Solar activity was moderate with background X-ray flux still at low C-class levels and eight designated sunspot groups present on the visible solar disk. Region 3293 (N13E21; Dac/beta-delta) underwent some decay, followed by spot re-emergence. The intermediate section retained its delta configuration, albeit, in a weakened state. The region was less active but still produced C-class flares to include a C5.2 flare at 04/0504 UTC. Region 3296 (N16E34; Dki/beta) grew further, but at a slower pace. The region retained its simple bipolar arrangement, but is noteworthy for its somewhat north-south alignment and its anti-Hale (reverse polarity) configuration. The region was the source of a M3.9/0b flare (R1-Minor) at 04/0844 UTC. This flare was associated with radio bursts across multiple frequencies - to include a tenflare (400 sfu) on 2695 MHz - and Type II and IV radio sweeps. An east-directed CME was detected in both SOHO/LASCO and STEREO-A coronagraph imagery. The CME was modeled and determined to be a near-miss on 7 May just behind and north of Earths orbital location. Nearly coincident with this CME was a halo CME; however, analysis determined this to be a separate and likely, far-side event and is not expected to be Earth-directed.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

The solar wind field was indicative of a return towards an ambient, background-like state. Total IMF strength was mainly 4-5 nT and the Bz component underwent only weak deviations. Solar wind speed trended towards decreased speeds, ending the period near 400 km/s. The phi angle was firmly negative.

There is a 15% chance of solar activity, with a 1% chance of a minor event, a 1% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Mercury Is In Taurus

Greetings, Earthlings! Jack O'Neill here, reporting from the cosmic depths of the universe. So, we've got some news for ya: Mercury is hanging out in Taurus right now and, get this, it's gone full-on retrograde! I know, I know, it's like trying to dial home with a broken Stargate. But don't worry, I've got your back. First off, let's talk about our buddy Mercury. This little speedster is usually zipping around, influencing our thoughts and communication like some intergalactic chatterbox. But when it's chilling in Taurus, it's like someone hit the pause button on a quantum supercomputer. Now, Taurus is an Earth sign, and it's pretty stubborn, like trying to convince Teal'c to crack a smile. But that's not a bad thing! Taurus gives Mercury a solid foundation, which means our wild ideas suddenly become practical plans. It's like having your own personal Jaffa warrior to help you conquer your goals. So, what does this mean for us mere mortals? Well, it's time to put away those daydreams and buckle down. Mercury in Taurus is like a cosmic reality check that helps us focus on what really matters. We're talking values, priorities, and even the occasional interstellar treaty negotiation. With Mercury in retrograde, things might feel a bit wonky, like an upside-down wormhole. But don't let that mess with your mojo! Use this time to build strong foundations for your future, like a Goa'uld-proof fortress. Just remember, while Mercury is in Taurus, it's not about racing through the universe at warp speed. It's about taking the scenic route through the galaxy, making solid plans, and setting yourself up for success. And hey, if you happen to stumble upon a long-lost ancient artifact along the way, well, that's just a bonus. Good luck out there, space cadets!

Venus in Gemini: A Nerdtastic Extravaganza

Greetings, fellow space travelers! As Venus orbits into the realm of chatty Gemini, prepare for a cosmic joyride that's groovier than a TARDIS full of tie-dye t-shirts. So, buckle up and put on your nerdiest glasses, because we're about to embark on a journey that's 142,061,324.360681415 km of pure fun!

As Venus high-fives Gemini, our hearts and minds unite like a well-executed Vulcan mind-meld. Instead of seeking soul-stirring romances à la Romeo and Juliet, we crave intellectual connections that would make even Sheldon Cooper swoon. Long conversations, flirty texts, and geeky references become our love language, so if you're looking to woo someone special, brush up on your Star Wars trivia and witty Doctor Who quotes!

For those in relationships, Venus in Gemini is like pressing the "refresh" button on an old computer. Suddenly, you discover new facets of your partner's personality, as if they've regenerated like The Doctor themselves. This transit is perfect for reigniting the spark and adding some pizzazz to your partnership – try out a new hobby together, debate the merits of Star Trek vs. Star Wars, or simply share your most interesting conspiracy theories.

However, watch out for the trickster energy of Gemini! This isn't the time to sign a love contract with the Time Lords or declare eternal devotion. Instead, embrace the "carpe diem" spirit and savor each moment like it's a different flavor of jelly babies. And for those feeling stuck in a relationship rut, remember: stagnation is the enemy of Venus in Gemini. If you can't shake things up, you might find yourself teleported to the singles' zone.

When it comes to your cosmic wallet, Venus in Gemini is all about investing in brain-boosting gadgets and gizmos. Treat yourself to that shiny new smartphone, splurge on a stack of intriguing books, or level up your gaming console. After all, what better way to celebrate this nerdtastic transit than by expanding your horizons and embracing your inner geek?

As we bid farewell to Venus in Gemini, remember: life's as exhilarating as a ride in the TARDIS – but only if you allow yourself to explore new dimensions of love and happiness

Mars

Mars is in Cancer

Mars is prograde at 21 Can 20' 59", moving at 0.55 degrees per day, and is 265804546km away and receding.

Mars Is In Cancer

Well, Gosh Darn It, Mars is in Cancer!

Y'all, gather 'round and lend an ear, 'cause Mars is moseying on through Cancer, and it's about to get all warm and fuzzy up in here. We're talkin' about mixin' that red-hot Martian gusto with a home-cooked Cancerian vibe. So buckle up, buttercups! It's time to channel our inner cosmic carpenters and build somethin' that feels like a hug from grandma - or, you know, whatever floats your space boat.

Now, don't go thinkin' Mars is gonna lose all its spunk just 'cause it's hangin' out with sensitive ol' Cancer. Nah, we're gonna git 'er done - we just need to learn how to dance to this new celestial tune. Roll up your sleeves, folks, 'cause it's time to dust off that old tool belt and get to fixin' up the homestead. And hey, maybe toss in some Feng Shui while you're at it. Make that energy flow!

But hold onto your tinfoil hats, 'cause Mars in Cancer ain't just about the chores. You might find yourself fightin' for family and defendin' your space like a mama bear protectin' her cubs. Sure, Mars in Cancer likes to nurture, but don't let that fool ya - it'll go full-on Liam Neeson if it has to. Just remember to take a deep breath before you unleash your inner space vigilante, okay?

Now, I gotta warn ya, there's a hitch in this astrological giddy-up. When Mars is cruisin' through cautious Cancer, we might get a bit... well, wishy-washy. If our heart ain't in it, we're likely to sit on our cosmic caboose and do diddly squat. And when we do take action? Well, bless our hearts, but we might be a teensy bit reactive and hypersensitive. So let's just try to keep our heads screwed on straight and make sure we're steerin' this ship with purpose, savvy?

So there you have it, space cowboys and cowgirls. Mars in Cancer is all about blendin' passion and compassion, buildin' a brighter future while stayin' true to our roots. Let's make the most of it, even if

Jupiter In Aries: A Cosmic Comedy

Gather 'round, stargazers and space nerds alike, for the cosmic sitcom of Jupiter in Aries is upon us! Picture a giant gas planet, weighing in at 1,898,130,000,000,000,000,000 tons (give or take a few), cruising the galaxy at a whopping 883,913,557.548500538 km away, while it's currently doing the prograde dance. This is truly the time to let our geek flags fly!

As Jupiter makes its grand entrance into Aries, our minds become a veritable supernova of innovative ideas and electric intuition. Think of it as an interstellar brainstorming session where boundaries are nothing but a relic of the past. Aries, the zodiac's trailblazer, is boldly taking us where no man, woman, or hippie astrologer has gone before!

Now, during this galactic transit, you might feel the urge to ditch the carefully crafted blueprints and follow the shooting star of inspiration. And why not? In the immortal words of Captain Kirk, "Risk is our business." Embrace the astronaut within you and try on that spacesuit of trial and error.

But beware, my cosmic comrades, for Jupiter in Aries can sometimes lead us down a wormhole of self-centeredness, causing our opinions to burn brighter than a supernova. Should you find yourself in a heated debate over the merits of Star Wars versus Star Trek, remember that Jupiter encourages growth and expansion, not contraction into a black hole of stubbornness.

As we journey through this celestial adventure, remember that fortune favors the brave. Unleash your inner rocket scientist and take control of your own personal space odyssey. Jupiter wants us to grow, evolve, and embrace our cosmic potential. So, grab your telescope and boldly go where you haven't gone before!

And remember, fellow space travelers, even though we must forge our own paths through the interstellar unknown, it's vital to keep an open mind and an open heart. After all, the galaxy is a vast and wondrous place, filled with lessons to learn and new civilizations to explore. Engage!

Saturn In Pisces: A Groovy Trip Through the Cosmic Dreamland

Alright, all you cosmic voyagers, buckle up because Saturn's taking a dip into the mystical waters of Pisces! I mean, like, it's currently 1,514,410,402.476548910km away, but who's counting, right? Anyway, with Saturn prograding through our dreamy little fish sign, we're gonna be diving deep into our inner worlds, man.

So, like, picture this: you're sitting there, minding your business, daydreaming about becoming the next J.K. Rowling or opening that organic, gluten-free, vegan bakery (I know you've thought about it). Then, BAM! Saturn enters Pisces and knocks on your door like, "Hey dude, let's make those dreams a reality!" And you're like, "Whaaaat? I was just chillin', man." But, no worries, my fellow stargazers, 'cause Saturn's got your back. It's time to take those far-out ideas and ground them in reality, you know? Write that business plan, budget like a boss, and look into those loan options. Trust me, when you tune into the cosmic wisdom of Saturn in Pisces, things will start to get real clear, man.

But, like, don't expect this trip to be all sunshine and rainbows. Saturn's kinda like your strict dad who doesn't always get your wild imagination. He might barge into your room uninvited, asking all these questions, and you're like, "Dad, get out!" But, hey, remember that he's just trying to help. So, open that door, put down the "Stay Out of My Room" sign, and listen to what he's got to say. You might just find his advice is pretty far out, after all.

Now, with all this focus on dreamland, you might find yourself feeling a bit restless or anxious. Maybe even having trouble catching those Z's, dude. So, take some time to chill out: meditate, wander through the woods, breathe deep, and take naps (but don't forget that dream journal!). And, hey, maybe even hit the sack a little early to give your cosmic mind some well-deserved rest. Trust me, during this groovy Saturn in Pisces transit, you'll want to be rested

Uranus Is In Taurus

Greetings, Earthlings! This is Obi-Wan Benobi, your nerdy hippie astrologer from a galaxy far, far away. Today, let's talk about Uranus in Taurus, which is currently on a prograde journey that even the Millennium Falcon would struggle to keep up with. And, oh boy, do we have some changes coming our way! Now, Taurus is like that one friend who has their favorite coffee shop and refuses to try anything new. They love stability, routine, and avoiding any disturbances in the Force. But here comes Uranus, the rebellious teenager of the planetary squad, ready to shake things up faster than you can say "lightsaber." Uranus in Taurus is like a big cosmic party crasher, bringing revolutionary changes to the way we handle our galactic credits (aka money). We might see new currencies pop up like mushrooms in Dagobah, banks transforming into something unrecognizable, and the housing and stock markets doing the twist like a Twi'lek dancer. On a personal level, it's time to break free from the Death Star-like grip of financial burdens - debts, taxes, credit card interest, rent, and mortgages. Uranus wants us to rethink our relationship with material possessions, like that collection of Bantha plushies that's taking over your living space. Let's be real, my fellow star travelers: we can't escape this cosmic shake-up. Resisting the power of Uranus is like trying to stop the Death Star with a slingshot. Instead, embrace the changes, and you might find yourself in a more stable and secure place than before. After all, as Master Yoda once said, "In a dark place we find ourselves, and a little more knowledge lights our way." So buckle up, young Padawans, and may the Force of Uranus in Taurus be with you!

The Sun

Sun Conjunct Uranus

You may feel like a rebel or an oddball today. This transit can sometimes bring strange behavior. Now is not the time to make serious, long-lasting decisions. Wait a while, then reconsider. There is a desire to break out of your rut and do something really weird or different. Stay in control. Watch your impulsiveness and look for surprises. It is natural for those born under the Sun conjunct Uranus aspect to question tradition. These are individualists. They naturally rebel against that which is established. It doesn’t mean that they consistently break all the rules, but they definitely do question some of the rules, especially those that simply don’t make much sense to them. These people have a huge distaste for routine. They work best when they have some say as to when and how they get things done.Sun conjunct Uranus people possess much self-integrity. They prefer to answer to no one except themselves. They avoid labeling people and are most offended when others attempt to label or stereotype them. Although progressive, they can be maddeningly stubborn at times. They do enjoy a certain level of excitement in their lives, and they do accept change as exciting, and they do appear to be quite open-minded–yet on a personal level, they can stubbornly stick to their ideas and they will resent anyone who tries to push them into doing something they really don’t want to do.The Sun, as the ego, meets Uranus, the reformer. The result is a person whose identity rides strongly on being unique. Compare them to someone else, and these apparently open-minded, freedom-loving people can quickly turn livid. This is when these “free spirits” redefine the word temperamental. There, you’ve done it–you’ve found their weak spot. If you place them in a class of their own, on the other hand, they’re happy as can be.These people are inventive, creative, and spirited. They perhaps appear more flexible than they are. On paper, at least, they are open-minded. If things get too personal, however, they can be difficult to deal with. This is largely due to the fact that they cling very tightly to their personal space and their personal sense of freedom. Anything that seems to threaten their individuality pulls up resistance in these people. Sun conjunct Uranus people are refreshingly honest, highly independent, intuitive, and somewhat erratic or inconsistent. They are often described as quirky, and they are nothing if not interesting. Some Famous People with Sun Conjunct Uranus: Willem Dafoe, Walt Disney, Anjelica Huston, Meredith Baxter, Sigmund Freud, Donald Trump, Meryl Streep, Clara Barton, Ram Dass, Roy Orbison.

Venus

Venus Sextile Jupiter

Peace and harmony should be yours today. People love you and you love them. You will go out of your way to help others today because you are full of friendliness and you want to see others happy. Financial transactions go smoothly today and you seem to attract money or material possessions. Relationships are warm and there is love in the air. These people have an easy smile, a warm and responsive sense of humor, and a rather easygoing manner when they’re feeling comfortable. Although they are unlikely to seek out people to help, they’re quite quick to lend a helping hand if the need arises. It’s natural for these people to incorporate humor into romantic and sexual moments, and they don’t always understand more serious approaches. They are capable of much romance, but playfulness comes naturally to them. They can be extravagant, at times, with their pocketbook, but usually have the good sense to stop before things get out of hand. They expect to grow in their social and personal relationships. Stagnation makes little if any sense to them. Their appreciation for the good things in life is evident but not excessive. Often people with these aspects are in a position to offer opportunities to others, usually with regards to work and career. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Venus and Jupiter have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently.Interpretation sample from the Your Spiritual Path report — Your magnetic nature attracts others to you, and you are popular without making much effort. Sharing your spiritual joy does not have to involve sharing on the physical level. Some Famous People with Venus in Harmonious Aspect to Jupiter: Sextiles – Dane Rudhyar, Mary Pickford, Keanu Reeves, Edith Piaf, Geraldine Page, Clara Barton, Ty Cobb, Alfred Adler; Trines – Troy Aikman, Gene Hackman, Bob Hope, Martin Scorcese, Socrates.

Venus

Venus Square Neptune

You may be deluding yourself today especially where relationships are concerned. You are probably thinking with your heart rather than with your head and this can lead to all sorts of trouble. You may be too willing to sacrifice too much for your loved one. Things are not as they appear regarding affairs of the heart and you would do well to keep your feet on the ground. Avoid wishful thinking and unrealistic fantasies. Stop playing the martyr. This aspect indicates a suggestible romantic nature. Being “in love with love” is a strong possibility. Natives with hard Venus-Neptune aspects are naturally compassionate and are generally willing to go over the top for a loved one. It’s hard to say whether their expectations in personal relationships are too high or too low. On the one hand, they tend to easily accept behaviors in their partners that others wouldn’t accept, as they are compassionate and even drawn to people who others might consider trouble. On the other hand, their romantic dreams may be so powerful that they are easily disappointed with the reality of relationships. Deception in love is possible, but self-deception is even more likely. In love, they see what they want to see, rather than what is. Feelings of being used or deceived may come up for these people more than for most. However, if a distinct pattern exists in their love lives that involves them being let down, deceived or used, it will be especially worthwhile to examine whether self-deception was at work. The possibility of clinging to romantic delusions is very high with this position. For example, some with these aspects cling to a romantic notion that someone loves them when in reality that person doesn’t return the affection. Or, they may cling to a romance that has lost all hope. Another possibility is devoting their love to someone who is unattainable or who is unable to commit. Yet another Venus-Neptune scenario is loving someone who treats them badly, all the while clinging to an idealized image of the partner. No matter what the scenario, romantic yearning and longing, as well as delusion, tends to be the theme. The expectation here is that loving someone requires self-sacrifice. The result is an attraction to relationships that are co-dependent and even abusive. Venus-Neptune people are drawn to victim/savior relationships, and they can play either the role of victim or savior! Dependency or neediness in a partner can be confused for love. In an attempt to love unconditionally, they may too readily sacrifice their own needs and eventually feel used. The challenge for these people is to truly love a partner for who he or she is, not for his or her perceived potential. Because they yearn to be loved, it can be hard for them to see that they are actually afraid of a complete, committed relationship. One symptom of this fear is loving someone for an idealized image they have of that person, as they are effectively choosing fantasy over reality. Another symptom is loving someone who is inaccessible or unattainable, as this keeps them “safe” from a true and realistic commitment. At the root of this fear is the awareness of their own vulnerability in love.Venus rules money as well as social relationships, and a person with hard Venus-Neptune aspects can just as well lose money due to the tendency to gloss over problems. Just as they tend to ignore warning signs in personal relationships, they can let money slip through their fingers because they neglect to keep records or account for their belongings. They may have problems with “borrowing from their future” because of overly optimistic attitudes. They may continuously get the short end of the stick as they lend money to people who never pay them back, or invest in unrealistic projects.Alternate Interpretations:^In square aspect to Neptune, your Venusian expression takes on an otherworldly quality. Your yearning may be for that perfect lover whose spirituality, passion, purity of spirit and drive all stem from the highest possible level. Loving in such a manner would seem to remove you from the bondage of ordinary life and transport you into true bliss. Although this seems possible in fairy tales or movies, it’s really difficult to find those elements in another human being. You may also operate under the illusion that you must first sacrifice yourself before you are worthy of love. It’s all too easy to project unrealistic feelings onto your lover, and it is just as tempting to try to alter yourself to please a man so that he will love you. Whether those alterations are in your behavior, your appearance or your attitudes, if you submerge your real self beneath the illusions of what you feel will make you more lovable, you’re selling out. If you want to experience the ecstasy you dream about, you’ll surrender to a love which honors your real needs and learn to avoid situations where you become addicted, co-dependent, victimized or abused. Forgiving the shortcomings of the man you love is one thing; allowing him to deceive or victimize you is another! Know when and how to give help, but be careful of emotional rescue ventures!^Your projections about the man you love frequently overshadow the real person with Venus in opposition to Neptune. Even though you may not want to admit it, you are more likely to see only what you want to see when you’re in love. That feeling of being transported into another world when you’re in love is actually quite accurate. But it’s not the guy who’s gotten you there all by himself – it’s the energy inside you that allows you to soar! It’s not easy to separate your dream lover from the real person standing before you. You may always project some of your own power and tenderness onto the man you love. As long as you can allow the reality of the person to emerge into your field of vision, you stand a chance of having a relationship which can truly serve both your needs. Otherwise, you may fall into the trap of delusion, deception or emotional abuse. Just because he’s the most gorgeous man you’ve ever seen, it may not necessarily follow that he is what you really need – or that he’s REAL for that matter! In all your attempts to become as beautiful as possible, just to make sure that the right man will be attracted to you, you can also lose yourself. You really do not have to sacrifice yourself to know love, but when your heart is filled with love, you’re willing to drop all your boundaries and merge completely. There’s a difference between a soul connection and codependency or emotional addiction. It’s drawing the line that’s difficult. By allowing for periods of privacy and contemplation, you can maintain your connection to your own inner self, which will allow you to keep your emotional boundaries reasonably intact.Alternate, short interpretation: Venus square Neptune or Venus opposition Neptune: *You have a very romantic, idealistic vision of love and may be disillusioned to discover that no real, flesh-and-blood human being ever quite lives up to your dream image of the Perfect Love. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
