The Sun

Solar activity was low levels. Region 3282 (N12W83, Eko/beta) produced several low level C-class flares. The region appeared to be in decay as it approached the NW limb. Slight growth was observed in Region 3285 (S18E33, Dao/beta). New Region 3287 (S22E62, Axx/alpha) was numbered. The rest of the spotted regions were either stable or in decay. A CME associated with a filament eruption was observed in coronagraph imagery beginning near 24/1400 UTC. This eruption was modeled and though most of the ejecta is expected to be south of Earths orbit, there is still a possible glancing component late on 27 April. No other significant CME activity was detected.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is high, making retrograde effects significantly increased!

Solar wind parameters were greatly enhanced during the period due to influences from CME passage. Total field reached a maximum of 34 nT early, while the Bz component reached a maximum of -33 nT. Total field remained relatively steady near 30-32 nT through through 24/0900 UTC, when a gradual decrease through the remainder of the period was observed. The Bz component slowly diminished and rotated north at 24/1045 UTC. Solar wind speed decreased from approximately 650 km/s to near 500 km/s.

There is a 35% chance of solar activity, with a 35% chance of a minor event, a 25% chance of a moderate event, and a 5% chance of a strong event.

Moon Is In Cancer

*In the style of Captain James T. Kirk* Greetings, space cadets! It is I, your cosmic commander, here to enlighten you with a groovy and out-of-this-world horoscope. Our lunar buddy, the Moon, has found itself in the far-out land of Cancer... precisely 398,468.019530864 kilometers away from our humble little planet. *Pauses and gazes dramatically into the distance* As we embark on this interstellar journey, it's crucial that you engage... your warp drive of emotions. Cancer, the celestial crab, is known for its deep sensitivity and strong intuition, much like our beloved Dr. McCoy. But fear not, my friends, for these heightened emotions shall guide you towards the final frontier of inner discovery. *Enthusiastically points at the stars* With the Moon in Cancer, you may feel a gravitational pull towards the comfort of your own space-pod, or... home, as you Earthlings call it. Embrace this cosmic connection, dear explorers, and let it be a time to recharge your dilithium crystals... or simply put, your energy. As we orbit around this zodiacal phenomenon, you'll find your galactic empathy levels rising to new heights. Use this newfound power to forge bonds stronger than the hull of the USS Enterprise! But be cautious, dear navigators, for these emotional tides can be as unpredictable as a Klingon at a peace conference. *Pauses for dramatic effect* In conclusion, my fellow stargazers, remember that even in the vastness of the cosmos, emotions are a fundamental aspect of our existence. May the Moon in Cancer be a reminder of the importance of empathy, comfort, and connection, as we boldly go where no one has gone before. Live long and prosper, dear space cadets!

Mercury in Taurus: A Serenade to the Stars, Hoban 'Wash' Washburn Style

Gather 'round, space cowboys and cosmic cowgirls, for I have a tale to tell - a tale of Mercury dancin' with Taurus like a leaf on the wind. While Mercury is known for its quick wits and smooth talkin', Taurus prefers to take it slow and steady, just like a well-loved cargo ship cruising through the 'verse.

Now, y'all might be wonderin' what happens when these two celestial dance partners find themselves in the same quadrant of the big ol' cosmic ballroom. Well, let me enlighten you with some shiny wisdom.

With Mercury in Taurus, our minds are likely to become as sturdy as a spaceship made of the finest alloys. This transit helps us transform those wild, untamed thoughts into solid plans, like a master mechanic working on a beloved engine. You can expect your values to be as grounded as the Earth beneath your feet, and practicality will rule the day like a steadfast captain at the helm.

During this cosmic shindig, imagination takes a backseat, much like a pilot's chair that's seen better days. Instead, we're bestowed with the gift of stability - a true treasure in these unpredictable times. It's like we've been given the keys to the interstellar highway, allowing us to take our time, plot our course, and build a strong foundation for our future adventures in this vast 'verse of ours.

So, fellow spacefarers, as Mercury retrogrades its way through the Taurus constellation, remember the wise words of yours truly, Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: "I am a leaf on the wind - watch how I soar." Embrace the grounded energy of Taurus, and let it guide you through the cosmic currents, helping you turn your wildest dreams into realities as tangible as the stars themselves.

Venus in Gemini: A Galactic Disco Party

Gather 'round, my cosmic comrades! Venus has sauntered into the groovy realm of Gemini, and it's like a science experiment gone wild – think Bill Nye the Science Guy meets Woodstock. With Venus 153,273,839.502604246km away (but who's counting?), our cosmic love boat is cruising through the celestial skies, sprinkling stardust and good vibes all around.

Venus in Gemini is like mixing Pop Rocks with dry ice, creating a fizzy, effervescent explosion of fun that'll tickle both your brain cells and your funny bone. And with Venus currently prograde, we're in for a smooth trip through the cosmos.

When it comes to love, Venus in Gemini prefers witty banter over steamy romance novels. So grab your favorite Star Trek pick-up lines and prepare for intellectual pillow talk that'll make even Sheldon Cooper blush. Whether you're in the dating game or living the #couplelife, this cosmic energy encourages playful communication and endless curiosity about each other's quirks. Just remember, kids, this isn't the time for grand gestures or marriage proposals – think flirty texts and spontaneous adventures instead.

Now, let's talk moolah. As Venus gyrates through Gemini, it's urging you to channel your inner nerd and invest in things that'll expand your mind, like books, puzzles, or that vintage Atari console you've been eyeing. If you're ready to splurge on something more substantial, why not upgrade your gadgets for an enhanced connection to the interwebs and beyond?

So, my fellow space cadets, here's the dealio: Venus in Gemini is your golden ticket to explore new realms of love, laughter, and leisure. Don't be afraid to taste-test everything the universe has to offer, from exotic ice cream flavors to obscure sci-fi trivia. Mars In Cancer: A Hippy-Nerdy Voyage

Gather 'round, my fellow space cadets! Mars, our feisty red neighbor, is taking a cosmic cruise through the sign of Cancer. So, grab your safety goggles and lab coats because we're about to embark on a delightful journey through the cosmos – 252,183,508.329876721 kilometers away to be precise – with Mars currently moonwalking in prograde!

As Mars meanders through the crabby waters of Cancer, it's like mixing rocket fuel with grandma's secret cookie recipe. We get a tantalizing blend of Martian go-getter attitude and those sweet, sweet Cancerian vibes that have us yearning for family traditions and nostalgia. It's not just a step into the future, but a groovy dance move that slides us gently towards progress while honoring our roots.

Now, don't panic, my cosmic comrades! Mars might seem quieter than usual in sensitive Cancer, but we can still get things done. It's all about channeling that energy into domestic tasks – like finally fixing that wobbly table leg or starting that home improvement project you've been putting off since the dawn of time (or the last season of Red Dwarf). Whip out your toolbelt, because Mars in Cancer is ready to rock the DIY scene.

During this celestial soirée, your inner warrior may become a fierce protector of family and home. Mars in Cancer might prefer nurturing over battling, but when push comes to shove, it'll put up a fight for those it cares about. So, don't be surprised if you suddenly feel like a superhero, defending the rights of Aunt Mabel's cats or standing up for your family's honor at the next potluck dinner.

However, there's a minor hiccup when Mars crash-lands in cautious Cancer. Instead of boldly going after what we want, we might find ourselves tip-toeing around our desires. Emotional connections become our compass, but they can also lead us astray – turning us into reactive, oversensitive space explorers who'd rather consult our heart than our head.

So, buckle up, stargazers! Mars in Cancer is a rollercoaster ride through the galaxy, blending passion and sentimentality. Embrace this cosmic quirk and let it guide you to a future that's equal parts daring and heartwarming - all while maintaining your nerdy, hippie charm!

Jupiter in Aries: The Nerdy Chronicles

Greetings, cosmic travelers! Get ready to crank up the flux capacitor and blast into a new dimension because Jupiter has entered Aries, and it's about to get wilder than a Star Trek convention! Strap on your proton packs, because this celestial combo is 888847165.173288941km worth of pure, unadulterated cosmic energy coming at you prograde-style.

Picture Jupiter as Professor X and Aries as Wolverine – together, they're unlocking mutant powers within our minds that'll have us brainstorming like Einstein on espresso. This cosmic duo has us embracing our inner mad scientist, concocting world-changing ideas faster than you can say "E=mc²."

With Jupiter in Aries, we're all like Marty McFly hopping into the DeLorean – there's no time to waste! Put the pedal to the metal and ride that wave of inspiration to your own personal Hill Valley. Who needs Doc Brown when you've got a cosmic powerhouse guiding you towards a future that's brighter than a supernova?

However, my fellow stargazers, beware the dark side of the Force! When Jupiter’s fire meets Aries' combat boots, opinions might heat up like lightsabers at a Jedi duel. To avoid turning into Darth Vader, remember to channel your inner Yoda and embrace the wisdom of two-way dialogues. After all, a wise Jedi once said, "Always pass on what you have learned."

So, what's the secret sauce to making the most of Jupiter in Aries? It's simple: Be like Indiana Jones, forge your own path, and embrace the adventure. Whether you're cracking ancient codes or battling baddies, it's time to unlock your inner hero and create your own epic journey.

Remember, fellow space cadets, the cosmic force is strong with us during Jupiter's transit through Aries. So grab your lightsabers, tricorders, and sonic screwdrivers, and boldly go where no one has gone before. Jupiter is ready to beam us up to a galaxy of infinite possibilities, but it's up to us to engage warp speed and seize them.

Saturn Is In Pisces

Oh, Joy: Saturn in Pisces

Well, well, well, it appears Saturn has found its way into Pisces again. How incredibly thrilling. Currently 1,536,873,041.554771662 km away and in prograde, it's time to look inward – not that you have much choice with the Master of Rules knocking on your door. As if we didn't have enough to deal with already, right? Now we have to connect with our daydreams of writing books or opening businesses.

So grab a notepad and brace yourself for the coaching of a lifetime. You know, because when Saturn and the final sign of the zodiac get together, they're like two peas in a pod, making sure your dreams come true. Or something like that. This is the time to take those wild imaginations of yours and actually plan things out, like writing a business plan, budgeting, or even looking into loan options. How utterly exhilarating.

Now don't expect Saturn in Pisces to be all sunshine and rainbows. You might feel a bit invaded by questions about your deepest daydreams. But hey, you can't just put up a "Stay Out of My Room" sign and expect the planetary "dad" to leave you alone. He's here to teach you a lesson, whether you like it or not. So open up and listen; it might actually be helpful. Ugh, I know, how annoying, right?

As if we needed another reason to lose sleep, this transit might make you feel restless, anxious, or even cause trouble sleeping. Wonderful. This is the perfect opportunity to cultivate some inner calm – meditate, go for a walk in the woods, or practice deep breathing. You might even want to go to bed early to let your mind rest, but keep a dream journal handy (you never know what wisdom might come to you in your dreams). Embrace the lessons of Saturn in Pisces, or don't – it's not like you have a choice.

So there you have it, my fellow space travelers. Saturn in Pisces: yet another cosmic event to add to our ever-growing list of things to deal with. Enjoy the ride, and remember, I'll be here, sharing in your enthusiasm. Or lack thereof.

Uranus Is In Taurus

Great Scott! Uranus, the planet of revolution and change, has entered Taurus, the sign that prefers everything just the way it is, thank you very much! It's like Marty McFly meeting his future self – a cosmic paradox that could rewrite the fabric of space-time itself! But fear not, my fellow stargazers, for this celestial mashup brings with it opportunities for growth, innovation, and yes, even stability in the long run. Picture this: It's 1.21 gigawatts of change surging through Taurus' financial realm at a staggering 3086203727.846207619km away. With Uranus currently in prograde, we're all aboard the DeLorean, speeding toward a future where money matters are shaken up like a Flux Capacitor on overdrive. New currencies might emerge, banks could transform, and the housing and stock markets may be in for a wild ride. Hold on to your hoverboards! But don't start hoarding plutonium just yet. On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus is here to help us bust out of our money-related comfort zones. That's right, Doc Brown himself would be proud. It's time to reevaluate our financial priorities – whether that means breaking free from the chains of debt, cutting ties with material possessions, or finding innovative ways to save and invest. Think of it as a cosmic opportunity to go "Back to the Financial Future" and rewrite our own money stories. Resisting this planetary shift is like trying to stop the DeLorean from hitting 88mph – it's futile and will only cause chaos in the space-time continuum. Embrace the changes, and we may find ourselves cruising towards a more stable, prosperous future. So, stargazers, dust off your lab coats and grab your astrological toolkits. We're in for seven years of Uranus in Taurus, and it's up to us to harness this cosmic energy for the greater good. Just remember: where we're going, we don't need roads – but a solid financial plan wouldn't hurt either.

Pluto Is In Aquarius

Greetings, fellow interstellar travelers! Gather 'round, because I've got some cosmic news that'll make your socks go for a spin through the Stargate! So, Pluto, our beloved not-quite-a-planet-anymore (thanks a lot, Neil deGrasse Tyson), is currently cruising through the sign of Aquarius. How far away is it, you ask? Oh, just about 5,185,332,601.418675423 kilometers away. But hey, who's counting, right? Now, let's dive in and figure out what this means for us Earthlings. You see, Pluto is like the demolition expert of the planetary squad, and Aquarius is the innovative mastermind. Put them together, and we've got ourselves a recipe for some serious transformation, folks. We're talking the kind of change that makes you question everything you thought you knew, like finding out there's life on other planets or realizing that wearing socks with sandals really is a fashion faux pas. As Pluto sashays its way through Aquarius, expect to see some major advancements in science, technology, and space travel. I'm talking giant leaps for mankind, people! But it's not all rocket ships and laser beams. This cosmic combo also has the power to bring about a massive shift in civil rights and humanitarianism. The world will start to look more like a global village where we all join hands, sing "Kumbaya," and work together for the greater good. Or at least, that's the dream. On a personal level, this galactic tango urges us to take a long, hard look at ourselves and our place in the universe. Sure, we can keep focusing on what's best for numero uno, but Pluto in Aquarius wants us to think bigger. Like, universal peace and alien high-fives kind of big. Are you ready to step up and embrace this transformation? Or will you cling to your old ways like a Goa'uld to a host? The choice is yours, my fellow space cadets. So keep your eyes on the stars, your heart open to change, and your Stargate coordinates locked in for a wild ride through the cosmos. Remember, we're all in this together, and as Jack O'Neill would say, "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

Sun Sextile Moon

There is a nice balance today between your emotional side and your ego. This will promote harmony between you and women, the public, family members, and children. Think about talking over emotional issues with the people you are close to as this transit brings harmony and a willingness to compromise and see the others' point of view.

The Sun

The Sun

Sun Sextile Saturn

Self-discipline, organizing ability, and stamina are the order of the day. You are methodical, systematic and can make much progress today simply by rolling up your shirt sleeves and getting to work. People above you are likely to notice your efficient efforts and reward for your hard work will be imminent. Constructive ambition, patience, practical insights, and maturity are the keywords today. It is easy and natural for those born under a harmonious aspect between the Sun and Saturn to accept responsibilities, to lead a rather ordered life, and to apply caution in their financial and business dealings. They rarely jump to conclusions or take uneducated risks. They have a certain amount of patience and enough self-discipline to slowly but surely achieve what they set out to do. Although somewhat undemonstrative, they are generally loyal and responsible people to those they care about. These are not the quickest-moving people around—they take their time and generally use a step-by-step approach to most projects—but they steadily reach their goals. Sun sextile and trine Saturn people are naturally trustworthy, and they don’t have much patience for those who don’t show respect for others, who take foolish risks, and who lead disorganized lives. With the trine, all of these traits come naturally. With the sextile, these traits are available when they are needed. Some Famous People with Sun in Harmonious Aspect to Saturn: Sextiles – Jennifer Aniston, M C Hammer, Ben Affleck, Meryl Streep, Carl Sandburg, Angelina Jolie, Winston Churchill, Robert DeNiro; Trines – Justin Timberlake, Leonardo DiCaprio, Muhammad Ali, Bono (U2), Ron Howard, Raquel Welch, Gloria Vanderbilt, Dinah Shore, Linda McCartney, Sheena Easton, Elton John, Catherine Deneuve, Pearl Bailey.

Mercury Conjunct Uranus

Thoughts race around your head like electricity. New and original ideas bombard your mind and you want to express these in communication with your friends. There is freedom in thought as well as in speech and you don't want anyone to put restraint on you. Avoid jumping to conclusions and slow down your mind if you have to. Pay attention to what you are doing so you don't have an accident. You are an independent thinker with progressive ideas. Many of you are brilliant in your own way, able to grasp a wide variety of topics with speed, although not always understood. Your thinking is often ahead of your time. You speak with honesty, and you can be very stubborn about it — you say what you think and if it doesn’t go over well, it’s not something that causes you much concern. You don’t obediently accept rules, especially social ones, and prefer to work at your own pace. You might resent having to follow codes, and you have a strong distaste for taking part in mental tasks that you don’t totally believe in. You don’t like to “fake” anything, and this can be challenging in the school years when you might frequently be called on to write about topics that don’t interest you. Your mental energy and output is quite variable, as you prefer to work when inspired. You are a very interesting conversationalist, offering unusual opinions and perspectives. You are not always in touch with yourself, and should take time to reflect so that you don’t attach yourself to ideas that are based more on instigating and challenging established thought than on what you truly believe. You are easily bored, especially by routine tasks. Your thoughts, and possibly speech, can be scattered and disorderly, although you generally know where everything is even if it doesn’t appear to be the case. You dislike hypocrisy, and truth is important to you above all else.Interpretation sample from the In-Depth Profile report — You get a new idea every minute and have difficulty waiting to express it. You are truly innovative and original in your thought process. While you are nervous, you do have good mechanical aptitude. If you can get control of your hands and mind, you can be quite inventive. You have a love for technical subjects and do your best work while blazing new trails on the frontiers of knowledge. Most of your difficulties stem from situations that require you to be regular, ordinary, and consistent, conforming to everyone else’s procedures. Unfortunately for you, a certain amount of traditional training is necessary or no one will understand how good your ideas really are. You have a flood of New Age information in you. You need to find a way to express it.Some Famous People with Mercury conjunct Uranus: Leonardo DiCaprio, Keanu Reeves, Leonard Nimoy, Humphrey Bogart, Desi Arnaz, e. e. cummings.

Mars

Mars

Mars Sextile Uranus

You are inventive, ingenious, and original today, both in thought and deed. This is a good day to work on mechanical things. Do that repair work on your car or around your house. Think of new ways to be productive. Don't let seeming restrictions keep you from getting things done. The force of your energy will allow you to hurdle any roadblocks without making trouble. Use the restlessness and nervous energy you may feel today in a positive way. Break out of a rut.You are highly original and very enthusiastic about life. You express yourself with creative drama, which leaves a lasting effect on others. In order to explore your numerous creative potentials, you demand a great deal of personal freedom from those who are close to you. You have seemingly unlimited energy with which to pursue your goals and have many projects to occupy your time. You sometimes become impatient because you have so much you want to accomplish and only a limited amount of time to do so. You truly enjoy having limitless options in your life and feel sorry for those who lead a more boring existence! Never bored, you want to surround yourself with others who are exciting and futuristic in their outlook. One lesson of this aspect is to learn to be patient with others who are not similarly inclined. Also, learn to do things in moderation. Take a vacation and unwind from time to time. In your love life, you are impulsive and can become restless if the relationship doesn’t seem to be going somewhere. The idea that you can grow as an individual while maintaining a partnership is important to you. Your sexual needs are strong, and you need a partner who shares this quality. You have inexhaustible reserves of physical energy when it comes to sex, and you find it extremely natural to experiment and to introduce variety into your sex life. You don’t quite understand it when a partner doesn’t have the same need! To you, changing the way you make love is completely natural, and you wouldn’t have a good time with a partner who prefers to keep things status quo in the bedroom. However, you are willing to accept your partner’s limits, and you take things in stride. An exciting and fun lover, you don’t bore a lover or get into the kinds of sexual “ruts” that some people do. You may find marriage rather restrictive and prefer to enter into a more unconventional arrangement, such as a live-in relationship. You have a wide circle of friends, and your mate must be willing and able to not restrict your access to them through possessiveness or jealousy. There is no quicker way to lose you! — Interpretation samplr from our LoveStyles Report. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
