The Sun

Solar activity reached moderate levels as Region 3272 (S21E10, Fkc/beta-gamma) produced the largest flare of the period, an M1/1n flare at 11/1016 UTC. This region was also responsible for a C5.9/1B flare at 11/2242 UTC. Region 3273 (N09W01, Dai/beta) saw growth during the period, and contributed a few low-level C-class flares as well. Region 3276 (S20E63, Dao/beta) revealed a couple of additional spots as it rotated more into view on the SE limb, and contributed a few C-class flares as well. Region 3277 ((N10E20, Cro/beta) was numbered during the period, but remained mostly quiet and stable.

The solar kp index is quiet, with no changes to retrograde effects. The solar wind speed is currently above average, making retrograde effects moderately increased.

Solar wind parameters were indicative of a waning CH HSS regime. Wind speeds decreased to sub 400 km/s, total field averaged near 6 nT, and Bz varied between +/- 5 nT. Phi angle was predominantly positive. .Forecast... Weak enhancements are likely as the solar wind environment slowly returns to background levels on 12-14 Apr due to persistent, yet dissipating, positive-polarity CH HSS influence.

There is a 30% chance of solar activity, with a 15% chance of a minor event, a 5% chance of a moderate event, and a 1% chance of a strong event.

Mars in Cancer: A Whovian's Guide to Galactic Home Improvement

Allons-y, dear stargazers! As the red planet Mars wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimeys its way through the constellation of Cancer, we find ourselves caught in a cosmic conundrum. With Mars being approximately 233,823,025.468587071km away (give or take a few smidgens), it's time to harness this celestial energy and prepare for an intergalactic adventure in home improvement and emotional awareness.

With Mars, the Time Lord of initiative, joining forces with the TARDIS-like shell of Cancer, we are gifted a rare opportunity to traverse the space-time continuum of our past, present, and future. So, grab your sonic screwdriver and set coordinates for a journey that honors our connection to family values and domestic tranquility.

Now, don't go getting your bowtie in a twist, thinking that Mars' energy is dampened by sensitive Cancer. Quite the contrary! With the right Gallifreyan know-how, you can accomplish a great deal during this transit. It's an ideal cosmic alignment to tackle those Dalek-infested home improvement projects you've been putting off. Mars in Cancer is like having a Time Lord's toolkit for all your domestic needs!

While traversing this space-time phenomenon, you may also feel compelled to stand up for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation. Channel your inner River Song and fiercely protect what and whom you care about most. Just beware, your actions could be driven by emotions that rival even a Weeping Angel's intensity.

The challenge of Mars' transit through the cautious realm of Cancer is that we might find ourselves taking a more passive approach to achieving our goals. If we don't feel emotionally connected to a situation, it's like trying to outrun a Dalek with a flat tire. Be mindful that your actions might be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful, as if you've accidentally stepped into a Zygon nest.

In conclusion, dear space travelers, it's time to hop aboard the Mars-in-Cancer Express and embark on an epic quest of domestic exploration and emotional growth. Remember, in the wise words of The Doctor: "We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Jupiter in Aries: A Nerdtastic Voyage

Greetings, fellow cosmic space cadets! Brace yourselves for a mind-melting adventure as Jupiter sashays into Aries. Picture this: Jupiter, that ginormous gas ball, is chilling at a whopping 890,846,518.302452087km away from us (give or take a few micrometers). Oh, and did I mention it's currently in prograde? That's right, it's moving forward like a starry-eyed hippie at a science convention. So, what does this mean for us mere Earthlings?

Let me paint you a mental picture: our brains are suddenly transformed into high-octane idea factories, pumping out innovative thoughts and intuition faster than you can say "E=mc²." With Jupiter in Aries, there's no time to dilly-dally with detailed plans. It's all about seizing the cosmic spark and blasting off into uncharted territory. And trust me, folks, the sky's the limit!

Now, while Jupiter usually prompts us to learn from others, Jupiter in Aries is more like a DIY masterclass. Forget traditional teacher-student dynamics, it's time to boldly experiment and learn on our own terms. So, whether we're trying to build a time-traveling DeLorean or brewing kombucha in the basement, every attempt (success or failure) is a chance to grow.

But hold up, my astro-nerds! There's a potential dark side to this planetary party. With our opinions blazing like supernovae, we might get a bit too fired up and start World War III over a Star Wars vs. Star Trek debate. So, let's remember to keep our minds open to other perspectives. After all, contraction is so not Jupiter's vibe.

As Jupiter cha-chas through Aries, we're the captains of our own destiny. By harnessing our inner power, we can unlock opportunities, create solutions, and forge relationships that were once hidden in the cosmic shadows. It's time to grab that key, turn it like a boss, and embark on the nerdtastic voyage of a lifetime!

At a whopping 5,217,067,256.106770515 kilometers away (give or take a few), Pluto is happily spinning prograde, bringing some juicy transformative energy our way. So, what does this mean for us mere mortals? Well, picture this: Science, technology, and space travel evolving at breakneck speed, while civil rights and humanitarian efforts boldly go where no one has gone before. In our own little corners of the galaxy, Pluto in Aquarius nudges us to ditch the self-centered thinking and embrace a more interconnected mindset. So, dear stargazers, as Pluto continues its tour through Aquarius, let's remember that change is inevitable, and we too can play a part in shaping the future. Embrace the weird, the nerdy, and the revolutionary—and don't forget your towel.

Mercury Sextile Mars

Lots of mental energy is available today. Planning, decision making, and taking action are the keywords. Communication is spotlighted. Start reading that new book, make that telephone call, run those needed errands. Mental energy combines well with physical energy.Your mind is very restless and you will never cease to learn. You are quick, practical, perceptive, brave and can easily detect the weaknesses of others. You are very creative and you can excel both in writing and in manual arts. You are very secure and firm in your decisions without being aggressive. Your mind never rests and it is important that you keep yourself active. You make an expressive and lively conversationalist, and you generally mean what you say and say what you mean. You have the ability to speak truths without coming across as too blunt or offensive. You often make the best decisions at the very last minute! You can be very productive when you’re focused, spending less time on work that others labor over. You often take “busy-ness” in stride. You are alert and aware, and can easily turn ideas into workable projects. Your communications are refreshingly direct and to the point, although not especially sympathetic. The trine aspect is the more dynamic of the two harmonious aspects. Those with the sextile can call upon these traits when needed, and those with the trine between the Mercury and Mars have incorporated the traits of the aspect into their personalities, expressing them naturally and consistently. Some Famous People with Mercury in Harmonious Aspect to Mars: Sextiles – Tom Brokaw, Bill Clinton, David Spade, Edgar Cayce, Harry Hamlin; Trines – Shari Lewis, Joyce Brothers, Ray Davies, Henry Winkler, Sonny Bono, Beau Bridges, Stacy Keach, Cheiro, Sigmund Freud, Bill Cosby, F. Venus

Venus

Venus Square Saturn

You may feel very unloved. You may see people as cold and calculating. People's lack of sympathy may depress you to the bone today. Social, financial, and romantic problems and disappointments characterize this transit. Selfishness and a lack of consideration are probably the reasons. You reap what you sow and now is a good time to analyze yourself and your relationships. There may be difficulties and delays with respect to women in general.Giving and receiving love are not flowing and natural for people born with Venus in hard aspect to Saturn. Blockages are experienced, and love relationships may be a source of frustration as a result, until the natives learn to love themselves, and to feel worthy of love from others. Duty is often associated with love, and some might find themselves stuck in a loveless marriage, for example. Especially in youth, these people might feel awkward in some social situations, unsure of how to express affections, and fearful of rejection. Problematic Saturn positions often get better with age, experience, and practice, however! In its more negative expression, some people with this position learn to scheme in order to get what they want from a partner, or they might treat partnerships as if they were businesses. These aspects can make natives especially sensitive to “cues” that suggest they are not loved or rejected in some way. People with Venus-Saturn in hard aspect can often “expect” rejection in issues of love and care, whether they are conscious of this tendency or not. This can often lead to negative situations in love — and bad timing or the feeling of having “bad luck” in relationships.People with Venus in hard aspect to Saturn might either downplay their physical appearance or pay excessive attention to it. Either way, self-consciousness with adornments is common. Often, people with this position sell themselves short. They are not risk takers when it comes to relationships, often choosing a path that they feel is safe, even if it is an uncomfortable one. Fear of giving can also express itself through tight-fistedness with money. The key to handling these aspects is to learn to loosen up and relax. Know that you may be oversensitive to rejection — and try to gain some perspective when you feel your love is not being returned to your satisfaction. Are you truly letting love in, or is there a part of you that is scared? Could your expectations and “heaviness” in the area of relationships (you might take love more seriously than most) be getting in the way of accepting love and affection? Venus-Saturn people may have deep-seated feelings of being unworthy of love, even if they are able to rationalize and decide otherwise!Alternate interpretations: Venus square Saturn or Venus opposition Saturn: *You are serious and find it difficult to enjoy yourself in a lighthearted, open and playful way with others. You rarely do something purely for pleasure, and can be very close-fisted and parsimonious. Perhaps due to painful separations in your early life, you are very cautious about becoming close to people and sharing your feelings. Though you crave love and affection, intimacy is difficult for you. You may become romantically involved with people who do not value you or treat you well. You need to learn to love and value yourself before you will find happiness in love.#You may find that your best sexual relationships are with individuals who are significantly older or younger than yourself. The role of teacher is so significant in your life that it may pervade your love life. You will need to overcome a sense of reserve or inhibition to deepen your spiritual connection. Your emotions are deep and powerful. As they say, still waters run deep. Today might be a good day to redecorate or make other changes to your home with the hope of bringing greater beauty and harmony into your life. It's a good time to find new uses for old or discarded items which no longer serve your purposes. Emotional self-regeneration is possible with these energies.

Notes about Transits

Mars is all about action, and where Mars is in our chart with transits is a place where we are prepared to stand our ground. Mars transits can be really productive, but they can also be angsty, aggressive, and sometimes come from a place of anger. It's important to pay attention to how you direct that energy. Mars transits can last for up to a couple weeks.
Jupiter transits enhance your life with optimism and forward-thinking, and lasting for about a month, give you plenty of time to take advantage. Bigger and better is Jupiter's way of thinking, and should be yours as well.
Saturn transits, on the other hand, are where we get a major reality check, and if we’re not ready for them, they can be pretty rotten. Of course, if we’re prepared and up to the task, Saturn transits can also bring very well-deserved rewards, too. Saturn transits last a bit longer than Jupiter transits—usually 2 months or so at a time, but with retrograde cycles, you could be looking at the same lessons three times over a 6 month period.
The outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto last for such a long time that they make long-lasting impacts on our lives. In fact, Neptune and Pluto can last for two to three years! Consider their effects, plan accordingly, and make them part of your life for the better.
