The Sun

Solar activity was at low levels. Region 3279 (S19W78, Cro/beta) produced the strongest event of the period, an impulsive C2.2/Sf flare at 23/0640 UTC. No significant growth was observed from any of the numbered active regions on the visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

NOAA reports a Severe Solar Storm! Retrograde effects are extremely increased! The solar wind speed is high, making retrograde effects significantly increased!

Solar wind parameters were greatly enhanced during the period. Total magnetic flux began increasing from 5 nT to 11 nT by 23/1200 UTC. Solar wind speeds remained slow until 23/1700 UTC, when an interplanetary shock was observed in the solar wind. Solar wind speeds abruptly increased from ~360 km/s to between 450-500 km/s. Total magnetic field strength increased from ~9 nT to 25 nT during the shock. The Bz component rotated south and maintained a far south configuration through 23/2015 UTC, at which point Bz rapidly rotated northward. Solar wind speeds further increased to above 600 km/s by 23/1943 UTC, but low density produced sporadic measurements late in the period.

There is a 15% chance of solar activity, with a 25% chance of a minor event, a 30% chance of a moderate event, and a 30% chance of a strong event.

Mars In Cancer: A Cosmic Comedy

Oh, joy! Mars is in Cancer, and everything is just peachy. The universe has decided to throw us a curveball, as if we needed any more excitement in our lives. But worry not, my fellow earthlings, for I shall guide you through this cosmic conundrum with the enthusiasm of a sloth on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

As Mars, that fiery ball of cosmic energy, meanders through Cancer's emotional rollercoaster, we're given the delightful task of blending initiative with nostalgia. It's like trying to put out a fire by throwing old family photo albums at it. Nevertheless, we'll find solace in connecting with the past and gently tiptoeing into the future, as if we're sneaking out of our childhood home after curfew.

Now, Mars may be a bit subdued during this transit, but fear not - it's merely taking a break from its usual intensity. Think of it as a caffeine-free version of itself. Instead of charging forward with reckless abandon, Mars in Cancer would rather roll up its sleeves and get to work on some home improvement projects. So, grab your toolbox and channel your inner Bob the Builder, for there are shelves to be hung and walls to be painted!

During this time, you might also find your inner mama bear (or papa bear) awakening, as Mars in Cancer brings out the protective instinct in all of us. Defending your family and home will be a top priority, and let's face it - who doesn't enjoy a good old-fashioned pillow fort?

However, there's a catch (isn't there always?). With Mars traipsing through cautious Cancer, our approach to achieving our goals becomes somewhat passive-aggressive. It's like trying to win a marathon by walking the entire way. Emotional connection dictates our actions, leading to potentially oversensitive and reactive decisions. But hey, at least we're in touch with our feelings, right?

So, buckle up, dear earthlings, for the cosmic comedy of Mars in Cancer is upon us. Embrace your inner hippie, nurture your home, and try not to take life too seriously. After all, we're just tiny specks in this vast universe, trying to make sense of the stars while juggling our everyday chaos. Good luck, and remember - don't panic!

Jupiter in Aries: Ignite Your Inner Nerd and Blast Off!

Oh, cosmic wanderers, behold! Jupiter, the groovy giant of our solar system, is chilling in Aries, and it's about to turn our brains into interstellar fireworks! At a mind-boggling 889,180,371.873364449 km away (give or take a few micrometers), Jupiter is currently doing the celestial twist in prograde motion. So, buckle up your moon boots and grab your favorite kaleidoscope, because this far-out transit is gonna be a wild ride!

During this cosmic jam session, Jupiter in Aries is like a mad scientist on a caffeine binge, sparking innovative ideas and zapping us with bolts of intuition. It's as if Doc Brown from "Back to the Future" just handed us the keys to the DeLorean time machine! Say goodbye to those dusty old limits, and hello to a brave new world of funky fresh possibilities.

Aries, being the zodiac's trailblazing pioneer, is all about diving headfirst into the unknown. Under this groovy influence, we're encouraged to strap on our jetpacks and blast off toward uncharted territory. Forget about overanalyzing every little detail; life's too short for that, man! Seize the moment, embrace the chaos, and let the cosmic winds carry you forward. Remember, it's all about the journey, not the destination (or something like that).

Now, Jupiter usually digs learning from others, but during this far-out phase, it's all about DIY education. You'll be like a cosmic MacGyver, figuring things out as you go, and making magic happen with nothing more than your wits, a paperclip, and some duct tape. Don't sweat it if you're not the next Einstein; sometimes, the best lessons come from spectacular failures (trust me, I've been there).

But beware, space cadets! Jupiter in Aries can also crank up the heat on our opinions and make us a tad impatient for action. It's like we're all wearing rose-colored glasses with extra-strong prescription lenses. Keep your cool and remember that two-way dialogue is still groovy, even during this me-focused transit. Stay open-minded and don't let your inner mad scientist turn into a cosmic dictator.

So, as Jupiter salsa dances through Aries, remember

Saturn Is In Pisces

Great Scott! Saturn has entered Pisces, my dear friends, and it's time to strap in for a cosmic journey of self-discovery and daydream analysis, courtesy of our planetary "dad." Hold on to your flux capacitors, because we're about to dive into a realm where dreams meet reality at precisely 88 miles per hour! Now, you see, when Saturn, the Master of Rules, takes a dip in the piscine waters of Pisces, it's like an intergalactic invitation to connect with those wild and wonderful dreams we've been harboring. You know the ones: writing the next great sci-fi novel, opening that cafe that only serves food inspired by 80s movies, or even inventing time travel (if I haven't beaten you to it). So grab a notepad and a hoverboard, because our celestial mentor is about to give us some serious life coaching! But beware, folks! Saturn in Pisces isn't all fun and hoverboard races. Oh no, this planetary "dad" can be a tad invasive, poking and prodding at our most cherished daydreams like a curious scientist examining a DeLorean. It may feel as if our personal space-time continuum is being disrupted, but trust me, we must embrace this cosmic intervention. Saturn's got some nuggets of wisdom that are worth their weight in plutonium. As we navigate this Piscean dreamscape, we might encounter some sleep disturbances – restless nights, anxiety, or even full-on insomnia. Fear not, fellow time travelers! This is simply an opportunity to cultivate inner peace and tranquility, much like Marty McFly trying to get back to the future. Meditate, take long walks through the woods (watch out for peeping Tannens!), and treat yourself to some extra Z's. And don't forget to keep a dream journal handy, because you never know when inspiration might strike at 1.21 gigawatts! So, fellow cosmic adventurers, let's make the most of Saturn's sojourn in Pisces. Embrace the lessons and wisdom this celestial "dad" has to offer, and together, we'll chart a course towards turning our wildest dreams into reality. Where we're going, we don't need roads… but we might need a little help from Saturn. Godspeed!

But here comes Uranus, the rebel planet of surprises, shaking things up in Taurus' backyard like an uninvited DJ at a book club meeting. Now, Taurus is the money expert of the zodiac, so with Uranus rocking their world, we can expect some far-out financial transformations on the horizon. We're talking cryptocurrency revolutions, banks teleporting into the fifth dimension, and the stock market doing the hokey pokey. On a personal level, Uranus in Taurus is like a cosmic Marie Kondo, urging us to declutter not just our closets, but our entire approach to money and possessions. It's time to say "sayonara" to debt, taxes, and credit card interest, and "hello" to financial freedom. But fear not, fellow stargazers! While the changes may seem as jarring as finding out your favorite sci-fi character is actually a Cylon, Uranus is here to liberate us from our material chains. It's time to trade our heels for Birkenstocks and embrace the winds of change. Resistance is futile, but trust in the cosmic plan – these shifts will lead us to a more stable and groovy future. Sun Sextile Saturn

Self-discipline, organizing ability, and stamina are the order of the day. You are methodical, systematic and can make much progress today simply by rolling up your shirt sleeves and getting to work. People above you are likely to notice your efficient efforts and reward for your hard work will be imminent. Constructive ambition, patience, practical insights, and maturity are the keywords today. It is easy and natural for those born under a harmonious aspect between the Sun and Saturn to accept responsibilities, to lead a rather ordered life, and to apply caution in their financial and business dealings. They rarely jump to conclusions or take uneducated risks. They have a certain amount of patience and enough self-discipline to slowly but surely achieve what they set out to do. Although somewhat undemonstrative, they are generally loyal and responsible people to those they care about. These are not the quickest-moving people around—they take their time and generally use a step-by-step approach to most projects—but they steadily reach their goals. Sun sextile and trine Saturn people are naturally trustworthy, and they don’t have much patience for those who don’t show respect for others, who take foolish risks, and who lead disorganized lives. With the trine, all of these traits come naturally. With the sextile, these traits are available when they are needed. Some Famous People with Sun in Harmonious Aspect to Saturn: Sextiles – Jennifer Aniston, M C Hammer, Ben Affleck, Meryl Streep, Carl Sandburg, Angelina Jolie, Winston Churchill, Robert DeNiro; Trines – Justin Timberlake, Leonardo DiCaprio, Muhammad Ali, Bono (U2), Ron Howard, Raquel Welch, Gloria Vanderbilt, Dinah Shore, Linda McCartney, Sheena Easton, Elton John, Catherine Deneuve, Pearl Bailey.

Power struggles may be likely today. You may encounter others who try to force their will on you or others who resent feeling as if you are forcing your ego on them. Try to compromise and find a balance. Transformation can come about if you are open to change and if you can keep your ego from becoming all-encompassing. Today may be an intense day. Control your arrogance and your domineering attitudes. Be reasonable.People born under a challenging aspect between the Sun and Pluto are prone to inner tension and negative, self-destructive behavior. When things are going well, they suffer from fears that something will come along to change that. Their thought patterns can be negative, and if not kept in check, they can seriously undermine their happiness. Constantly worrying that the rug will be pulled from under their feet can easily become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Sun-Pluto have tremendous power and strength–when they learn to accept and use that strength, instead of fear it, they are some of the most effective, insightful, helpful, and healing people around! One of the most prominent characteristics of these aspects is the tendency to be intensely dissatisfied with their personal accomplishments and expressions of self. These people put a lot of pressure on themselves regarding their own endeavors. A child, for example, with a challenging Sun-Pluto aspect may work hard at a piece of artwork, decide it’s not right, destroy it, and start all over again. This same child will be especially disturbed if they feel people are watching as they create their artwork. This is a simple example, but it’s quite descriptive of the tendency for these people to be dissatisfied with their creative self-expressions, and to want to hide their expressions from others until they feel the output is “right”. This is largely due to a perceived inability to express or reveal their true personalities to others. They experience a simultaneous urge to express themselves and to hide themselves. They struggle with a deep need to control themselves and life itself. Rarely are Sun-Pluto people completely satisfied with themselves. They are especially sensitive to criticism, and feel the need to “redo” themselves often. There is a marked fear of losing control, and this might stem from some traumatic event in childhood, or the childhood might have been crisis-ridden or emotionally-charged in general. As such, these people are often intensely fearful of, or threatened by, change. This can express itself through attempts to control their lives such that they can manage their fears of being taken off guard. Of course, this generally backfires!Another characteristic of these aspects is an intense need for privacy. They fear being exposed or invaded. Again, this is an expression of their dissatisfaction with the self they are projecting, and they are generally uncomfortable with their evolving ego. They seem to undergo many identity crises, and they feel the need to control what others know about them and think about them. Their fear of exposing themselves might cause them problems with others, who may begin to mistrust them, presuming that if they are so protective of their privacy, they must have something sinister to hide. The truth is, they struggle with a dissatisfaction with themselves and their fear of being exposed is really about a fear of being vulnerable, as well as a manifestation of their own identity crisis. These people are quick to read between the lines. They need to be careful, however, to avoid reading negative or dark things into situations or people. They need to know that if their tendency is to hunt for dark “truths” rather than unbiased truths, this is a self-destructive behavior that stems from fear. Many people with these aspects are overly attached to things, habits, people, and their past. At the root of this is an intense fear of change that would threaten to make them vulnerable. Still, Pluto’s goal is to transform through change. Inevitably, Sun-Pluto people will have to face their fear of change and accept that they need change in order to grow.We all have a dark, irrational side, but people with Sun-Pluto in hard aspect are forced to confront it and integrate it into their personalities. It can be a challenging process, especially because the Sun rules all that is “light” – the rational, conscious mind. The Sun is noble and righteous by nature. Aligned with Pluto, it can have a hard time accepting the darker, intense, and often irrational Pluto energies into one cohesive whole. This is the challenge that Sun-Pluto face. If these people find themselves using manipulative tactics to get their way, or attempting to control others through subversive tactics, it is a clear cue that they are mishandling Pluto energies. It is a powerful indication that their self-image is low. There is little satisfaction derived from getting our way through manipulation. It only serves to make us feel less effective in the long run and on a personal level. If I were to win a favor by using subversive tactics, what will it prove to me? It will reinforce my feeling that I am not effective just by being myself. And, effectiveness is something Sun-Pluto craves.Especially with the opposition, these people might attract manipulative, possessive, or jealous people into their lives. With the square, there is more of a tendency to attract dangerous or upsetting situations in the life. Either way, these people need to get in touch with the reason why they are attracting these people and situations. In all likelihood, they are not handling their own fears effectively, and they feel they are not in control of their lives, and a looping pattern is thereby created. They eventually come to realize that they are very strong people with enormous resilience. They need to identify with, face, and accept their “dark” side. Self-acceptance is the key to handling this aspect. Channeling Pluto energy into constructive channels is also important.Famous people with Sun in hard aspect to Pluto: Squares – Wynonna Judd (Sun square Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto), Jamie Lee Curtis, Sally Field; Oppositions – Muhammad Ali, Robert Duvall, John Travolta, Elvis Presley, Steve Allen, John Hurt, James Earl Jones; Oppositions – Nicole Brown Simpson, R.D. Laing, Maya Angelou, Jeffrey Archer, Brooke Shields, Margaret Thatcher, Steffi Graf, Barbra Streisand, Farrah Fawcett.

Thoughts race around your head like electricity. New and original ideas bombard your mind and you want to express these in communication with your friends. There is freedom in thought as well as in speech and you don't want anyone to put restraint on you. Avoid jumping to conclusions and slow down your mind if you have to. Pay attention to what you are doing so you don't have an accident. You are an independent thinker with progressive ideas. Many of you are brilliant in your own way, able to grasp a wide variety of topics with speed, although not always understood. Your thinking is often ahead of your time. You speak with honesty, and you can be very stubborn about it — you say what you think and if it doesn’t go over well, it’s not something that causes you much concern. You don’t obediently accept rules, especially social ones, and prefer to work at your own pace. You might resent having to follow codes, and you have a strong distaste for taking part in mental tasks that you don’t totally believe in. You don’t like to “fake” anything, and this can be challenging in the school years when you might frequently be called on to write about topics that don’t interest you. Your mental energy and output is quite variable, as you prefer to work when inspired. You are a very interesting conversationalist, offering unusual opinions and perspectives. You are not always in touch with yourself, and should take time to reflect so that you don’t attach yourself to ideas that are based more on instigating and challenging established thought than on what you truly believe. You are easily bored, especially by routine tasks. Your thoughts, and possibly speech, can be scattered and disorderly, although you generally know where everything is even if it doesn’t appear to be the case. You dislike hypocrisy, and truth is important to you above all else.Interpretation sample from the In-Depth Profile report — You get a new idea every minute and have difficulty waiting to express it. You are truly innovative and original in your thought process. While you are nervous, you do have good mechanical aptitude. If you can get control of your hands and mind, you can be quite inventive. You have a love for technical subjects and do your best work while blazing new trails on the frontiers of knowledge. Most of your difficulties stem from situations that require you to be regular, ordinary, and consistent, conforming to everyone else’s procedures. Unfortunately for you, a certain amount of traditional training is necessary or no one will understand how good your ideas really are. You have a flood of New Age information in you. Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
