The Sun

Solar activity was low with six sunspot groups present on the visible solar disk and background solar X-ray flux at C-class levels. New NOAA/SWPC Region 3334 (N17E68, Hax/alpha) was assigned to a recently rotated into view spot group that produced the largest flare of the period - a C6.3/1f at 13/1738 UTC. This flare was associated with a Type II radio sweep with estimated velocity of 364 km/s as reported by USAF RSTN observatories. The region was too foreshortened for a more accurate assessment and analysis. Region 3327 (S15W53, Bxo/beta) decayed substantially and produced only a few C-class flares and optical subflares. Region 3331 (S23W14, Dao/beta) lost most of its original trailer section spots and was mainly inactive. An additional new spot group was assigned as 3333 (S12E50, Dao/beta) to a newly emerged region that grew slowly through the period and was the source of a C2 flare at 13/1245 UTC.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

Solar wind parameters were indicative of waning CH HSS influences. Total IMF strength ranged mainly from 5-8 nT, while the Bz component underwent primarily northward or weak southward deviations. Solar wind speed decreased from peaks ~475 km/s to near 400 km/s and the phi angle was positive.

There is a 15% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

The Moon

The waning moon is currently in Taurus, at 06 degrees, 30' 30", at a velocity of 13.17 degrees per day.

The Waning Crescent moon is currently 25.7 days old. It is 379378.09 km from the centre of the Earth.

The next new moon is at 4:39:10, 18 Jun, 2023. The next full moon is at 11:40:30, 3 Jul, 2023.

Laughter, the best medicine, it is. Share jokes with fellow Jedis, you should. Perhaps even attempt to levitate a bantha, for giggles, you could! In this lunar cycle, remember, Yoda's wisdom you must heed. Embrace the Taurus Moon's energy, and keep the force balanced within, you will. May the force be with you, always!

Mercury in Gemini: A Voyage Through the Mental Cosmos

Gather 'round, my fellow star travelers! It's time to take a trip through the cerebral galaxy, as our favorite celestial messenger, Mercury, takes up residence in the sign of Gemini. With Mercury being 167,269,770.458527058km away, we're cruising at warp speed towards a heightened state of mental agility and communication mastery. Engage thrusters and prepare for a cosmic adventure!

As Captain Kathryn Janeway would say, "There's coffee in that nebula!" Well, not quite, but Mercury entering Gemini is like a double shot of espresso for our minds. Like a crew of caffeinated Starfleet officers, our thoughts are zipping around like photon torpedoes during this planetary alignment. We'll be chattier than Neelix at a Talaxian feast!

This dynamic duo of Mercury and Gemini encourages us to boldly go where no one has gone before – at least when it comes to our intellectual pursuits. Imagine you’re exploring the Delta Quadrant, uncovering new species, and encountering intriguing civilizations – that's how much potential there is for learning and growing during this time.

When these two cosmic forces team up, it's like having an interstellar communications array at your disposal. Your diplomatic skills will flourish, making you the Captain Picard of your social circle (minus the baldness, of course). Use this power wisely, or you may find yourself ensnared in a Borg cube of gossip and trivial chatter.

So, buckle up your starship seatbelts, space cadets. Mercury's prograde journey through Gemini is the perfect time to let your curiosity run wild, explore new ideas, and embrace the infinite possibilities of the universe. Remember, as Captain Janeway once said, "The only way to defeat fear is to tell it 'No'." Say "yes" to the adventure that awaits you during this Mercury in Gemini voyage, and may the stars guide you on your path to intellectual enlightenment!

Venus in Leo: A Galactic Love Saga

Friends, earthlings, and fellow star gazers, lend me your ears (or eyes) for a moment. Gather 'round as we delve into a tale of interstellar passion and drama, inspired by none other than the Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader. Yes, you read that right! Our beloved Venus has made its grand entrance into Leo, and it's time to unleash the Force within our love lives.

Picture this: Venus, the cosmic beauty queen, donning a fabulous Leo-inspired outfit that would make even Chewbacca roar with envy. How can we not be ready to shout our love from the rooftops, or better yet, from the highest peaks of Tatooine? With Leo's fiery energy igniting our hearts like Luke's lightsaber, our love stories are about to go from R2-D2 cute to Han Solo and Princess Leia-level epic.

And oh, how we crave to be adored during this transit! No more playing it safe like a Stormtrooper hiding behind his helmet. It's time to take risks, channel our inner Leias, and fearlessly express our love. But beware, young Padawans, for with great passion comes great drama. If we feel neglected or unappreciated, we might just unleash our inner Sith and lash out at our unsuspecting lovers. Remember, balance is key, and as wise Master Yoda once said, "In the end, cowards are those who follow the dark side."

Now, let's talk galactic credits. While Venus is camping out in Leo, money becomes our own personal Millennium Falcon, taking us on a journey to make ourselves and our loved ones feel like they're worth all the gold in Jabba's palace. It's only natural to splurge on some interstellar bling, but don't forget that true happiness lies in the generosity of Leo's heart. Showering others with thoughtful gifts will bring more joy than any lavish self-indulgence.

So, my fellow star warriors, as Venus in Leo fills our lives with color and re-energizes our relationships, let's remember to embrace the fun, excitement, and adventure that awaits us. After all, what's a life without a little bit of cosmic love drama? May the Force (of love) be with you!

Mars In Leo: A Galactic Groove

Beep boop beep! Attention all Earthlings, the cosmic dance party is in full swing as Mars has entered the realm of Leo! With Mars being roughly 313,894,996.101749659 parsecs away (give or take a few nanometers), it's time to don your space suits, grab your lightsabers, and let the groove take over.

As Mars shimmies its way through the constellation of Leo, it's like a spontaneous flash mob taking place in the far reaches of the galaxy. Leo, the celestial Lion, knows that the secret to a life well-lived is balancing work and play, so don't be surprised if you find yourself drawn to more fun and excitement than usual. After all, as the wise Obi-Wan Kenobi once said, "The Force will be with you, always."

Now is the perfect time to let your inner Wookiee roar and follow your heart's desires. Embrace your inner Han Solo and take the leap toward whatever sets your soul alight, whether that's rescuing princesses or saving the galaxy from an evil empire. But remember, young Padawan, with great power comes great responsibility. The dark side of the Force may tempt you with overconfidence, but it's important to stay humble and work for the respect you seek.

During this galactic groove, it's essential to keep your ego in check. While Mars in Leo might make us feel like we've got the swagger of Lando Calrissian, it's crucial not to get too carried away. No one likes a space diva, and drama can spread faster than the Millennium Falcon in hyperspace. Channel your inner Yoda and strive for balance, remembering that even the brightest supernova eventually fades.

So, dear stargazers, as Mars continues to groove through Leo, may you find the perfect balance between confidence and humility, work and play, and remember that the Force is always with you. And remember, in the words of R2-D2, "Beep boop bop beep!" (Translation: Stay groovy and enjoy the cosmic dance!)

Beam Me Up, Jupiter!

Alright, all you cosmic cowboys and intergalactic gurus, it's time to buckle up because Jupiter, the big kahuna of wisdom, is making a pit stop in good ol' Taurus town! You know what that means? It's time to get our hippie on, embrace our inner nerds, and tap into the dormant Yoda-like wisdom that's been chilling inside us like a forgotten episode of Star Trek. So, grab your lightsabers and join me on this groovy adventure through the cosmos!

Jupiter in Taurus is like Gandalf meeting the Hulk – a powerful combo of deep thought and unrelenting determination. This celestial mash-up is perfect for bringing your dreams down from Cloud 9 and creating a practical blueprint for success. Think less "imagining unicorns" and more "building a unicorn sanctuary."

Now, while Jupiter is 837,254,209.058662653km away (thanks, science!), it's still got its magnifying glass focused on our financial situations. With Jupiter's good luck charms and Taurus' Midas touch, we can expect some serious moolah magic. But beware, my fellow space cadets, the dark side of this cosmic energy might have us impulsively buying all the collectible action figures we can find. Remember, patience is key during this transit, or you might end up with a room full of mint-condition Boba Fetts and an empty wallet.

Taurus is known for living la vida loca and indulging in life's pleasures, so when Jupiter comes to party, it's like Willy Wonka opened the Chocolate Factory just for us. Embrace the hedonistic vibes, but don't let your inner Veruca Salt run wild. Balance is crucial during this transit, so remember to treat yourself without falling into a black hole of overindulgence.

So, my fellow stargazers, as we embark on this cosmic journey with Jupiter in Taurus, let's tap into our inner Obi-Wan Kenobis and trust the process. Embrace your nerdy wisdom, make strides towards your goals, and above all, hold onto your lightsabers, because this astrological ride is going to be out of this world!

Saturn in Pisces: A Galactic Comedy of Self-Discovery

Oh, my dear cosmic travelers, grab your telescopes and buckle up, because Saturn is currently vacationing in Pisces! And I must say, the combination of these two celestial energies is like a cosmic comedy show starring your favorite nerdy scientist and mystical hippie. With Saturn 1,416,491,454.076444149km away (give or take a few meters), it's time to embark on a groovy journey of introspection and self-discovery.

Now, you might be wondering, "What on Earth does Saturn in Pisces mean for me?" Well, dear stargazers, it's like having a cosmic life coach with a PhD in dream-chasing. So, let's channel our inner Piscean hippies and connect with that far-out fantasy of penning a novel or starting an eco-friendly business. But remember, Saturn is the Professor of Practicality and won't let us just float away in a cloud of incense smoke. No, no, we must plan, budget, and research to make those dreams a reality!

Of course, having Saturn nosing around our deepest desires isn't always a walk in the intergalactic park. It's like having your quirky-yet-wise uncle unexpectedly crash on your couch and start asking you about your life choices. You may feel the urge to hang up a "Do Not Disturb" sign and retreat into your psychic bunker, but trust me, this celestial visitor comes bearing gifts of wisdom and guidance. So, let down your shields, open your heart, and listen up!

Now, all this cosmic commotion can make sleep a bit tricky during this transit. With Saturn poking at our dreams and Pisces sprinkling a bit of mysticism, expect some restless nights and possibly bizarre dreams. So, it's time to unleash your inner Zen master - meditate, hug a tree, practice deep breathing, or take a nap (with that dream journal handy, of course!). And hey, why not hit the sack early to give your mind a well-deserved break? Remember, the cosmic classroom is in session, and we don't want to be late!

So, my fellow star children, let's embrace this Saturn in Pisces transit with open arms, an open mind, and an open heart. Together, we'll ride this cosmic comedy wave to greater self-awareness

Uranus Is In Taurus

Greetings, young Padawans and Jedi Masters alike! As we embark on an intergalactic journey through the cosmos, let's take a moment to discuss our cosmic companion, Uranus, who's been chilling in Taurus like a Bantha in a Tatooine desert. Now, Taurus is like the Obi-Wan Kenobi of the zodiac, all wise and steady. But Uranus? Think more along the lines of Lando Calrissian – unpredictable and full of surprises. So, when these two forces collide, it's like a lightsaber duel between the old ways and the new. While Taurus might try to use the Force to keep things as they are, Uranus has other plans, causing revolutions that even Yoda couldn't see coming. In the realm of galactic credits (aka money), we may witness the rise of a new currency as powerful as Kyber crystals, or see banks transform faster than the Millennium Falcon in hyperdrive. And speaking of hyperdrive, let's zoom in on our personal Death Stars. During this cosmic event, Uranus in Taurus urges us to break free from the tractor beam of financial burdens like Jar Jar Binks escaping from the Gungans. It's time to rethink our relationship with material possessions, or we'll end up like Anakin Skywalker – trapped and consumed by the dark side (ahem, debt). But fear not, my fellow astro-enthusiasts, for Uranus is here to be our very own Luke Skywalker, bringing balance to our financial forces. As we embrace these cosmic changes and navigate through asteroid fields of uncertainty, we'll find ourselves in a galaxy far, far away – one where stability and self-sufficiency rule the stars. So, buckle up and prepare for liftoff, because the Uranus in Taurus transit will send us on an epic adventure that could rival any Star Wars saga. And remember, may the Force (and Uranus) be with you!

Neptune in Pisces: E.T. Style

Alright, my cosmic comrades! Let's phone home to the far-out and far-away planet of Neptune, currently chilling at a cool 4,484,060,715.897 km from Earth, grooving in the sign of Pisces like it's an underwater discotheque. With Neptune rocking its prograde moves, we're about to dive into a cosmic pool of emotions, dreams, and spiritual connections.

Picture this: E.T., our beloved extra-terrestrial pal, finding himself in a world full of strange creatures (that's us, humans), trying to make sense of it all. That's kind of how Neptune in Pisces feels – a little out of this world, but totally ready to connect on a deeper level.

This gnarly transit is like E.T.'s glowing finger, pointing us toward our hidden talents, dreams, and emotions, urging us to share them with the universe. It's time to beam up your emotional intelligence and find your own unique offerings to share with the world, dude!

Why not try something new, like joining a meditation group, taking up yoga, or even learning to communicate telepathically with your cat (hey, if E.T. can do it, so can you!). And, just like E.T. building that cosmic communicator to phone home, Neptune in Pisces will support you in finding ways to share your newfound spiritual discoveries with your fellow Earthlings.

So, let's all hop on our bikes, soar across the sky, and embrace the cosmic waves of Neptune in Pisces. Remember, the stars are our playground, and we have the power to create a more connected universe – one Reese's Pieces at a time!

Pluto Is In Capricorn

Greetings, Earthlings and Stargate enthusiasts! Pluto, the tiny-but-mighty dwarf planet, has arrived in Capricorn, and boy, do we have some astrological shenanigans to discuss. But first, let's geek out about the fact that Pluto is currently a whopping 5082105526.314714432km away from us! Talk about long-distance relationships, am I right? And as if that wasn't enough, our little buddy is also in retrograde. So buckle up, fellow nerds, it's time for a cosmic roller coaster ride! Now, on to the main event—Pluto In Capricorn! *cue dramatic space music* Our celestial friends are both all about that success and power life. You could say they're like the Hermione Granger and Tony Stark of the zodiac world. With their shared laser-focused determination, they're unstoppable and uber-efficient. But be warned, my peace-loving pals, this dynamic duo may cause compassion for others' viewpoints to temporarily vanish faster than you can say "Avada Kedavra"! So, beware of turning into a stubborn know-it-all during this transit. Pluto's job, aside from being the cool mysterious misfit of our solar system, is to help us rid ourselves of those pesky negative patterns that just don't serve us anymore. You know, like binge-watching conspiracy theory documentaries or hoarding empty pizza boxes. But fear not! With some good ol' constructive destruction, you can create space for positive vibes and progress. Just remember, fellow cosmic voyagers, think twice before you obliterate anything in your path. Be as deliberate in your destruction as Sheldon Cooper arranging his comic book collection. So, in summary, while Pluto and Capricorn join forces and hang out at a distance that makes our heads spin, remember to stay open to new ideas and perspectives. Embrace the change and growth that comes with this cosmic meetup, but don't forget your hippie roots of love, peace, and understanding. Live long and prosper, my fellow astrology nerds!

Mercury

Mercury

Mercury Square Saturn

Your thinking may be concentrated, obstructed, morose or limited today. Saturn has a way of throwing cold water and constraints on things. Depression is possible, but it will pass, so try to stay optimistic. There may be delays in mail or letters or phone calls. A negative mental outlook along with an unwillingness to accept the ideas of others is characteristic of this aspect. Don't be worried over a lack of inspiration. It won't last long. People will challenge your ideas.Saturn connected to a personal planet in hard aspect has a censoring effect on the planet involved. With Mercury in hard aspect to Saturn, whatever the person says and writes is self-censored to some degree. It’s hard for these people to pour out their emotions, no matter how emotional or needy they feel on the inside. This is because they are always aware of what others might think of them with what they say. They are not necessarily deliberate talkers or thinkers. In other words, they don’t always pick and choose their words carefully or speak slowly. However, they are careful with what they reveal to others. They make plenty of disclaimers, and often come across as negative or sarcastic without intending to. These are people who review conversations they’ve had with others, and who often kick themselves for saying something they didn’t intend to, or for not saying something witty. Saturn tends to have a hobbling effect, and when it’s attached to the planet of communication in hard aspect, there can be some feelings of insecurity about how we speak and communicate in general. These people tend to worry about what they’ve said and how they could have said it better. Some older astrology texts suggest that there can be learning disorders or “slowness” with this aspect, but this is rarely the case. In fact, many people with this aspect are very strong academically. The flow of their communication is blocked in some manner, however, and this is due to an automatic “self-censoring” tendency. Self-consciousness and hypersensitivity is experienced with regards to their intelligence and ability to get ideas across to others, especially in youth. These people need plenty of positive feedback from others in order to feel more confident and less “blocked”.If you have this aspect in your chart, recognize that you are most likely harder on yourself about how you communicate than others are. Ask people close to you for an objective point of view. Chances are, they find you to be astute, intelligent, and an effective speaker or writer. We often tell our kids “don’t worry about what others think”, but telling this to a person with a hard Saturn aspects is not enough, nor is it realistic. They will worry. Instead, I have found that the best way to handle difficult Saturn aspects is to get objective feedback from others! Mercury-Saturn people don’t accept compliments whole-heartedly, yet they crave them and need them. Others around them tend to stop complimenting them, feeling that they either don’t need compliments or don’t want to hear them. Nothing can be further than the truth!Mercury opposition Saturn Your intellectual capabilities are well developed, and you can accomplish anything that you set your mind to. You are likely to possess academic “smarts” and writing ability. In some ways you are a loner. This is likely because your greatest feelings of security arise from a job well done. Be sure to exercise caution in entering into contracts. Don’t overlook the important details that can boomerang against you later. It may be best to hire an attorney or other advisor to help you with these tasks. You might find that you are the victim of “red tape”, mix-ups, and communication problems more than most. You sometimes come across as more stern or harsh than you actually are! There is likely to be a negative or sarcastic style to your speech that you may not always be aware of, but that others pick up quickly. You will find that others often misunderstand your intentions rather easily, or that you misrepresent yourself unwittingly. You often kick yourself for saying (or, more often, not saying) something after a conversation is over. — Interpretation from our LoveStyles Report. Some Famous People with the Mercury in Hard Aspect to Saturn: Squares – Sheena Easton, Kevin Kline; Oppositions – Steven Seagal, Kurt Russell, Tiger Woods, Robert Redford, Patrick Duffy.

Venus

Venus

Venus Square Jupiter

You will probably overindulge yourself today, with regrets later. This is true both with eating and spending. A distinct laziness may overcome you and you will want to be pampered. Self-discipline is needed in order to avoid trouble now or later. Others may think you are too spoiled. Don't procrastinate. These people are big-hearted and warm, with open hearts and a tendency to want to give a lot to the people they love. They can have some problems with following through on their promises, however–not because of any ill intent, but because they sometimes overestimate their personal capabilities, and want to do more, and give more, than is actually possible. At distinct times in their lives, they have a tendency to live beyond their means. They need to be cautious about the tendency to feel overly-optimistic or overly protected. Borrowing from their future and overdoing their indulgence in pleasures is a marked tendency. While people with the conjunction, sextile, or trine between Venus and Jupiter express their bigheartedness, tolerance, generosity, and magnanimity in a generally constant and natural manner, these same expressions for those people with the square, opposition, and quincunx between these planets tend to be problematic at times. Their need for growth, good humor, and fun in their relationships is marked, as is their disdain for insincerity. However, they may attract just those kinds of people simply because they are looking so hard for these traits that they assign them onto undeserving people!Moderation is the most important, and perhaps challenging, lesson in these people’s lives.Interpretation sample from the Your Spiritual Path report — Your sense of form and harmony extend into the important relationships of your life. You seek a strong philosophical connection to match the physical passion. Faithfulness is a key factor if your relationship is to support your spiritual growth, and trust has to work both ways in the partnership. Some Famous People with the Venus in Hard Aspect to Jupiter: Squares – Jason Alexander, Pearl Buck, Julia Child, Joe Cocker, Sean Connery, Alice Cooper, Billy Corgan, e.e. You are happy to spend time in seclusion, studying or meditating.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
