for these traits that they assign them onto undeserving people!Moderation is the most important, and perhaps challenging, lesson in these people’s lives.Interpretation sample from the Your Spiritual Path report — Your sense of form and harmony extend into the important relationships of your life. Today can be enlightening for you as there is much creative and intuitional energy available. New encounters and new experiences can make you grow. Excitement is in the air and you are ready for anything. You feel like taking risks and it's not a bad day to do so, even if others disapprove. You are the pioneer today. Go where you haven't gone before. You are highly original and very enthusiastic about life. You express yourself with creative drama, which leaves a lasting effect on others. In order to explore your numerous creative potentials, you demand a great deal of personal freedom from those who are close to you. You have seemingly unlimited energy with which to pursue your goals and have many projects to occupy your time. You sometimes become impatient because you have so much you want to accomplish and only a limited amount of time to do so. You truly enjoy having limitless options in your life and feel sorry for those who lead a more boring existence! Never bored, you want to surround yourself with others who are exciting and futuristic in their outlook. One lesson of this aspect is to learn to be patient with others who are not similarly inclined. Also, learn to do things in moderation. Take a vacation and unwind from time to time. In your love life, you are impulsive and can become restless if the relationship doesn’t seem to be going somewhere. The idea that you can grow as an individual while maintaining a partnership is important to you. Your sexual needs are strong, and you need a partner who shares this quality. You have inexhaustible reserves of physical energy when it comes to sex, and you find it extremely natural to experiment and to introduce variety into your sex life. You don’t quite understand it when a partner doesn’t have the same need! To you, changing the way you make love is completely natural, and you wouldn’t have a good time with a partner who prefers to keep things status quo in the bedroom. However, you are willing to accept your partner’s limits, and you take things in stride. An exciting and fun lover, you don’t bore a lover or get into the kinds of sexual “ruts” that some people do. You may find marriage rather restrictive and prefer to enter into a more unconventional arrangement, such as a live-in relationship. You have a wide circle of friends, and your mate must be willing and able to not restrict your access to them through possessiveness or jealousy. There is no quicker way to lose you! — Interpretation samplr from our LoveStyles Report. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Your relationships with people today may involve the quality of deception. Either you are not being honest with them or they are not being honest with you. Be careful of people who come to you with hard luck stories and ask for your help. They may really need your help or they may just be trying to scam you. Use discrimination. Not everyone who asks for help deserves your help. It may be better to let them help themselves. Knowing the difference is one of the most difficult things to learn. Certainly do nothing today that isn't entirely above board or you will pay for it dearly later on. Honesty is the best policy. Misunderstandings can occur so mirror back to others what you understand them to have said and see if they agree with your interpretation. You may feel more sensitive today than usual. Don't feel bad if your ego feels bruised. Things may not be as they appear. This is a challenging position, as you have difficulty trusting in your ability to go after things that you want in a direct manner. It may also be that you have difficulty pinpointing what it is that you want, or that part of you doesn’t feel you deserve it due to a basic lack of self-confidence. You fear rejection as well as criticism, and often use roundabout means to go after what you want.Your imagination is so powerful that it can be hard to trust your instincts. You easily imagine things going wrong, just as you easily fantasize about good things! Your desire nature is strong yet also very suggestible. You’re attracted to mysteries and intrigue. Sexual experimentation is likely, as you are forever addicted to sensuality and unusual or perhaps even what many would consider perverted sexual scenarios. However, your sensual appetite might be much like a bottomless pit, and you could find yourself forever in a state of wanting more, tiring of regular sexual scenarios quickly, and endlessly searching for the next sensation. If an addiction to fantasy is present, you can find yourself constantly chasing a new and more complicated fantasy. It is only when you get into touch with your heart and discover your true desires that you realize that sensations are merely sensations–not deeply satisfying or fulfilling.Fears of sexual inadequacy can be great with this position, and you may either deny yourself as a result, or overcompensate, seeking out experiences in which you are pretty much assured positive feedback. Some of you will experience both of these extremes in your lifetime. I have a client with this position who has a “trophy” wife, and she often denies him, and even belittles him, on a sexual level. He accepts this but “gets her back” behind her back, having serial affairs with women who are not considered as attractive for whatever reason and with whom he attempts to reclaim his power. One of the interesting things about this position is that if you are involved in immoral activities, guilt has a way of cropping up in unusual ways, and could lead you on a self-destructive path–and you might even know that you’re heading that way, yet you compulsively follow that path. Part of you might want to get caught! You might, for example, know in your mind that doing something is risky, yet you compulsively do it anyhow, perhaps even finding the challenge invigorating.Although you can be very creative at keeping your motives and personal agenda hidden–in fact, many of you seem on the surface of things to be quite gentle and yielding–you might eventually become resentful if you feel the need to resort to sneakiness in order to get what you want out of life. This is one of the things that has struck me as the most common characteristics of Mars-Neptune people. It’s not that they don’t get angry or show that anger. However, many will give in to another’s desires more often than not, yet become resentful of that person who seems to have control over them. Some will give up their power to a partner, for example, often taking the role as the one who gives in or gives up things in order to make the other happy. However, resentment for this builds, and while people with harmonious Mars-Neptune aspects more easily yield to others without anger for doing so, those with hard Mars-Neptune aspects are more likely to feel stepped upon, and to retaliate in covert ways. If you do feel resentment for giving up your power to someone else, learn to avoid giving it up unless you truly understand that you are doing it for yourself, and not for someone else. Resentments have a way of building and distorting themselves into ugly matter if you don’t deal with them properly and directly. You are often passive-aggressive in your approach to others, and this can cause a lot of problems in your life. You are usually found chasing a dream… or a fantasy. The former is probably the better path.Somehow, others are bound to eventually sense that you are not to be trusted, and this is often for good reason! You may not like to admit this to yourself, as you may have built excuses for your deceptive or sneaky behavior. However, adopting a more direct and assertive approach to life is something that you should be working towards. You will need to get over your feelings of guilt when you do adopt this approach. Learning to take responsibility for your actions, and to avoid blaming others for failures, is important. At your worst, you can be disorganized in your approach to life, easily procrastinating and lacking follow-through when you do begin a task. Some of the most important lessons you need to learn in life are self-control, self-assertion, and trust in yourself. At your best, you are a creative person with a powerful imagination and great stores of compassion. Some Famous People with the Mars in Hard Aspect to Neptune: Squares – Ben Affleck, James Barber, Erma Bombeck, Jimmy Buffet, Barbara Bush, Sandra Dee, Melissa Etheridge, Eddie Fisher, Jodie Foster, Conan O’Brien, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Andy Warhol, Sharon Tate. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
