Solar activity was moderate, with background solar X-ray flux at C-class levels and eight designated sunspot groups present on the visible solar disk. Region 3372 (N24E53, Eko/beta) became more visible and magnetic maps indicated a simple bipolar arrangement, but it was still quite foreshortened. The region was somewhat unstable and produced frequent C-class flares, to include the largest flare of the period, a M2.1/1n (R1; Minor) at 13/1920 UTC. Region 3363 (S23W20, Dko/beta-delta) underwent little overall change and despite the delta classification, magnetic shear was generally weak and the region was inactive. Region 3367 (N10W56, Eai/beta-delta) underwent decay in the trailing spots, but mild growth in the intermediate section. A weak delta configuration developed, but weakened further as the period progressed. A few additional C-class flare were observed from just beyond the east-southeast limb. Additional limb activity was observed along or very near the northwest and southwest limbs. The remaining assigned spot regions were either little changed, underwent decay, or rotated out of view.

The solar kp index is unsettled, with retrograde effects slightly enhanced. The solar wind speed is currently normal.

Solar wind parameters were indicative of a slow regime with probable weak shock arrivals from the 10 Jul CME. Total IMF strength was mainly at 5-6 nT until 13/1109 UTC when a very weak shock materialized and increased IMF strength to 8-9 nT. A secondary shock enhancement arrived at 13/1550 UTC that increased total field to 12 nT and eventually 14-15 nT before it gradually weakened. The Bz component was primarily northward throughout the period, with a brief southward deviation shortly after the secondary weak shock arrival. Solar wind speed started the period at ~300 km/s, with only subtle increases - that eventually peaked at 350 km/s. The phi angle was predominantly positive.

There is a 30% chance of solar activity, with a 20% chance of a minor event, a 5% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

The waning moon is currently in Gemini, at 12 degrees, 00' 34", at a velocity of 12.49 degrees per day.

The Waning Crescent moon is currently 26.3 days old. It is 391280.05 km from the centre of the Earth.

The next new moon is at 18:33:06, 17 Jul, 2023. The next full moon is at 18:33:26, 1 Aug, 2023.

Moon Is In Gemini

Ah, my celestial comrades, gather around, for the Moon has whipped out her twin deck of cards and is playing poker in the star-studded casino of Gemini! She's a whopping 394,401.830055325km away, but fear not my space voyagers, distance means nothing in the quantum field of cosmic wisdom! Gemini, the ever-chatty twins, is hosting our dear Moon, and boy, are they having a ball! Imagine a social butterfly on an espresso shot - that's what we're dealing with here. In plain Earth terms, you might find yourself juggling dualities - like choosing between Star Trek or Star Wars, kale smoothies or gluten-free bagels, yoga or Zumba. It's a double-feature movie night, folks! Communication could also be as supercharged as a Tesla coil right now. So, if you've been hesitating to text that cute alien from Andromeda, now is the time. But remember, with great power of gab comes great responsibility. Be sure not to spill any classified information about the secret black hole at the center of our galaxy - we don't want any intergalactic diplomatic incidents! But let's not forget the science behind this celestial fiesta. The Moon, our luminous satellite, is interacting gravitationally with Gemini, causing a tug-of-war of energies. This might manifest in your life as a sudden urge to learn Klingon while doing the Macarena. Embrace it! The universe is vast, weird, and wonderful. So, put on your favorite tie-dye t-shirt, crank up that vinyl record of Pink Floyd, and dance under the cosmic disco ball. The Moon in Gemini is a celestial party, and you're on the VIP list!

Mercury

Mercury is in Leo

Mercury Is In Leo

Alright, celestial enthusiasts, grab your space snacks and settle in because it's time to talk about a cosmic event that's going to light up your life like a supernova in a black hole - Mercury is in Leo! And no, it's not a new sci-fi rock band, although I'd totally buy their album. Let's get down to business. Mercury, the communication guru of our solar system, known for zipping around faster than a UFO avoiding a government cover-up, has decided to team up with our fiery friend, Leo. What does this mean? Well, you know all those things you've been wanting to say but couldn't because you were worried they'd sound as awkward as a Vulcan at a salsa dance party? Yeah, those are coming out now. Brace yourself, people - words are about to start flying faster than you can say quasar! But don't worry, this isn't some cosmic catastrophe. It's more like a celestial stand-up comedy show. You see, Leo is the life of the interstellar party, always ready to entertain with a joke or two. So, expect a lot of laughter, snappy one-liners and maybe even some good-natured roasting. Don't forget, Leo is a social butterfly, or should I say, social lion? So get ready for some seriously witty banter. Imagine a confident Lion, mane blowing in the cosmic wind, strutting across the galaxy... That's us during this transit. We're all going to be imbued with a bit of that cosmic confidence, making it easier to stand up and make our voices heard - whether it's at a work presentation, an open mic night or just telling the barista how you really feel about their new "Galactic Mocha Frappuccino". And it's not just about words. When Mercury is in Leo, our creative juices start flowing like liquid gold from a star going supernova. This is the perfect time to channel all that Leo passion into something artistic. So dust off those paintbrushes, polish those camera lenses, and get ready to create something as unique and beautiful as a nebula. So, buckle up, space cadets! Mercury in Leo is here, and it's time for us to roar! Just remember, in space, everyone can hear you laugh.

Venus

Venus is in Leo

Venus is prograde at 27 Leo 11' 49", moving at 0.31 degrees per day, and is 60506354km away and approaching.

Venus Is In Leo

Venus in Leo: Turn Up the Heat!

Alright, space cadets, strap on your star-studded goggles because Venus just pranced into Leo like a cosmic diva on a celestial stage. At a staggering 60 million kilometers away, she's still managing to turn our love lives into the equivalent of a high school drama. And I'm not talking about a soft-spoken, wallflower affair. No, my dear star-gazers, this is a full-on, spotlight-stealing, show-stopping, jazz hands kind of love!

If you've been holding back your feelings or playing it safe, you're in for a bit of a shock. Venus in Leo doesn't do subtle. She's the Queen of Hearts, unabashedly dramatic and fiercely passionate. She's that friend who enters a room and makes an immediate beeline for the karaoke machine. So, prepare for grand gestures, sweeping declarations, and maybe even a few "who stole my spotlight" tantrums.

Now, don't get me wrong. It's not all theatrical tears and melodrama. The Lion is also about playfulness, creativity, and unabashed joy. Venus in Leo can re-energize your relationships, bring color into your life, and remind you there's more to existence than your 9-to-5 job and paying bills.

Speaking of bills, though... Venus in Leo tends to see money as a means to an end. Think glittery gifts, lavish dinners, and that outrageously priced, but oh-so-pretty thing you've been eyeing at the store. As Leo is all about generosity, don't forget to spread the love and treat others. Just remember to keep your bank account in mind, unless you fancy eating instant noodles for the rest of the month.

So, buckle up, stargazers! This Venus in Leo ride might get a little bumpy with all that fire and flamboyance. But, hey, a little excitement never hurt anyone, right? Plus, you know what they say - the stars can't shine without a little darkness. Or in this case, without a whole lot of drama and a dash of glitter!

Mars

Mars is in Virgo

Mars is prograde at 02 Vir 18' 05", moving at 0.61 degrees per day, and is 342284831km away and receding.

Mars Is In Virgo

Greetings, space voyagers and earthlings alike! This is your friendly astrologer speaking in the spirit of Captain James T. Kirk. Set your phasers to stun, folks, because Mars, our intergalactic neighbor, has just set foot in Virgo. Now, I know this might not sound as exciting as battling the Klingons or engaging in warp speed, but trust me, it's a cosmic event worthy of its own episode! Now, allow me to explain. You see, Mars (the planet named after the Roman god of war, not the candy bar), is currently in what we Earthlings call "prograde." It's like the Mars Rover has kicked into high gear and is trucking along with unparalleled efficiency - very much like Spock on an away mission. In the Starfleet of astrology, Mars is the Scotty of the zodiac, the real 'get things done' guy. And Virgo? Well, Virgo is the ultimate quartermaster, known for its efficiency and attention to detail. So, when Mars goes gallivanting through Virgo, it's like having an engineer with a super-charged tricorder at our disposal. You see, while Mars is in Virgo, we find ourselves with this uncanny ability to cut the fat from our work habits, much like how Captain Kirk manages to lose his shirt in almost every episode. Suddenly, we're tackling tasks faster than the Enterprise at warp 9, giving us more time for important things, like mastering Vulcan chess or perfecting that Romulan Ale recipe. But beware, my friends! Having Mars in Virgo can also make us a bit like Dr. McCoy on a bad day - overly critical and prone to losing patience. Just remember, not everyone can be a highly logical Vulcan, so cut some slack for those red-shirt moments. No one needs to be blasted with a phaser just for misplacing their communicator. Now, instead of focusing on the occasional Tribble troubles, let's use this time to do something productive, shall we? Whether you're planning to balance your galactic credits, learning Klingon, or job hunting in the Alpha Quadrant, there's no better time than now! Remember, fellow crew members, Mars in Virgo is not just a cosmic event, it's an opportunity. So, beam up your enthusiasm, set your course, and engage!

Jupiter

Jupiter is in Taurus

Jupiter is prograde at 11 Tau 25' 14", moving at 0.15 degrees per day, and is 779636200km away and approaching.

Jupiter Is In Taurus

Alright, folks, gather 'round! Jupiter has packed its cosmic suitcase and has taken up residence in Taurus. Now, keep in mind that Jupiter is a whopping 779717943.058485270km away at the moment, but I swear on my vintage Star Wars figurine collection, it’s watching, and it's currently doing the prograde shuffle. Now, when Jupiter, the galactic guru of wisdom, bunkers down with Taurus, the zodiac's most unmovable sign, it's like Yoda and a particularly stubborn tree stump had a cosmic baby. Translation? The wisdom you're searching for isn't hiding out in the Andromeda galaxy. It's right there, within you, patiently waiting like a Netflix series to be binge-watched. But beware of earthly distractions like cat videos or figuring out the ending of 'Lost'. Your spiritual path is calling, and it doesn’t have a pause button. Now, Jupiter in Taurus isn't just a celestial sleepover; it's your golden ticket to make moves towards that dream you’ve been storing in your mental attic. No more daydreaming about being the first astronaut to open a vegan, gluten-free bakery on Mars. It's time to roll up those sleeves and start ticking off those to-do lists, one gluten-free muffin at a time. Remember, Jupiter’s all about growth, and Taurus is the patient, headstrong coach you need to get you to the finish line. This is also a fantastic time to take a microscope to your financial life. Jupiter, the cosmic Mr. Monopoly, and Taurus, the Wall Street bull of the zodiac, are teaming up to boost your bank account. So, whether it's investing in crypto-coins or selling your grandma's secret cookie recipe, opportunities for prosperity are popping up like daisies. But here comes the tricky part. Taurus loves indulging and rarely says "no" to an extra scoop of ice cream. And Jupiter? Well, it's all about expansion (and not just the waistline type). So, as tempting as it might be to buy that life-sized replica of the Starship Enterprise, remember to resist impulse spending. We don't want to end up like the Death Star now, do we? So, embrace this Jupiter in Taurus era, folks! Tap into your inner wisdom, chase your dreams, and remember to spend wisely. And may the cosmic force be with you!

Saturn

Saturn is in Pisces

Saturn is retrograde at 06 Pis 38' 47", moving backwards at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 1352452818km away and approaching.

Saturn Is In Pisces

Engage your warp drives, space cadets! Saturn is making a pit stop in Pisces and things are about to get fishy...and by fishy, I mean metaphysically deep, not suspicious, mind you. Think of Saturn as the stern schoolmaster of the solar system, with a ruler in one hand and a textbook in the other, ready to whip us into cosmic shape. Now, this strict disciplinarian is heading towards Pisces, the dreamer of the zodiac. It's like Spock suddenly deciding to take up interpretive dance - perplexing, but intriguing! In this celestial alignment, the sober Saturn is going to nudge you to take your daydreams seriously. Ever thought about opening an intergalactic coffee shop or publishing the next bestselling novel about space dragons? Well, now would be a good time to start making those dreams a reality. Get your act together, create a plan, balance your budget, and investigate your loan options. Remember, even Starfleet Academy requires a solid business plan. Sure, having Saturn peek into your deepest dreams can feel a bit like a Vulcan mind-meld - a tad invasive. But don't let that ruffle your feathers, or rather, your scales. Saturn isn't here to burst your bubble; he's here to make sure your bubble is built on a solid foundation. So, put down those "Keep Out" signs and let the planetary 'dad' do his job. You might just find his advice as valuable as a stash of Dilithium crystals. Now, with Saturn lounging in dreamy Pisces, we might find ourselves more restless than a Tribble in a Klingon's quarters. This is the perfect time to channel your inner Vulcan - embrace meditation, take a peaceful stroll through a holographic forest, breathe deeply, and get plenty of rest. Keep a dream journal handy, you never know when you'll dream up the next groundbreaking invention. Remember, even Captain Picard needed his beauty sleep. So, buckle up, stargazers. With Saturn in Pisces, it's a perfect time to boldly go where no man has gone before - deep into the galaxies of our dreams. Make it so!

Uranus

Uranus is in Taurus

Uranus is prograde at 22 Tau 13' 40", moving at 0.04 degrees per day, and is 3012728343km away and approaching.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Greetings, my celestial navigators! Now, buckle up, because the cosmic disco ball, Uranus, has just waltzed into the earthy dance floor of Taurus. And let me tell you, it's like shoving an enthusiastic Whovian into a room full of Daleks - a little bit nerve-wracking, quite exciting, and very, very unpredictable! Taurus, bless its cosmic hooves, is a creature of comfort who likes its cup of tea at exactly 3 o'clock everyday, without any unexpected surprises. But Uranus, oh Uranus, it's the Doctor with his sonic screwdriver stirring up a whirlwind of change! Taurus would rather take a leisurely stroll through familiar fields, but dear Uranus has other plans. It's like swapping your reliable old TARDIS for a brand new, untested time machine. A bit scary? Sure. Necessary for growth? Absolutely! Now, Taurus knows money like the back of its hoof, so with Uranus popping in, expect some intergalactic changes in your financial sector. Imagine if the Cybermen suddenly decided to introduce a new form of currency, or Daleks took over banking - that's the kind of shake-up we're talking about! Stock markets might perform a cosmic salsa, and housing could do a moonwalk. The key here is not to resist, but to ride the wave of change - remember, even the Doctor had to regenerate sometimes! On a personal level, think of Uranus in Taurus as a cosmic awakening from the Matrix of materialism. It’s like the Doctor showing up, grabbing your hand, and saying "Run!" away from the chains of debt, taxes, and mortgages. During this transit, we're being encouraged to redefine our relationship with money and possessions. It's like realizing that bowties, fezzes and long scarves aren't just cool, they can also be functional! Remember, dear friends, Uranus is here to liberate us, and resisting is as futile as trying to convince a Dalek to take up knitting. Embrace the changes, and before you know it, you'll find yourself in a much more stable, and dare I say, exciting place. After all, time and space wait for no one, not even stubborn Taureans!

Neptune

Neptune is in Pisces

Neptune is retrograde at 27 Pis 38' 20", moving backwards at 0.01 degrees per day, and is 4410274630km away and approaching.

Neptune Is In Pisces

Alright folks, strap on your space boots and prepare for a journey to the outer reaches of our cosmic neighborhood because Neptune has parked itself in Pisces and it's ready to party. You know Neptune, right? That big blue gas giant that lives a casual 4.410 billion kilometers away? Yeah, that's the one. Now, it might be hard to RSVP to a party that far away but don't worry, Neptune's got us covered. It's currently doing the celestial equivalent of walking backwards - retrograde, for those who prefer the astrological term. Now, with Neptune in Pisces, we're being granted a pair of X-ray specs - not the kind that lets you see through walls (or clothes, you naughty people), but the kind that lets you see through all the superficial stuff and straight into the soul of the universe. We're talking about seeing past the squabbles over who left the cap off the toothpaste or who ate the last piece of chocolate and realizing that unity is the new black. This cosmic cocktail isn't just a feel-good shake, it's an invitation to dig deep and figure out what you bring to the cosmic table. Maybe you're a whizz at quantum physics, or perhaps your talent lies in making a killer guacamole. Whatever your jam, it's time to spread it on the bread of life and share it with the world. What's that? You're not sure where to start? Well, lucky for you, this is the perfect time to embark on that spiritual quest you've been putting off or to create your own sacred space at home. Think of it as your personal launch pad for your cosmic mission. And remember, in the words of the great Carl Sagan, "We're made of star stuff." So let's get out there and shine, people! And hey, if anyone figures out how to turn water into wine during this Neptune transit, give me a call. Science has its limits, after all.

Pluto

Pluto is in Capricorn

Pluto is retrograde at 29 Cap 18' 48", moving backwards at 0.02 degrees per day, and is 5056579564km away and approaching.

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Pluto in Capricorn

Okay, space cadets, strap on your nerdy glasses and grab your telescopes. Ready or not, here comes the lowdown on our favorite icy dwarf planet, Pluto, making its grand tour through the sign of the ambitious goat, Capricorn. First things first, Pluto is currently 5,056,584,723.169018745km away. Yes, you heard that right. Seriously, if Pluto were any further, it'd be sending us postcards from another galaxy! But don't fret, this distance isn't stopping its cosmic vibes from reaching us. Now, let's talk about this Pluto-Capricorn combo. Think of it like Batman teaming up with Tony Stark. On one hand, you have Pluto, the cosmic clean-up crew, always urging us to ditch those old, negative patterns. And on the other hand, you have Capricorn, the celestial CEO, all about success and power. Together, they're on a mission to get results... and they won't take 'no' for an answer! But hold on to your space helmets, folks. This dynamic duo can also make us a little, well, single-minded. So, while you're busy chasing those dreams and crushing those goals, don't forget to keep your ears open to the ideas of others. Remember, a good leader listens more than they speak! Now, onto the whole "constructive destruction" thing. Sounds scary, right? Well, think of it like a software update. Sometimes, to run smoother, you gotta uninstall some outdated programs. So, whether you're a Capricorn or not, it's time to embrace this transit with open arms. Start cleaning out your cosmic closet, sharpen your focus, and most importantly, don't forget to laugh at the absurdity of it all. Because, let's be honest, it's not every day a planet billions of kilometers away tells you what to do!

The Sun

Sun Sextile Uranus

Today is a good day to pour your creativity and self-expression into coming up with new ways of doing things. Positive surprises are likely today as your aura is ready for the new and unusual. By going off the beaten pathway, you may open up many possibilities for further spiritual and personal growth. You feel free today from all restrictions and you want to fly like the eagle, unbounded by any restraints. Soar high and don't limit yourself. It is easy and natural for those born under a harmonious aspect between the Sun and Uranus to embrace new ways of doing things, to stick up for the underdog, and to express themselves in unique and inspiring ways. These people don’t have to try to stand out as unique–they are original, creative, and progressive without trying. Although these people question rules and traditions if they don’t seem to make sense to them, they don’t view them as threatening their personal sense of freedom. These individuals are far from pretentious. They value honesty and truth, and they avoid putting on airs. They believe in the equality of people, and easily relate to people from all walks of life. There is an unmistakable enthusiasm about life, and generally the life is interesting because the natives invite unusual or adventurous experiences into their lives. They are generally appreciated by others because they are open-minded, fair, and not judgmental. Nothing really seems to faze them! They take things in stride, and are rarely shocked or taken aback by human behavior. If you are holding onto something that you keep to yourself for fear that if you talk about it, someone will think you’re strange, you can safely turn to a Sun-Uranus person. They probably won’t blink, and they’ll make you feel quite alright about it.The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon their intuitive faculties when needed, and those with the trine between the Sun and Uranus have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Some Famous People with Sun in Harmonious Aspect to Uranus: Sextiles – Gregory Peck, Paula Abdul, Kirk Douglas, Tiger Woods, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dr. Phil McGraw, Gene Simmons. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
