Solar activity remained low, but just under the moderate threshold, following a long-duration C9.7/Sf flare at 15/1255 UTC from Region 3336 (S21E54, Dao/beta). This region exhibited slight growth as it rotated onto the SE limb, and was also responsible for a C6 flare at 15/0317 UTC. Region 3333 (S11E22, Dai/beta) had minor growth in its intermediate spot area, but remained mostly inactive. Region 3335 (S15E51, Eso/beta) saw some overall areal growth, with additional intermediate spots developing near the end of the period. New Regions 3337 (N17E69, Axx/alpha) and 3338 (N11E73, Cao/beta) were numbered, with Region 3338 already contributing low-level C-class activity. The remaining regions were stable and inactive. No Earth-directed CMEs were detected in coronagraph imagery.

Moon Is In Gemini

Greetings, my celestial Padawans! Gather 'round, as I, your humble Obi-Wan Astrobi, shall reveal the cosmic secrets of the Gemini Moon. Traveling at a distance of approximately 390,366.329979440 kilometers from our tiny blue planet, it seems the Force is strong with this lunar twin. Ah, Gemini, the sign of the celestial twins, or should I call it the "Yoda" of the zodiac? You see, much like our wise Jedi Master, Geminis are known for their duality, always seeking balance between the light and dark sides of the Force... err, I mean life. As the Moon orbits in the constellation of Gemini, our inner Han Solos may feel an overwhelming urge to let loose and engage in witty banter. Fear not, young Skywalkers, for this is merely the playful energy of the Cosmic Twins, urging you to communicate and connect with those around you. Be mindful of the Force, umm, I mean your words, dear ones. For with great power comes great responsibility, and the Gemini Moon could cause your tongue to be sharper than a lightsaber. Engage in meaningful conversations, but beware of jumping to hyperspace before thinking it through. This Gemini Moon is also like a complex game of Dejarik (that's holochess for you non-Wookiees). It challenges us to strategize, adapt, and tap into our galactic intellect. So go ahead, put on your Jedi robes, and prepare to harness the wisdom of a thousand Jedis. Remember, the Moon in Gemini is here to remind us all that life is a thrilling adventure, not unlike navigating an asteroid field in the Millennium Falcon. Embrace the chaos, trust your instincts, and may the Force of the Gemini Moon be with you! Your friendly neighborhood astrologer, Obi-Wan Astrobi

Mercury In Gemini: A Galactic Brain Bonanza

Greetings, Earthlings! The cosmic tides have aligned, and Mercury has entered the realm of Gemini, 172,806,844.816800267 cosmic kilometers away from your puny planet. Fear not, for this astronomical event brings with it a mental renaissance that even Roy Batty himself would envy.

As Mercury goes prograde, prepare to embark on an intellectual joyride through the galaxy. Your neurons will fire at light speed, illuminating your mind like a supernova. Get ready to inhale a massive gulp of fresh Gemini air as curiosity whisks you away on a cerebral adventure. You'll be so sharp, you'll make Einstein's hair stand on end!

As the cosmic ruler of intellect and communication, Mercury in Gemini is like a celestial double espresso for your gray matter. This Air sign combo is cooler than a cucumber on Pluto, flooding your noggin with a torrent of facts and ideas that'll ricochet around your brain like pinballs in an interstellar arcade.

Channel your inner Blade Runner and let the power duo of Mercury and Gemini turn you into a lean, mean, fact-finding machine. Embrace the curiosity, the detachment, and the reason that comes along with it. And remember, just like Roy Batty, this cosmic boost won't last forever, so make the most of it while it lasts.

In conclusion, my star-seeking earth dwellers, strap in and buckle up for this mind-bending journey through the cosmos. As Mercury waltzes through the constellation of Gemini, you'll find your brain operating on a whole new level. Stay curious, and may the celestial force be with you!

Venus in Leo: A Galactic Love Fiesta

Greetings, Earthlings! It's time to buckle up and hop aboard the love spaceship because Venus has ventured into the extravagant and expressive realm of Leo. As we embark on this cosmic journey, remember that Venus, 91,936,543.144601479 kilometers away and going full prograde, is about to shower us with interstellar affection and fiery passion. When Venus enters the Leo galaxy, it's as if Cupid activated his warp drive, igniting our desires like a supernova. Don't be surprised if you find yourself boldly proclaiming your love from the rooftop of your starbase, or engaging in playful zero-gravity dates. But beware, dear Earthlings, for jealousy might lurk in the darkest corners of the universe, causing emotional asteroid storms. During this celestial transit, we don't just crave appreciation, oh no - we seek to be worshipped like the divine cosmic beings we are. It's time to don your space suits and take romantic risks worthy of an intergalactic love saga. Those who hide in their lunar modules might find themselves drifting aimlessly through the asteroid belt of loneliness. As we traverse through the Leo constellation, we must remember that love isn't always a peaceful cruise through the cosmos. Leo energy can be a drama-infused supernova, so it's crucial to tame our inner alien beasts when they demand all the attention. Keep in mind, fellow space travelers, that teamwork makes the dream work in this vast universe, and focusing only on ourselves might leave us marooned on Planet Singleton. Now, let's talk about the universal currency of love: stardust. During Venus' sojourn in Leo, we're more likely to indulge in a little cosmic retail therapy. After all, who doesn't enjoy a touch of glitz, glitter, and gamma rays? However, don't forget that Leo's generosity knows no bounds. Channel your inner celestial philanthropist and shower your loved ones with thoughtful, out-of-this-world gifts. So, dear Earthlings, as Venus orbits through the vibrant Leo constellation, prepare for a love adventure that transcends time and space. Embrace the cosmic energy that reminds us a life devoid of joy and excitement is like a black hole devoid of light. Until next time, live long and prosper in love!

RoboCop Meets Mars in Leo

Greetings, cosmic citizens! It's your friendly neighborhood astrologer, here to report that Mars is currently chilling with our main man Leo the Lion. And, let me tell you, this intergalactic duo is ready to party like it's 2099!

With Mars 316,008,883.386377037km away (but who's counting?), it's time to channel your inner RoboCop and strut your stuff on the cosmic dance floor. You heard it here first, folks: Mars in Leo is giving us the green light to indulge in some well-deserved fun and games. So, polish up those jetpacks and blast off to a universe of enjoyment!

But wait, there's more! Our solar system's dynamic duo is also reminding us to follow our hearts and pursue our wildest dreams. Because, as we all know, Leo is the king of heart and passion. Embrace your inner Leo courage and go after what makes your soul soar. Just remember to keep it real and not just act the part – nobody likes a space poser.

Now, before you start thinking you're the center of the universe (we're looking at you, Sun), beware of overconfidence during this Mars in Leo extravaganza. Confidence is groovy, but too much can cause a cosmic meltdown. Stay humble, my friends, and remember that respect and admiration are earned, not handed out like free tickets to the next meteor shower.

One last thing to keep in mind during this far-out transit: drama may be brewing like a supernova ready to explode. Craving attention is natural, but if things get too heated, it's time to take a step back and reflect. Channel that inner RoboCop and strike a balance between ego and harmony.

So, gear up and enjoy this cosmic joyride while it lasts. Embrace the lessons of Mars in Leo and remember: even RoboCop knows how to get down and boogie. Peace, love, and interstellar vibes, everyone!

Confusion, uncertainty, and delusions of grandeur characterize this transit. Be alert for deception. Avoid becoming the martyr today just because your self-confidence may be low. Don't buy into every sob story that comes your way and don't play the "poor, poor pitiful me" game. Be careful with contracts. In general, be prepared for any kind of possible misunderstanding. Those people born under a challenging aspect between the Sun and Neptune often struggle with a desire to be something special or to experience something more than the ordinary. They are day-dreamers and idealists. It is easy for these people to trust others, even (and perhaps especially) people who might seem from the outside looking in as unsavory types. They are looking to identify with something beyond what is normally expected of people. Most have in common a childhood that didn’t help the natives direct or define their lives. Perhaps the early family life was lacking in supervision or clearly defined rules. A father figure may have been absent or distant and ineffective. Many people with these aspects have a glorified image of their fathers. Whether the image is very positive or very negative (or if it swings between these extremes), the image is not very clear or rational. Whatever the case may be, these people struggle with defining who they are. They might gravitate towards the “wrong people”, or get in with the “wrong crowd” in an attempt to define who they are. They might be susceptible to being taken advantage of by others, especially by men or authority figures. They can be easily led astray by peculiar desires or self-destructive habits. In order to add a greater-than-ordinary dimension of experience to their lives that helps them to feel special and important, they might be attracted to Neptune-ruled behaviors, such as secret affairs, drugs, or other escapist behaviors. In some way, these people feel a strong urge to glamorize their role in the world. In extreme cases, the natives are completely deluded. However, in most cases, there is simply some confusion about the past (such as remembering childhood experiences in ways that are far removed from reality), and a tendency to daydream about being someone more “important” than they assume they are. They may struggle with early conditioning that made them feel tossed aside or neglected in some way, and certainly not directed and supported. These people are very sensitive, especially with regards to any real or imagined blows to their ego. If the natal chart shows a strong sense of reality and a robust mind (Mercury and Saturn well-placed, for example), the negative interpretations of this aspect are less extreme. Still, the natives are likely to recognize at some point in their lives that they have a tendency to engage in escapist and self-destructive fantasies and/or habits. It is useful to be able to connect these behaviors with their probable source, which is likely to be a weakly-defined ego and identity in childhood. Some Famous People with Sun in Hard Aspect to Neptune: Squares – Anjelica Huston, Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Costner, Cameron Diaz; Oppositions – Sheena Easton.

Mercury

Mercury Sextile Venus

The pursuit of light pleasure gives happiness today. Spend time with friends in harmonious conversation. Go see a museum or go to an art gallery. Activities involving music are favored. Artistic stimulation of the mind is the keynote today. You are polite, choosing your words with care and love so as not to offend anyone. Your tactfulness stems from a distaste for disharmony and conflict. You are not always direct and honest as a result of this desire to please, appease, and keep the peace. You are able to understand others and make a great conversationalist. You aim for fairness in your dealings with others. You have a true appreciation for the arts, and strive to achieve balance and harmony in your social relationships, your writing and speech, and your personal environment. You might do business in the areas of art, design, relationships, counseling, or beauty. Some Famous People with Mercury Sextile Venus: Walt Disney, Sylvia Plath, George Sand, Alison Moyet, Peter O’Toole, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Jerry Lewis.

Mercury

Mercury Square Saturn

Your thinking may be concentrated, obstructed, morose or limited today. Saturn has a way of throwing cold water and constraints on things. Depression is possible, but it will pass, so try to stay optimistic. There may be delays in mail or letters or phone calls. A negative mental outlook along with an unwillingness to accept the ideas of others is characteristic of this aspect. Don't be worried over a lack of inspiration. It won't last long. People will challenge your ideas.Saturn connected to a personal planet in hard aspect has a censoring effect on the planet involved. With Mercury in hard aspect to Saturn, whatever the person says and writes is self-censored to some degree. It’s hard for these people to pour out their emotions, no matter how emotional or needy they feel on the inside. This is because they are always aware of what others might think of them with what they say. They are not necessarily deliberate talkers or thinkers. In other words, they don’t always pick and choose their words carefully or speak slowly. However, they are careful with what they reveal to others. They make plenty of disclaimers, and often come across as negative or sarcastic without intending to. These are people who review conversations they’ve had with others, and who often kick themselves for saying something they didn’t intend to, or for not saying something witty. Saturn tends to have a hobbling effect, and when it’s attached to the planet of communication in hard aspect, there can be some feelings of insecurity about how we speak and communicate in general. These people tend to worry about what they’ve said and how they could have said it better. Some older astrology texts suggest that there can be learning disorders or “slowness” with this aspect, but this is rarely the case. In fact, many people with this aspect are very strong academically. The flow of their communication is blocked in some manner, however, and this is due to an automatic “self-censoring” tendency. Self-consciousness and hypersensitivity is experienced with regards to their intelligence and ability to get ideas across to others, especially in youth. These people need plenty of positive feedback from others in order to feel more confident and less “blocked”.If you have this aspect in your chart, recognize that you are most likely harder on yourself about how you communicate than others are. Ask people close to you for an objective point of view. Chances are, they find you to be astute, intelligent, and an effective speaker or writer. We often tell our kids “don’t worry about what others think”, but telling this to a person with a hard Saturn aspects is not enough, nor is it realistic. They will worry. Instead, I have found that the best way to handle difficult Saturn aspects is to get objective feedback from others! Mercury-Saturn people don’t accept compliments whole-heartedly, yet they crave them and need them. Others around them tend to stop complimenting them, feeling that they either don’t need compliments or don’t want to hear them. Nothing can be further than the truth!Mercury opposition Saturn Your intellectual capabilities are well developed, and you can accomplish anything that you set your mind to. You are likely to possess academic “smarts” and writing ability. In some ways you are a loner. This is likely because your greatest feelings of security arise from a job well done. Be sure to exercise caution in entering into contracts. Don’t overlook the important details that can boomerang against you later. It may be best to hire an attorney or other advisor to help you with these tasks. You might find that you are the victim of “red tape”, mix-ups, and communication problems more than most. You sometimes come across as more stern or harsh than you actually are! There is likely to be a negative or sarcastic style to your speech that you may not always be aware of, but that others pick up quickly. You will find that others often misunderstand your intentions rather easily, or that you misrepresent yourself unwittingly. You often kick yourself for saying (or, more often, not saying) something after a conversation is over. — Interpretation from our LoveStyles Report. Some Famous People with the Mercury in Hard Aspect to Saturn: Squares – Sheena Easton, Kevin Kline; Oppositions – Steven Seagal, Kurt Russell, Tiger Woods, Robert Redford, Patrick Duffy.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
