The Sun

Solar activity was moderate this period due to a few M-class flares from Regions 3363 (S22W47, Dko/Beta-Delta) and 3372 (N24E26, Fko/Beta-gamma-Delta). The first was an M2.9 flare from AR 3363 that peaked at 15/0741 UTC. This event produced an associated CME which can first be seen in coronagraph imagery emerging from the southwestern portion of the occulting disk at approximately 15/0737 UTC. AR 3363 was also responsible for a C8.8 flare at 15/2001 UTC. This particular event had an associated type II radio sweep with an estimated speed of 431 Km/s and a type IV which began at 15/2006. Next, AR 3372 produced an M1 flare at 15/0953 UTC and then a M2.2 flare at 15/1010 UTC. The latter of which had an associated type II radio sweep with an estimated speed of 262 Km/s. Yet, the CME related to this event was narrow and not Earth-directed.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

Solar wind parameters were indicative of waning transient influence and a negative polarity CH HSS. Total field steadily decreased from 14 nT to 7 nT over the course of the period. The Bz component was mostly at or near neutral with the exception of a brief southward deflection reaching -7 nT between 15/0836 and 15/1007 UTC. During that time the DSCOVR spacecraft seemingly indicated an increase in solar wind speeds from ~400 Km/s to 500 Km/s which then steadily increased to speeds near 600 Km/s. However, when comparing this to the ACE spacecrafts measurement of only ~350 Km/s to ~400 Km/s, the measurement at DSCOVR is likely non-physical and inaccurate. Yet, the increase in solar wind speeds at both spacecraft likely indicate the anticipated arrival of the faster solar wind from a negative polarity CH HSS. Phi was predominantly negative.

There is a 25% chance of solar activity, with a 10% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Cancer

Alright folks, grab your telescopes, don your favorite galaxy print leggings, and prepare your hearts for a cosmic cuddle because the Moon is in Cancer! Now, I know what you're thinking - "What does that mean for me, oh wise and hilarious astro-bard?" Well, buckle up star children, because we are about to dive headfirst into the vast ocean of celestial humor. First of all, the Moon is currently lounging around at an impressive 400,564.028423026km away which, in layman's terms, is approximately a gazillion times the distance of your trip to the local vegan juice bar. And it's in Cancer, the astrological equivalent of that friend who always has tissues, chocolate, and a reassuring pat on the back ready for any emotional emergency. This combination results in a cosmic energy that's more nurturing than a mother hen with a PhD in Quantum Physics. Expect emotions to come flooding in like a tidal wave powered by rocket fuel. You might find yourself crying at cat videos or getting misty-eyed over your leftover quinoa salad. But fear not, my dear celestial explorers! It’s not all emotional rollercoasters and teary-eyed sentiments. This period can also spark incredible creativity. So, if you've been procrastinating on that abstract painting of Neil deGrasse Tyson riding a unicorn through the Andromeda galaxy, now's the time to pick up that paintbrush! Remember, with the Moon in Cancer, it's all about nurturing, caring, feeling, and possibly inventing a new form of sustainable fuel from your tears. So, go ahead! Embrace this lunar alignment like a cozy, oversized sweater made out of stardust and good vibes. And remember, we're all just tiny specks on a little blue dot, hurtling through space at an absurd speed. So, it's okay to get a bit weepy over a beautiful sunset or the fact your socks match today. Because in the grand scheme of things, it's those little moments that make this cosmic journey worthwhile. Until next time, keep your eyes on the stars and your feet on the ground... unless you're an astronaut, in which case, disregard that last bit.

Venus Is In Leo

Hello, star gazers and quantum lovers! Well, this just in from the Cosmic Gazette: Venus, our friendly neighborhood goddess of love, has just strutted into the celestial catwalk of Leo. Now, let's break down what this celestial cha-cha-cha means for us Earthlings. When Venus, the cosmic sweetheart, treads into the Lion's den, it's like an interstellar Broadway musical. You know, the kind with jazz hands, sequined costumes, and over-the-top love ballads? That's Leo, baby! A fire sign who's more than ready to belt out a love ballad from the top of the Empire State Building. So, prepare for some dramatic dates, flamboyant declarations of affection, and even a few green-eyed tantrums. It's not just about love now, folks, it's about LOVE IN CAPITAL LETTERS! Venus in Leo doesn't want your likes or appreciation. Oh no! They want you to build a shrine of adoration for them. It's the time to go big or go home. If you're playing it safe, well, you might just end up watching this grand spectacle from the sidelines. But remember, folks, love during the Venus-Leo waltz isn't exactly a calm picnic in the park. Leo loves to play but also brings a touch of soap opera drama to the mix. Feeling ignored? You might find yourself roaring at your loved ones for not giving you the Oscar-worthy attention you think you deserve. A word of advice: Remember, although there's no "i" in "we," if you keep focusing on the "me," you might end up with just that - yourself. Now, let’s talk about money, honey. With Venus in Leo, cash is less of a survival tool and more of a magic wand to sprinkle fairy dust of luxury. Leo loves a bit of bling, so don't be surprised if you find yourself splurging on that sparkly thing you've had your eye on. But remember, while pampering yourself feels great, Leo's generous heart finds even more joy in showering others with fabulous gifts. So, in a nutshell, Venus in Leo is like a cosmic Mardi Gras – vibrant, loud, and full of life. It's an opportunity to add a dash of color to your relationships and remind yourself that life without a little razzle-dazzle is like a black hole - dark and dull. So, get out there and dance to the rhythm of the cosmos

Mars Is In Virgo

Mars in Virgo: A Celestial Efficiency Consultant

Well, folks! The celestial version of a neat-freak's dream is happening. Mars, the cosmic action hero, is now vacationing in Virgo, the zodiac's resident health nut and efficiency expert. This is like inviting a drill sergeant to your yoga class. It's going to be...interesting.

Think of Mars as that friend who always knows where the party is at, while Virgo is the one who remembers to bring the hand sanitizer and gluten-free snacks. When these two combine, picture a party where everyone's having fun but they're also recycling correctly and leaving by 10pm because, well, it's a school night.

With Mars shimmying through Virgo, your inner taskmaster is about to boot up. You might suddenly feel an irresistible urge to alphabetize your spice rack or color-code your sock drawer. Don't panic, you're not losing your mind. That's just Mars turning your productivity level up to eleven.

But, like a supercomputer running too hot, there's a potential downside. Virgo's perfectionism might cause Mars' aggressive side to flare up, especially when someone has the nerve to rearrange your meticulously organized bookshelf. So, remember to practice your Zen deep-breathing exercises before you unleash your inner Hulk over a misaligned coaster.

Instead of nitpicking others, use this energy to tackle those projects you've been avoiding. Ever wanted to build a scale model of the Starship Enterprise out of matchsticks? Now's the time! Been putting off organizing your vintage comic book collection? Go for it! With Mars in Virgo, you'll have the motivation and attention to detail you need.

So, whether you're calculating the exact trajectory for a trip to Mars or simply figuring out how to fit more Tupperware in your kitchen cabinet, embrace this transit. Just remember, fellow stargazers, balance is key. Work hard, play reasonably hard, and for the love of Spock, don't forget to triple-check your calculations!

Jupiter in Taurus: The Cosmic Bull Meets the Jovian Giant

Alright, folks, grab your telescopes and hitch up your space trousers! Jupiter, our solar system's resident overachiever, has decided to pop over to Taurus, the zodiac's most stubbornly lovable lounge lizard. What could possibly go wrong? Or right? Or sideways?

First off, let's give Jupiter some credit. This planet is like your favorite high school teacher, encouraging thoughtful introspection and scribbling wisdom on the blackboard of your soul. And Taurus? Well, it's more like your cozy old armchair that insists you already have all the answers you need. Just recline, relax, and let the universe come to you.

With Jupiter in Taurus, we're getting a cosmic kick in the pants to shake off the stardust and make some tangible progress towards our dreams. It's like having a celestial life coach saying, "Enough with the daydreaming, kiddo. Let's get cracking!" So, get ready to dust off those to-do lists and start ticking off the tasks.

And here's the fun part - prosperity may just be around the corner! With Jupiter, the planet of 'I just won the lottery' luck, and Taurus, the sign of 'I'm rolling in it' wealth, this combination can be like finding a winning scratch card tucked inside your fortune cookie. But remember, kids, with great power comes great responsibility. Remember to spend wisely, or you might find yourself on a first-name basis with every pizza delivery guy in town.

So, while Jupiter is gallivanting around Taurus, you might find yourself eyeing that third piece of chocolate cake or that shiny new gadget with a bit more desire than usual. Taurus can be a bit of a hedonist, and when Jupiter, the planet of expansion, drops in for a visit, it's like having your id take over the budget meeting. Be patient, resist the impulse buys, and remember - a wise man once said, "Do or do not, there is no try." Or was that a small, green alien? Either way, it's solid advice.

There you have it! Jupiter in Taurus: a cosmic rendezvous between wisdom and indulgence, practicality and prosperity. It's a wild ride, my friends. Buckle

Saturn in Pisces: The Cosmic Dream Weaver

Okay, fellow stargazers, it's time to put on your space-time spectacles! Saturn, our favorite celestial taskmaster, has decided to crash at Pisces' nebulous cosmic crib for a while. Yes, the very same Pisces who would rather spend its time dreaming about alternate realities than doing its celestial chores. Oh, the interstellar drama this is going to be!

Now, don't let Saturn's reputation as a cosmic buzzkill get you down. It may seem like he's barging into the dreamy Piscean realm with all the subtlety of a Starfleet captain piloting the Defiant through a minefield, but trust me, there's method to his madness.

See, when the Master of Rules and the King of Dreams join forces, it's like a Star Trek convention at a NASA research lab - a little chaotic, but also the perfect breeding ground for revolutionary ideas. Those daydreams of yours? Now's the time to grab them by the comet tail and turn them into reality! Write that business plan. Draft that novel. Make that groundbreaking scientific discovery. Saturn in Pisces is all about bridging the gap between imagination and reality.

But brace yourself, folks. Saturn's visit to Pisces isn't all stardust and supernovas. He's going to poke and prod at your dreams like a particularly persistent Vulcan questioning your logic. It might feel invasive, like a Borg intrusion into your personal space. But remember, this is Saturn we're talking about - the cosmic dad who's just trying to help you clean up your galactic room. So, roll out the welcome mat and listen to what he has to say, no matter how uncomfortable his questions might make you feel.

And with all this activity happening in Pisces' realm - the cosmic equivalent of a dream factory - you might find yourself feeling a little... well, spaced out. You might struggle to sleep or feel more anxious than a redshirt on an away mission. But don't worry, my friend, there's a simple remedy for that: take some time out. Meditate. Go for a walk in the woods. Heck, even nap if you have to - just make sure to keep a dream journal handy. Because who knows what profound wisdom Saturn in Pisces might reveal in those dreams?

So, buckle up,

Uranus Is In Taurus

Uranus Is Doing a Cha-Cha in Taurus!

Buckle up, space cowboys and cosmic cowgirls! Uranus, our favorite celestial rebel without a cause is currently crashing the steady, cautious party of Taurus. Taurus, who's like the grandpa who still prefers his typewriter to a laptop, isn't exactly thrilled about this unexpected change. But guess what? Uranus doesn’t care. It's here, it's clear, and it's ready to shake things up!

When it comes to money, Taurus usually has it all figured out - from the old piggy bank to Swiss bank accounts. But with Uranus twirling around, we're looking at some revolutionary changes in fiscal matters. It's like introducing cryptocurrency to your grandma who still hides cash under her mattress. Expect banking as we know it to throw its hands up in the air and say, "I quit!" Or at least undergo some dramatic transformations. We might even see dollar bills replaced by Star Trek credits. Who knows?

On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus might feel like an overenthusiastic life coach pushing us to break free from financial chains. Debt, taxes, credit card interest, rent, and mortgages could all be in for a cosmic makeover. You might feel like a Hobbit suddenly forced out of the Shire into an epic adventure. But remember, every adventure leads to treasure—just ask Bilbo.

During this transit, it's time to rethink our relationship to money and material possessions. It's like spring cleaning for your life, but instead of dust bunnies, we’re tackling debt bunnies. And guess what? Resistance is futile. Uranus is here to liberate us, not to make our lives miserable. So, let's embrace the change and ride the cosmic wave to a more stable future. This isn’t just a flash in the pan, these changes are here to stay. So, let's do this dance with Uranus and become the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers of financial freedom!

Neptune Is In Pisces

Well, greetings fellow star gazers! Here's the astrological scoop: Neptune, our blue giant of dreams and illusions, has decided to take a detour through the mystical waters of Pisces. Now, don't panic! It's not like Neptune forgot to turn at Albuquerque. This celestial spectacle is a scheduled event. Now, you might be asking, "What does this mean for me?" With Neptune being about 4.4 billion kilometers away (give or take a few light years), it's easy to feel like this doesn't affect your day-to-day. But let me tell you, it’s like Spock once said, “Infinite diversity in infinite combinations.” Meaning? The universe is interconnected, and so are we! While Neptune is doing its backstroke in Pisces, it's like we've been given cosmic goggles. Suddenly, our bickering over who ate the last slice of pizza seems rather trivial when we consider the vastness of the cosmos. Our differences become as insignificant as a speck of stardust on the lens of Hubble. This transit is also the equivalent of a big neon sign flashing: "Embrace Your Inner Hippie!" You know, that part of you that wants to start a communal garden or weave dream catchers out of recycled materials. Your inner flower child is saying, "Hey, let's all get along and make the world a better place." And frankly, who are we to argue with that? So, whether you're a Trekkie, a Jedi, or just someone trying to survive another Monday, take a moment to appreciate the cosmic ballet unfolding above us. Neptune in Pisces is reminding us that we're all made of stardust and, in the grand scheme of things, we're not so different after all. So, go forth and share your unique gifts with the world, my cosmic friends. Let's boldly go and make a difference together!

Pluto's Cosmic Cha-Cha in Capricorn

Well, butter my biscuits and call me a stargazer, folks! Our chilly little friend Pluto is doing the retrograde rumba in the no-nonsense zone of Capricorn. Now, Pluto might be a cosmic underdog, but don't let its size fool you. Like the nerdy kid who grew up to invent a time machine, this dwarf planet packs a serious punch!

Pluto and Capricorn are like Kirk and Spock—both focused on their mission and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. And by "whatever it takes," I mean they may have the tendency to act like they've got their headphones on when other people are talking. So, during this transit, you might find yourself getting a bit... well, bossy. Remember, not everyone shares your love for Klingon opera or quantum physics. Try to keep an open mind and ear.

See, Pluto is the Marie Kondo of the solar system. It comes into our lives with its tiny, icy hands and asks us which of our emotional baggage 'sparks joy'. Whatever doesn't make the cut, gets tossed into the cosmic trash compactor. It's a process of cathartic destruction, like deleting all those embarrassing high school pictures off your Facebook. So, as Pluto dances through Capricorn, be mindful of what you're throwing out. You wouldn't want to accidentally chuck out your priceless Star Trek memorabilia, right?

So, friends, remember: as Pluto cha-chas its way through Capricorn, embrace the cosmic cleanup. Just be sure to keep your ears (and your hearts) open to the voices (and ideas) around you. Good luck, and may the force... I mean, may the stars guide you!

By going off the beaten pathway, you may open up many possibilities for further spiritual and personal growth. You feel free today from all restrictions and you want to fly like the eagle, unbounded by any restraints. Soar high and don't limit yourself. It is easy and natural for those born under a harmonious aspect between the Sun and Uranus to embrace new ways of doing things, to stick up for the underdog, and to express themselves in unique and inspiring ways. These people don’t have to try to stand out as unique–they are original, creative, and progressive without trying. Although these people question rules and traditions if they don’t seem to make sense to them, they don’t view them as threatening their personal sense of freedom. These individuals are far from pretentious. They value honesty and truth, and they avoid putting on airs. They believe in the equality of people, and easily relate to people from all walks of life. There is an unmistakable enthusiasm about life, and generally the life is interesting because the natives invite unusual or adventurous experiences into their lives. They are generally appreciated by others because they are open-minded, fair, and not judgmental. Nothing really seems to faze them! They take things in stride, and are rarely shocked or taken aback by human behavior. If you are holding onto something that you keep to yourself for fear that if you talk about it, someone will think you’re strange, you can safely turn to a Sun-Uranus person. They probably won’t blink, and they’ll make you feel quite alright about it.The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon their intuitive faculties when needed, and those with the trine between the Sun and Uranus have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Some Famous People with Sun in Harmonious Aspect to Uranus: Sextiles – Gregory Peck, Paula Abdul, Kirk Douglas, Tiger Woods, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dr. Phil McGraw, Gene Simmons. Your judgment may not be perfect today. You may tend to exaggerate and promise more than you can deliver. You may likely bite off more than you can chew. Mental arrogance is possible. Be tolerant of others' viewpoints. Be careful with contracts and other legal issues. You may appear closed-minded, smug or self-righteous to others. You love to express your ideas, sharing them with others quite readily. Jumping to conclusions can be a problem in your life. You often overlook details, preferring to discover the “big picture” quickly. Your thinking and studying habits are not always orderly or disciplined, and this can of course result in sloppiness. Especially with the opposition, you might vacillate between logical, precise thinking and an optimistic conclusion-drawing bent of mind, and in the process, it can be challenging for you to truly get to the heart of a subject or to focus for very long. You may confuse others with a critical flaw-finding conversation one moment, and an overly faithful and unrealistic opinion the next. While your intentions are generally good, you might overestimate what you are capable of, and promise more than you can deliver. Be careful not to develop a reputation for being unreliable, simply because you desire to make others happy with what you say or promise. You are inclined to exaggerate, often without meaning to, and you might have a hard time putting your ideas into practice. In an attempt to attach greater meaning to your thoughts and ideas, you might frequently overstate or overestimate. You can be extraordinarily funny and interesting. You possess an acute but disorderly mind; you can come to rapid conclusions without knowing all the facts. You must learn to be more disciplined, to concentrate more on details and to be more persistent with your projects. You are very generous and optimistic though your optimism can sometimes distance you from reality. — sample from the Adult report. Some Famous People with the Mercury in Hard Aspect to Jupiter: Squares – Arnold Bennett, Annie Bessant, Barry Bonds, Frank Capra, Julia Child, Jimmy Connors, Miles Davis, Dave Davies, Aretha Franklin, Madeline Kahn, Ted Kennedy Jr., Mata Hari, Bill Moyers, Ginger Rogers, Rod Stewart, John Travolta; Oppositions – Karen Allen, Chet Atkins, Dick Clark, Winston S. Mars

Mars Opposite Saturn

You may feel rather restrained and too disciplined by others at this time. You may feel purposely held back from doing the things you want to do. This can cause great frustration and great annoyance. Please try to make the best of it and do not try to get even with them or try to get back at them. The repercussions will only boomerang back to you. If others do not appreciate you at this time, just realize that it is best if you continue working hard, doing the best you can until this combination of energies passes. This can be a stressful aspect but do not fret and let it get to you and upset your health. Guard against falls, bumps and bruises. Wait this aspect out and your energies and freedom to do the things you desire will return. In the meantime, work hard and stay optimistic. Express your frustrations in a cool, calm manner. Don't keep everything inside. You are a perfectionist. You can pick at yourself and others unmercifully, trying to get circumstances in your life to match some unspecified standard. Your energy becomes freer to work in an unencumbered way when you recognize that you aren’t really looking to match an objective standard at all. What you want is to find some emotionally and psychologically defendable ground to stand on. The real trick in life for you is to keep moving. This is not easy since you should really only move ahead on a project after forethought or planning; your judgments tend to be colored by your fears or your momentary desires. You work very hard for what comes to you. This is unavoidable. But, you could end up working very hard for no gain. This is avoidable through balancing your drives with your responsibilities. You find that you have better health and much freer energy if you get vigorous physical exercise at least three times a week. — Interpretation sample from the In Depth report.Mars square Saturn or Mars opposition Saturn: *You work hard and patiently to achieve your objectives, persevering and continuing on in spite of difficulties and discouragement. Concentrating on a single, clearly defined goal, you are able to accomplish much, but you often feel that the way is long and arduous, and that you must struggle on alone, that it’s all on your shoulders. You are capable of great self-control and self-denial and can be a hard task master, expecting far too much of yourself. You also tend to hold yourself back, to doubt your own power and ability. You feel that you meet with great resistance whenever you try to assert yourself or take initiative. Anger and frustration can be big problems for you, especially when you try to work with other people or depend too much on others for support. You work best in solitude.#Your involvement with other people often focuses on the harshest side of human experience. You become aware of destructive energies around you and learn to overcome these difficulties. Your spiritual life can become the source of nearly inexhaustible energy. You face tests through separation. Some Famous People with the Mars in Hard Aspect to Saturn: Squares – Susan Sarandon, Claudia Schiffer, River Phoenix, Phil Hartman, Julius Caesar; Oppositions – Sheena Easton, Farrah Fawcett, Brooke Shields, Darryl Hannah, George Clooney, Todd Bridges, Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
